First off, I take absolutely no credit for making this ROM, this is a hybrid of JAC's latest ROM and Drizzy's BLUR port. There wasn't too much time put into this, but it works surprisingly well.
What you need:
Same stuff as pretty much as every other Hero ROM,
but I recommend around 90mb for linux-swap, that makes it run
pretty smooth, and I only have a 2gb card.
Known Bug:
Sometimes when you reboot, it freezes on the HTC screen, just pull out the battery
and it will boot just fine.
FYI, I am not a dev so I will not be fixing any problems, I just threw this together:

Edit: Sorry forgot to put absolutely no SMS issue, except any that are available in any HERO ROM.
Does this have the SMS problem on the DrizzyBluev1 has? (can't send?)

Kind of, it looks half BLUR (animations, redish scheme, but you can see 3g icons and EDGE icon) and then JACHEROSKI for the rest of the scheme.
does sms issue fixed?
I personally won't be flashing anything from someone who says that they won't be fixing anything and isn't a DEV....be prepared to be flamed heavily....

You dont have to be a dev to put together a signed package with tested files....it doesnt take a genius to do the sh**t I do. I would be a developers i just lack the time. Now I thought that I would do the community a favor by putting this together so 'n00bs' could just flash it instead of manually pushing all the files in this. And I wont be fixing anything because this rom is pretty damn stable if u must know, y dont u try it instead of bashing it?
so why make a rom u dont really wanna be a part of(meaning u wont update if something is wrong)...why waste the time.. im wasting my time replying to this.

LOL I dribbled a little bit from that one. I agree with that though.
not bashing it at all....just with the animations being easily manueverable and already included in drizzy's rom...don't see the point of creating this ROM ALSO just wait until about 10-20 idiots flash this and blow your PM box up full of "How i do RoOt?? Do I NeEd to WiPe" then you'll see what i was getting at....it's all good....

The only reason I made this is because the BLUR animations are awesome, and I wanted to use the ROM but I like being able to send txt's...That was the whole point. So i cooked a ROM that has all the animations that is stable and has the ability to send SMS.
And I agree, let the haters hate.

One thing that I did notice was the predictive auto correct wasn't working either. Is that something you didn't like? I've tried installing the HTC_IME from different roms but it never gives me the predictive part of it. Just wondering.. everything else looks good. Agreed blur looks good.
i understand that but as we all kno problem do occur sometimes with hero...but u saying u wont fix any problems or issues it seems that it has issues and u choose not to fix them...thats what turned me off...not hating i just wanted to state how i felt..

Um, Drizzy hasn't ported BLUR. He has a partial dump he pulled a few visuals from, but it is far from ported. Other than that though, nice work. I'm sure a few people will find it useful if they don't feel like waiting for him to fix sms. Couldn't you have just done it as a theme rather than a whole rom that you don't plan to support?

i was looking though the touch wiz sys dump and i liked the keyboard so i put it in an update format. Just flash it, i gurantee youll like it. If not just remove it. I included the lwp as well that were posted earlier the lwp from it too, they work great on the phone though, I need someone to test it for me, cus swype is a pain to remove w/o wiping, and i already have all this on my phone. you just need to flash it like a rom. It contains 4lwp and 1keyboard app and their libs...dl the new lwp and kb HERE

no time, sorry. you can rip them out and just install though, just make sure you take the lib files that go with them in your libs folder and the apps in your sys/app or data/app folder.

thanks for testing it and the quick feedback. i stated that it included the lwps in the op. they are from the new touch wiz dump. Ill check to see whats up with swype, just figured id throw it out there for those that didnt see this stuff yet....also, did you remove your old swype completely? or did you not have it? cus its VERY hard to get rid of.....just wondering so i can fix if something wrong.

sorry about that, and thanks.ok, soon as i get home ill post a link to a really sweet htc skinned swype mod. i use the red one in my newest rom, but the green one is slick too. im going to hang out for a little bit, when i get back ill put it up, and just take it out of the other one and ill mess with it, since its a full version.....

You saw something you liked, but didn't test it because its too much work to uninstall what you already have but that's ok because you already have it installed so you need someone else to take a blind leap of faith and install something you "gurantee" they'll like but if they don't that's ok too because they can just uninstall it (which really they can't do easily) but if you want to see what it is in the first place tough luck because you're out and about and have no time to post a screenshot for your own quasi-release?

I strongly recommend that if you want to be taken seriously, you put a little more thought into your release posts. I applaud you for taking the time to share with the community, but frivolous posting of root-level patches without some form of quality control on your part could lead to a dangerous precedent of buggy and/or malicious code being introduced in the same channels.
I know you probably have the communities best interest at heart, but holding yourself to a higher standard keeps the bar high for the rest of those issuing releases to demonstrate an aptitude for solid documentation so people know precisely what to expect from dedicated contributors.

Do you really think i need YOU or ANYONE else to take ME seriously? my work speaks for itself, i could care less what you think of me, but just dont be disrespectful or snotty about it when you obviously have no clue as to what i do, if you say " which really they can't do easily" when you are speaking about removing a single app.I take it youve never been to dev? cus thats what ive been doing for the past 3 days, is working on my last rom. Then when i finish something that takes more than a day i take a break. I am not a developer nor have i ever claimed to be one.i have many contributions to the site,and taken a **** ton of time making sure my theads for them are maintained and everything i work on i support. Not a blind leap of faith, i have many pps that ASK to test for me because i dont have time to when im working. I have a 8mo old and fiance to take care of as well, this cannot be my ENTIRE life(though i might enjoy that)ive been asked permission to port 4 of my roms to other devices, and about 100 pps i talk to on a regular basis,you can talk to that will tell you another story about what I can DO. ? is what can YOU do? and WHY would you be ragging on someone who makes regular contributions to the site to help members enjoy their newest hardware just a little bit more? you want to see more go to hero-cdma and tell me some more about quality control. Alrighty then, here we go. Infinite Cha0s X now up and running. I have decided to do the Market as an add-on due to various compatibility issues some testers have had. I managed to flash in succession: Market versions 2.2.7, 2.2.11, and 2.3.6 without need to freeze the MarketUpdater, or wiping ANYTHING. Not a single force close. However, even trying to flash a themed version of the same one included in the rom (2.2.11) failed for some of my other testers, sometimes not even showing up in the app drawer at all. I know the Motorola stuff isn't as big over here, but was hoping for SOMEONE to notice this. But I think if you could sharpen up the images a little bit to make it look a lot more pro and maybe more minimalist this could be a great theme!

Hey man, thanks for props and constructive criticism. Unfortunately I know of no way to make images sharper, as most of the images are found online, and I don't know any repository of hi-res icons to pick and choose from. Also, my theme came out well before Bruised Steel, just not for the Dx, as I had a Droid 1 previously, but I'm glad you like mine better. I dunno anything about being super professional, as I have no schooling or training in image manipulation, so I had to go with being as thorough as possible. I'm just someone with too much free time on their hands. LoL Anyway, have a good one.

Beyond the Messaging icon and the little + symbol in the dialer picture, I'm not sure what you mean about the images not being sharp? I don't see anything else that isn't at least standard quality icons. Please elaborate.
Maybe they are judging the low res sscreen shots without actually installing the theme....i installed it just to try it and it liked beautiful...but the version I used was one I ported with Wugs...so the 3g icon didnt port directly over to GB that I'm using..... But loved it and planning on doing a re port once Wug updates his porter

Just checked yours out and, you're right, its easy to have "sharp" and "professional" images when you just recolor existing images. Man this forum is full of douche bags!!

To creator of infinite chaos... Ran your theme for a couple days. didn't notice any quality issues with images. looks great keep up the good work.

I have threads, just haven't posted them here, thank you very much! I have never, and will never "bash" another's theme. But, if you're gonna talk **** about someone else's themed images not being "sharp" enough when all you do is change the hue on yours, you SHOULD be called out, IMO! I am "up and coming" and have only been theming for a couple of months now but, I'm just on the other forums most of the time. XDA isn't the ONLY forum, yeah?

(5)No, unless properly ported by a competent developer to match your Razrs build and....... Wait a Razr? Must have missed that memo. (4) Rooting hurts only when your ill-informed and are chastised with an Iron Fist. (3) Rooting is Simple - Download the Ace Hack Kit then search for two hours for the 'Effen' manual which you didn't realize was included in the effen Hack Kit, start over again, and utilizing this most elusive of manuals, do it right. (I really did this BTW) I was told by a scary dude with Fists of Iron that 'The right way is never easy, the easy way is never right.' (If this fails - DO NOT SEARCH - your situation is unique and probably hasn't been answered. Wait for the lady with the diapers, she will wipe your ass for you.) (2) No YOU don't have to root it. Here at XDA - we do everything for you! (1) Install this ROM only after being Iron Fisted, Freshly Changed and wiped - from there ROM Manager, Clockwork Mod or 4ext recovery does the rest.
Please do not read the Roms OP or ORIGINAL POST. There will be no information that will be worth your while there. It's usually just filled with each roms characteristics, specifics, and essentials, tips, tricks, and Do's & Donts, as well as other useless information.

Lol, I love it man, keeps things light - hoping a noob or two or ten may be enticed to give it a shot if its laid back and relaxed. Hell maybe a veteran will find it appealing. Anywho - No worries on this end - I'm no Mod....... Yet.
At least NoSensi isn't sitting with a fat goose egg. I would have cried finally getting a chance to.support a Rom in a big way and No Post were made.... An OP Support thread too? (Thanks again Victoryo, and again....) It's right perfect for now. Next step - ShroomySense, or hopefully NoSensi4G for Inspires utilizing our OTA radio and basebuild.... Victoryo was working on one but there were a few glitches and he is DesireHD. Maybe he will just turn it over to me and he can keep the credit. Guess I better go on and put my phone down for awhile - I've rode this pony long enough.

Lol... Yes - ShroomySense. It might just be a grand aspiration, but the only ROM that is available themed already is Honeysense and that is based off of Stonerk's work. And with Stoners work being so popular - its unique sure, but not exclusive. Now that the OTA is out for Inspire I been dying to do this, or get a start anyways. But ShroomySense would have a very psychedelic vibe. Wolf Imade me a Animated mushroom boot animation that's pretty beastly. That was where the brainchild began forming. Then I thought couldn't a battery meter be a mushroom? And one thing I have Not seen at all is any sort of tye-dye accents or button Mods or, is it possible, Overscroll glow!? What I love about HoneyHD theme is the inverted blue on black - but any colors would look good on black, especially tyedye if it would be possible.
So anyhow, I am getting a laptop that I am hoping isnt too old to run everything I will need to do all this, and actually it should be here any moment. As far as NoSensi goes - my phone loves it. I have actually only flashed once in about a month, that was to give Pirates rumrunner a go. NoSensi has been rock solid since day one. I wouldn't have opened the OP if it was constantly being barraged - and Since V doesn't have an Inspire I'm more than happy to lend a hand. I learn so much helping other people out that its more of a privilege than anything...

dude a rom like that would be epic. I'd be all over it. love everything about it, even though my psychedelic days are behind me. I guess I'm still a stoner at heart though. tye-dye overscroll glow is a brilliant idea not sure how easily that could be implemented though. I cant help but think the buttons would be easier, but who knows I'm just starting to play around with themeing so I could be way off base. anyway great idea good luck with it
edit: by the way if you get a laptop that just aint quite up to snuff, slap ubuntu on it. that runs well on just about anything

Hey I didn't break any themes! Oh - Baroque as in Rennaissance-ish Italy... Yeah, that might work. I could have Bach and Chopin ringtones, and Gaudy exhuberant stylings wrapped in classic art from that Era!

Well I finally figured out what I was doing wrong just a little while ago and finally got these two animations to work. I would post pic's of what they look like but the limitations are preventing me from doing so, (sorry). Anyways, hope you guys like them!
This is optimized for the HTC EVO 4g, but can easily be modified for other phone models.
EDIT: Was bored as hell the other day, so I decided to create a "do a barrel roll" boot animation. Included are 2 audio files, one with a 5 second pause because the animation lags a little for me at the beginning, and one without the lag.
And if you like them/use them, please hit the thank button. It will encourage me to keep uploading whatever I do for you all, (even if making a boot animation is pretty easy, I'd still appreciate it..).
