Hey, I just got a Mediafire Pro Account, and I am offering hosting services for any rom, I know its not a lot but its just a way for me to thank the developers! Why MediaFire? Very good download speeds as free user and no wait time whatsoever! Your file will never go down, if it does I will reupload within 24hours of notification! Yep, there you have it. Thanks, just reply to this thread of where your rom can be downloaded, and I'll upload it ASAP. I hope this is allowed!

I created a year ago WingedBox. It is a great place to upload files for free up to 4Gb.
Do not hesitate of registering and using it for Roms, Pits, Kernels and such.

However, i suggest that you can drop this little index.php in the root dir from h**p://www.bitfolge.de/snif-en.html. It will list your dir content and you can hide/unhide certain ext... but the most important is, it hides the server information Apache/1.3.39 Server at www. cinetsystems.com Port 80 which might be useful for hackers and the like.

Is it me, or all the dates/times wrong on the files on the server?
I noticed the same problem with a similar looking site belonging to custel.

FYI, I fixed the way files display, now the file names won't get cut off, should make for slightly easier navigation.

hello everyone I'm new here but I love what you devs have done with these roms for htc and you are doing great work I'd like to help you out I have a http and ftp server that you could use for download links and such which would be faster then using file planet or whatever most of you are hosting your files are from if your interisted just msg me or email me ^_^ love the work you guys are doing keep it up!! xD

Great. if you can provide an ftp to an empty folder I will upload the file when I get it. If not you can just pm me when you get the file hosted and I will add it to the list. Whatever works best for you.
When the official cupcake drops will it automatically update to that OTA if you are on 1.43 or would you be stuck until you ran the JF Cupcake update?
Just wondering. I will check with my host and see how much bandwidth I am allotted (I just switched hosts).

I have a silly question/suggestion
why don't you use a free file hosting service such as rapidshare and megaupload ?
I have slow international upload (1mbit) but i am on guaranteed channel (a.k.a business account) and have no bandwidth or simultaneous connections limit. The server is rock stable. If you think that such a slow connection can help please reply me and i will provide an ftp account for the update.

Rapidshare and megaupload don't allow you to provide direct links to the file (at least I don't think they do), and he's needing direct links in order to let JF Updater use them as mirrors. BUT, I *think* drop.io does let you copy and send the direct link. I think I have done it...its been a while. I'll test it out.

You might want to delay the automatic update for a few days (if not a week). Let the people who really want the update do so manually (via rapidshare,etc.) and then the traffic consumed but the JFUpdater crowd will have diminished significantly.

More than likely, yes, bittorrent would be a good idea for these. Just so long as there's a true or truely mirrored torrent, and not force us to go searching on TPB or a site like that.

For the last 6 months I've been hosting files for developers in the Eris section. I made the site to people wouldn't have to use all that MultiUpload crap, got sick of the waiting 60 seconds to download a file, entering a verification code, etc etc.
Anyways, the site's worked well. You can direct link to your files, upload everything via a simple web interface.
I just thought I'd offer the site to developers in other forums now.
