I applied the 1.76mhz kernel overclocked and ubdervolted and I want to know is it safe to overclock to 1.76? And if so what should be the minimum... Also is it safe to force both cores to run with system tuner pro?

Should probably be okay but if you find your phone getting hot and rebooting then lower the clock speed. 384MHz should be ideal for a minimum.
Is there an advantage to forcing both kernels to run?

You mean both cores? IMO, not really as the second core activates when needed i.e. when playing a game so forcing the second core just wastes battery really.

I have a question about using setcpu with over and underclocking. Does it apply to both cores? Or is it just one?

It only works one core which is the main core

No point in using that app anyway....We have virtuous daemon, configurator , viperMod, system tuner. Setcpu has an issue with changing governors constantly that causes wakeup locks, think it's mention in some thread.
Yeah, I recently tried setCPU and it went from 85% charge to dead overnight. My phone wasn't particularly stable while using it either, even when the clock speed was only set at normal speeds.
Our phone has 768 of RAM but my phone only shows 580 ??? I checked in a few apps, Aututu benchmark and in settings/running apps where did my other 200 megabites of RAM go ???? I'm running virtuous Inquisition ICS 4.0.3 AOSP any ideas???

I have to ask, is it causing an issue ? If not ignore it.
Some RAM is dedicated to GPU, system processes etc. It's not doing any harm in fact it actually makes the phone faster

Oh my another "OMG MY RAM IS LOW WHAT TO DO" question The lower it is the better it is alright.. No worries!

That's not true. Swap your 500 for 100 and you tell me your results.

He meant the lower reported value of total RAM the better because more of it is being used by GPU and system processes so therefore giving a performance boost.

I meant the amount of free ram available yes Wrote it on the run so missed that part lol

If it is a completely stock ROM for your network carrier then it should be identical and it won't heat up your phone, of course it will heat up if you are playing games for a while and similar things. I would recommend Android revolution if you wanted stock look and better performance though

Stock rom normally wont cause heat issue, but definitely heat up if use overclock kernel.
Where do you guys get this from? I've used ruus and they overheated loads so I'm using cyanogenmod and its all cool. fyi it didn't overheat when I was using miui with overclock to 1.7ghz.

It used to overheat at EVERYTHING, you not believe this but it was hot after a reboot, even like 5 minutes of internet browsing on 3g burned the phone. Now on on cyanogenmod it doesn't overheat even after 30 minutes of browsing on full brightness.

HTC sensation 4g will root means how long give cell life
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio using XDA
No rooting gives you access to a deeper part of the devices system. You can change things with root access that you were not all allowed to change before.
That is what rooting is. Giving you access to a deeper part of the device system. I hope this helps some.

Increase your CPU Speed. Sensation comes stock a 1.2GHz, but you can overclock to increase it to speeds as high as 1.8GHz.
GPU Overclocks are also available.

With ipad2 mod the game work sucks. 10 fps in a good scene.
Both cores online all the time (faux kernel)
Ill try the first mod. Hope it'll work better
