I just installed this ROM. Gorgeous!
I was trying to take a pic, but get a message saying I need to insert SD Card. So I am guessing this is the issue that CM9 uses EXTERNAL memory. But I know that usually you can opt the system to use INTERNAL memory instead.
Is there a way to do this???

no cause that option isn't there
Not exactly sure WHY it isn't to be honest.
I have the exact same problems, and yes, there is no option to change the storage location for the moment. I hope they give an update as soon as they can, cuz muy LED doesn't work either. But I don't care right now, I am really enjoying this sweet ROM!!!!
In sk3 it had been updated to include this option, go to settings > storage > press menu and hit storage config, then check the option

If you mean the actual SK3 rom then no, but I'm sure over in the Atrix 4G section they have some ICS ROMs for your Atrix.

J just flashed this rom. Last night and I'm having trouble with the market. I can't download anything due to an error I seen this before. All I had to do to fix it force close and clear data.... I did this several times and nothing. I also restarted the phone couple time and nothing. And I get that annoying Google talk notification that it's trying to connect or whatever. I don't even use that app how can I stop that and fix the market.....I flashed the 201108 something gapps...

I've been running CM7 for quite a while and it's been my daily since I am fed up with Sense and memory hogs. Been SENSEless for a while now... so I might give this one a try when I see a bit more development. I DO like the stock launcher instead of another software layer...
Just asking... would this be considered a KANG? Please enlighten me.

I have not seen this issue before, even with several re-flashes of the ROM. Go back to the recovery, wipe everything but the SD card and flash both files again. Might be your data connection. Can you specify this error or even better send us screen caps of it? Just hold power button and tap Screenshot.

For the market errors, try going into language and keyboard, select any other English language. Open market then close the market. Go back into language and select united states English again. This was recommended and it worked for me. Also, adding an additional Gmail account was recommended as well. Good luck.

There is really only one GB AOSP rom other than CM that can't be considered a kang in one way or another. That's SalvageMod. Really there is no shame in the kang, so long as the dev gives proper creds. (Which he did) I have a couple here in dev section myself.
Congrats to the OP on your first offering, I for one will be watching your progress. Hit me up anytime if you think I can help you out.

Lol eh I do what I can, just trying to give people options on what roms to run as a daily driver. I'm still on mokee its nice and smooth and with the ics theme looks like ics lol.

And is anyone else or just me feeling a little bit laggy when pressing power button to go into power menu? and laggy when going to any menu in the power menu like reboot or sth?

Liking the rom. Only thing Im finding is you have to install superuser. E'ffin FB has me liking supersu and it would not acquire root access. Installed superuser then give supersu #su and uninstalled superuser.
Also my initial install was missing things like status bar, settings and such. Did a F/S/D/W and reflashed the rom everything was fine.
Some menus still have Chinese kinda wish I knew how to read it.

I'm currently on CyanogenMod 7.2.0 RC1 R10. Do i need to do anything special to install this or can i just flash the .zip?

Superuser is a known issue idk why the one built in the ssettings doesn't work but ill look into it. As for the Chinese ill decompile the settings and try n translate the chinese.
for cm people I would back up ur efs to the desktop just in case and still do efs backup flashable

Wipe data flash .zip. Working fine so far.
You don't need to do the efs-backup if you have the .tar on your sdcard
And I concur with Erik, having your efs-backup.tar and the md5 saved to your comp is a very good idea
The steps I took to make sure I didn't have any probs was from recovery (already on mtd) factory/ data reset, format system, flash efs-restore.zip, flash ROM, reboot and let cook/ bake...

If I remember right then kernel needs to have ext enabled within.
This mod basically remaps the search button to activate the recent apps ICS style
Current build:
Milestone 6
Previous builds:
Build 40
Build 39
Build 38
Build 37
Note If the mod doesn't work at first try mounting the system first before flashing
As for CM9 all you need to do is change SEARCH to APP_SWITCH in the following files
After doing so just save changes and reboot

Do that first then flash the file

Sure but you need to change some stuff
Go there in root explorer and find the two files that have the word SEARCH and change that to APP_SWITCH and save and exit
Now download the file for b40 and extract everything with root explorer
Erase the keylayout files cuz those are specific to the sensation
Zip back together the file and flash it through recovery
If you dont know what the hell im talking about just upload the two files i told you before and ill do it for you

No i think I can do that. I already have the app switch part done... it brings up pre ics switching though. I'll report back tomorrow... going to do a clean wipe and install the latest version. We are almost getting night lies as our dev is still putting the final touches on it for m6

Hi, I tried installing this through the CWM. Im facing a bit of issues.
When i flash this, it takes me to option where i can choose each of the tweaks i want. Then somewhere in between, the whole thing just hangs up.!!! i need to press and hold the power button to restart the tab.

Nope, Nothing so far. Although i have to say, the touchscreen does seem to have increased responsiveness and so also the scroller. Rest all the tweaks seem to do nothing. I have the beats installed as well, but then it doesnt seem to be doing anything. No change in Audio quality.
How about everyone else who has this tweak?? any changes??

i have noticed that, battery drains faster if i keep fidling with tab, even while reading an ebook. Earlier this was not the case. anyways, i really dont think this is such an important upgrade.

yep, needed a break from trying to figure out the new kernel so I thought this would be a change.
There are a couple bugs so far and I am sure there may be more... It's a nice rom for a first build.
I had to edit the default.xml in order to get the repo to sync as they have moved on to 4.2.2 source and we are not ready for it yet...
Is there any way I can pull the kernel and try it out? I've always wanted intellidemand

I changed my ROM since I needed the menu button. But I'm kinda stupid I am a little sure that there's a setting to change hardware buttons to do something else. Will go back to this ROM on the weekend!
