But yet you're using a different ROM + kernel... o.o
Why do people randomly reserve posts now? And that's a +1 on androidme

There is no "best" rom, but vhgomez's 1.2 for the NS4G is a very good one.
I use Peter Alfonso's 1/2/2011 nightly. Everything works, except for google wallet. I reaally like it, and it's very stable. I haven't had any reboots or force closes

this rom is great! Thanks
Check out ASOP+ with SPeedy 3 kernal, im getting UNREAL battery life, 2-3 days. its crazy!
Nexusbeam for me

I´m using AOSP+ with ICUP Speedy-3 Kernel too. Really stable, fast and best battery life.
The rom is updated nearly daily with good tweaks and lot of stuff to customize.
My 2 Cents...
Big Xie's build is golden, the difference between a ROM from an established, accomplished Developer & those from inexperienced builders are quite evident in this build. Everything works right out the box, clean build from source with Xie's overlay = performance & reliability that can't be attained from a patched together, hacked, drag N drop ROM.

this is definitely not what I was expecting lol, can't believe all these people are able to live with the instability of ICS at it's current state! Maybe I just have hi standards lol. Pretty cool how it is all over the place with which ICS rom people are using! I love our Dev community!

EaglesBlood latest with Faux's kernel. Can't let go of it till the issues are resolved with ICS.

Hello all. This is compiled from cm10 sources. I will be posting new builds as I feel. My captivate's micro usb port does not work and my battery charger stopped working. So I won't be working on this at all, just gonna be compiling straight from cyanogenmods sources. If I can get another captivate or another battery charger. I will be working on this more. But for now just nightllies.

The date in the build is incorrect. It should be 20120718
Great. I know it would be much stable as soon as Nexus S OTA released tomorrow, and I hope you keep updating this thread. Thanks for supporting cappy community.

I got this phone for my mom and wanted to ask what is the most fastest, simple and the most stable ROM for this phone?
PS - I know that this has been asked a lot but just wanted to know what's the latest and greatest
Simplest and most stable is stock.
I've recently gone to CM7.2 and so far I'm pretty happy with it as far as speed and stability

You can get CM from their website cyanogenmod.com
I'm on my phone so I don't have the exact link available.
And I've never used MIUI, sorry

i think that CM7 Last Nigthly works really well to me, on stock kernel and V6 superchager... Go launcher LG UI 3.0 Themed smooth and 16 hrs of normal use...
For speed use CM7 or MIUI, they are both really speedy and pretty stable for this phone, but I feel like MIUI is much faster.
For stability use Stock 2.3.4, except after a while it may begin to slow down but a simple reboot should fix it.
Hope this helped

The p990's cm10 nightly is currently being compiled, this means We should have ours beginning soon as well.

Does anybody know of a dev that said they will work on the port?
Sent from my LG-P999 using Tapatalk 2
Not necessarily. Just that he's a step closer to the G2x being done. Theoreticaly there should only be a little bit of work needed to get it working on the G2x. As well, he will now be focusing on the G2x.

If you follow RC's git https://github.com/rmcc?tab=activity you will see when he pushes the P999 blobs. Judging by the P990, the rom would be ready about an hour after that.
O2x has an official thread now too... o hope we don't get left behind

I was on Github 2 minutes after he last pushed p990 blobs, now it's 2 hours ago and no p999 activity. No joy for us, yet.
