Can't find voodoo color?? - Nexus S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey all,
I can't find voodoo color in the voodoo control plus app... anyone an idea how that is possible... I have Air Kernel flashed, which should have voodoo sound and color... only sound is showing up.... please help me, because I'm really curious what it will look like!!
Is it possible that it will never work, because I have an i9023 with an SLCD screen?

Mesmerize has a dull screen/whites aren't white?

Any ideas why this might be happening?
I've compared it several new smartphones and the whites are definitely way off. Blue tint kind of thing.
its the only problem to the amoled display.. try using a voodoo kernel, they seem to fix some color issues

I've compared it to a blank Web browser on an iPhone 4 and the brightness and clearness of the whites don't even come close on this Mesmerize but I know the Galaxy S's screen is just as bright as the iPhone 4 screen, so I doubt it's an AMOLED issue. I feel it's a software issue.
I've made sure the brightness is up full so I believe I'm doing all I can in that respect.

Research voodoo color. You will see it's a known issue on some screens. Personally I don't see it.

I don't see a version available for the Mesmerize.

Of you already know the voodoo kernels have a fix for this them what's your point? Get a voodoo kernel, follow the instructions, and move along.

I only knew about the Color thing after you mentioned it and I then said it doesn't appear available for the Mesmerize.
This is ridiculous.
Just cleaned up a few posts here. Please avoid, trolling type posts.
Thank you.

There are roughly 5 different voodoo kernels available for froyo. A good place to start would be the stickied thread about kernels in the dev forum.

OTB has voodoo color.
MOD EDIT: ***********
The CM7 rom has color correction options that might fix the problem for you.

Closing thread. Unbelievable....

Better Captivate Screen

My friend just got her Captivate screen repaired because it wasn't responding. When she showed me her new screen there were some visible improvements. It seemed a bit crisper and mine was tinted yellow compared to hers. I think im going to go get my screen changed!

Try to get the rogers screen if you do. It says samsung at the top and nothing down by the buttons.
are you running a custom kernel? cuz some kernels with voodoo colour change the colouration of the screen, to fix it up, just download voodoo colour from the market and change the colour settings (only if u have a custom kernel)

It's voodoo control app. It handles voodoo sound and color. Also if you want you can buy the paid version and support a great dev for galaxy s community. If your strapped for cash that's fine too. It's what this beautiful community is for

Voodoo Color?

Anybody know if voodoo color fix is available for the Charge? I would like to get rid of the cool blue.
http://project-voodoo.org/download
Doubt the Galaxy S voodoo color would work for the Charge since we have Amoled+ and all. Let's just cross our fingers and wait to see what imnuts says.
It will work, though it wasn't a simple edit as the files that are changed didn't have all the same methods the files that voodoo color has and makes changes to. Imoseyon seems to have gotten at least some of the voodoo color changes built into the kernel though.
How can we get this? Does someone need to port it for the charge?

13.3 or the new 13.5 that is coming out with gummy2? I am not noticing a color difference between 13.3 and your kernel.

Development on the Charge is looking great! Makes me so excited I got this phone, Gummy2.0 is being released tonight, Cyanogen soon after, OMFGB sometime in the near future & now it looks like Voodoo Color Plus is happening!

Problem with Voodoo Colour

I am using NSCollab 1.0.39 on my Nexus S I9020
I have a Matr1x kernel which supports Voodoo sound and colour
But when I check the Voodoo control app there is no option for colour
I know other people have had the same problem but I spent the last few hours searching and finally found nothing :/
Help?
Thanks in advance

Does the kernel you have already include the pre 2.2.3 colors? If so, you do not get the sliders to manually adjust colors as it is set to a specific color setting already.

If you can't adjust any sliders you probably have a kernel with 2.3.2 color drivers. The color sliders are for users to correct the mess 2.3.3 made. Personally, I'd take that as a win

Voodoo colors for nexus s

Where can i download voodoo colors for nexus s s-lcd??

I think its only available for SAMOLED...
SLCD doesn't need calibration since it doesn't have a tint.

If my memory serves me correct, Voodoo Colors is only needed for S-AMOLED screens.
