Fastest and most stable ROM for the G2X? - T-Mobile LG G2x

I got this phone for my mom and wanted to ask what is the most fastest, simple and the most stable ROM for this phone?
PS - I know that this has been asked a lot but just wanted to know what's the latest and greatest

Simplest and most stable is stock.
I've recently gone to CM7.2 and so far I'm pretty happy with it as far as speed and stability

You can get CM from their website cyanogenmod.com
I'm on my phone so I don't have the exact link available.
And I've never used MIUI, sorry

i think that CM7 Last Nigthly works really well to me, on stock kernel and V6 superchager... Go launcher LG UI 3.0 Themed smooth and 16 hrs of normal use...

For speed use CM7 or MIUI, they are both really speedy and pretty stable for this phone, but I feel like MIUI is much faster.
For stability use Stock 2.3.4, except after a while it may begin to slow down but a simple reboot should fix it.
Hope this helped

Neither?
Right now, they both have noticeable issues. If studying the forum doesn't lead you to flash something you can't live without then it might be to wait a some more stable build(s).

I"d say Continuum v5 because it feels a hell of a lot smoother and there's not really a real threat if you follow directions i flashed continuum in about 10 minutes and battery life is better than most.
CM7 is rarley updated and isnt even in a release canidate stage yet.

There is no "best" rom, but vhgomez's 1.2 for the NS4G is a very good one.
I use Peter Alfonso's 1/2/2011 nightly. Everything works, except for google wallet. I reaally like it, and it's very stable. I haven't had any reboots or force closes

Check out ASOP+ with SPeedy 3 kernal, im getting UNREAL battery life, 2-3 days. its crazy!
Nexusbeam for me

I´m using AOSP+ with ICUP Speedy-3 Kernel too. Really stable, fast and best battery life.
The rom is updated nearly daily with good tweaks and lot of stuff to customize.
My 2 Cents...
Big Xie's build is golden, the difference between a ROM from an established, accomplished Developer & those from inexperienced builders are quite evident in this build. Everything works right out the box, clean build from source with Xie's overlay = performance & reliability that can't be attained from a patched together, hacked, drag N drop ROM.

Most stable/fast rom?

I am looking for a clean, simple, fast rom with few bugs. Very stable, could be stock. Any suggestions?

It is ported ROM by DMAN. Looks also good.
It would be good if you could flash and use the ROM for some time. Play with the ROM for some time and decide. As this is a matter of choice.
Also check it for getting idea of ROM popularity http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1523357
Good luck

[Q] Best mtd ROM?

Which one do you guys think is the best? I was on erikmm's mokeeOS, but I messed up my IMEI so I had to flash back to stock. So now I'm starting fresh, and I wanna know which ROM is overall stable, has good battery life, and has good performance.

Give mokee another shot. It's got a lot of nice features and battery drain is only slightly faster than VB-FB that I was on before. Not much overhead either...

Right now in trying Louis revenge, which I have to say, I'm loving it Erik, I even have a working O'Neil. But the only problem is that I cant push anything without getting filenotfound exception, permission denied error

I really like the look of ligux but I'm going to do a clean wipe beforehand and ill let you know how it goes.
Also I'm waiting for the next cm update and I'm going to go to that and test out some themes I've been working on

mokee is less miui or iOS looking. There are a couple themes I uploaded to mediafire that I got from the chinese site that are designed for that rom.

Cm7, stock,update,etc

Trying not to beat a dead horse here.... currently running a stable cm7 from last year with launcher ex instead of adw.(rooted) What kind of updates are in the newest cm7 release? Is it worth a flash? The new at&t update, how is that compared to say a custom rom? Looking for a stable, snappy, (with some eye candy) phone. And if I wanted the att update what would I do? Go back to stock?

Flash and see for yourself, as for the at&t update use gizmoe's or flapjaxxx's rooted version in the dev section

I tried Android Revolution HD 6.3.3, which is exactly the same as AT&T's update, plus overclocked @ 1.5GHz. Battery life is good, better than unrooted, though. I recommend it
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Cool. I may change it up a bit. I hate re-flashing so I haven't tried much. But lately either cm7 or the launcher ex has been dog slow. Been waiting to see if they bring cm9 to the inspire.
Sent from my Desire HD using xda app-developers app
Man, I sure hope they do. I didn't like CM7, though, because stock Gingerbread is too plain. ICS doesn't need another skin over it.
Sent from my Desire HD using xda app-developers app
Well, I flashed latest nightly of cm7. Now I really can't wait for a stable 9. I was hoping for a little improvement in update but haven't seen it. Went back to adw cause launcher ex is soooo slow. Cool though. Anyone seen an unofficial cm9 with the bugs worked out?
Sent from my inspire using xda app-developers app
Try installing Jellytime ROM. Its Android 4.1 jellybean. Its actually an unofficial CM10 build.
Sent from my Inspire 4G using xda app-developers app
Thought about that. Jb I heard was a little buggy. Same as cm9. That's why I like waiting for an official unless the bugs in the above mentioned are minuscule. Plus do u have to flash anything extra like a kernal? I'm better than noob but far from expert. I like small risks.
