Hey,
I recently found a good possibility to sync my music with my PC: It's a freeware called Audials Light that I have on my computer and an app calles Audials on my Android.
Both have a function Audials Anywhere that makes the syncing of music and videos pretty easy.
Here's the link to get the freeware: personalmediacloud.com
And the app you get in the Android Market (now Google Play ): just search for "Audials"
Hope I could help you!
I sync with windows media player

Hey guys I got a lot of music in my iTunes library and I'm wondering what are the best apps out there to use to sync with android. I hear about winamp and double twist but never used any of them. What are your guys opinion on these apps.TIA.
You can use MeloDroid. It's a free download for Windows.

There's also a paid app (0.99) that let's you use your Android phone as a remote for iTunes.
Another alternative would be doubleTwist - it works very well, with the optional AirSync-component you may also sync your music via WiFi
Musicbee on windows. Fast itunes-like media player with many functions, like tabs, lyrics and now playing list. Can import itunes library. Syncs playlists to phone. Has functions to auto-get lyrics and album artwork. And best of all, if you use last fm scrobble, music bee has a function to import lastfm playcount into library which helps keeping a global playcount
winamp is really good. free airsync
hi all.
I'm considering an Android based music player device and I'd like to get a music and podcast app that synchronises with a desktop equivalent.
Can anyone make any suggestions?
I listen to music and podcasts on several devices and ideally what I'd like is an app and desktop equivalent that can manage my subscriptions and sync based on whether or not I've listened to a feed item on any device.
Similar I guess to the Zune software but without the frustrating proprietary technology lock and non-standard support.
I know I can subscribe directly to my android handset and sometimes I'll do that but mostly I subscribe via a desktop or cloud and sync to the devices selectively.
I'm looking at Media Monkey at the moment for the desktop app but it doesn't seem to sync with an Android device except as a hardware storage device which I suspect means that whilst it will sync podcast content none of the management will go with it.
Any advice or suggestions about Media Monkey, Winamp, DoubleTwist or Songbird would also be appreciated.
Mediamonkey can sync as mass storage device or as a mediaplayer device but as you say, it doesn't really manage it.
Winamp has a android app but I never checked it as I don't like the desktop software.
I sort of go around.
I use foobar2000 ( the best media player around?) + podcatcher. On android I just use default music player. I don't see a point in podcast manager on a phone.
It doesn't support sync per say, but you can customize to do so.
RMB > File Operations > Copy To > ... There you can customize a profile where to copy. Just assign shortcut to it and off you go.
Hi Guys,
I'm from Brazil and I just bought a Nexus 5 to migrate from an old iPhone 3GS and I'm trying to sync all my iTunes Playlists to the new device, I saw that the Google Music Manager is the simplest way to do this but I can't access the Google Music page from my country. I tried to use a VPN service to enable it but needs a credit card to do the finish the process. Can any good soul download the executable and upload for me? Yes, I google it a lot and couldn't find...
Thanks a lot!
Google Music Manager is great for getting all of your music uploaded to Google Music, but if that's not available in your country it won't be much help to you. EDIT: By this I mean that even if you get the Music Manager to install and let you upload your music, you won't be able to get it back down to your phone.
I would use DoubleTwist

So, are you saying that even if I downloaded the executable program to my PC, I was unable to sync my iTunes songs?

Right, that's not what the Google Music Manager is for. The Google Music Manager uploads songs to the Play Music service. You can then use the Play Music app on your phone to play back the songs. You can download the songs through the app as well, but they are saved in such a way that only the Play Music applications can play them (technically other players can play them, but the metadata is not saved so you can't actually view the song names or any artist/album info).
Just forget about the Music Manager, it's not what you want. Download DoubleTwist on your phone and computer and it will let you sync your iTunes library directly.
Thanks for the answer, I'm already using it.
Hi,
on my PC I use the following plugin in Winamp to play mp3 files starting in the middle and for example only play 30 seconds of each track.
This allows me to skip through a large collection of mp3 files without having to skip each track manually. I hope you get the idea what this Plugin is good for.
The Winamp plugin is available here:

Now I would like to have the same functionality on my Android Device (I9100) because I use it to listen to Music in my car. So far I have not found an app that would allow me to play my music like this.
Does anyone know a app that allows me to achieve what the Intro Play Plugin for Winamp does on a android device?
Thanks!
Hello everyone!
I am looking for a Music app for my Galaxy S6. I have been researching for a very long time now, and still haven't found the solution, so I thought I'd try getting help from XDA.
-I want to be able add music to a folder on my PC and have that folder wirelessly synchronized with my phone's music folder for offline listening.
-I want to have a desktop version of the app that I can use to manage playlists on my PC and have the playlists wirelessly synchronized with my phone too.
I have tried Google Play Music but it seems to have trouble when there are subfolders or when a certain file is corrupted. It ends up not uploading all my music.
Does anyone have any recommendations for me?

I looked into it, but I found that it didn't have a desktop version that I could use to manage my playlists on PC, and I can't wirelessly synchronize either

Hey, half a year ago, I asked myself the same question and I finally found the perfect Player for my and your needs: Google play music. There is also a program for your Desktop which syncs automatically whenever u add music to specific folders. The new Songs are shown on recently added in the app and u can add these Songs to playlists and listen to them offline. If u add Songs on another device to your playlists, they will be downloaded automatically on every device.
Have fun!
Ps: The playlists can be saved on your sd card on your phone. Whenever you delete a playlist on your sd card, it will stillstill be available online to be downloaded. Simple as that, it's like Spotify for your own library
