Hi guys,
I am beginner for android developer.
I have a new phone this is Polytron W7450 which also known as Xolo Q800. This device seem have a 3rd party app that I can uninstall. But when I do factory reset from setting menu the apps is come back and also I can uninstall it again.
But since I install CWM, when I do factory reset the apps won't back again. My question is : Is it caused by CWM ?
And also I have build a custom ROM from CWM Backup I guess its like a original ROM.
In my updater-script I put :
package_extract_dir("data/app", "/data/app")
I think this script will install the 3rd party app. But when I install the ROM from CWM and after install I do factory reset twice then I reboot the device the apps is not installed.
The point is I want to make a ROM that feels like original ROM but I can install the 3rd party app. Please give me a guide

Yes.
Place The Desired apps in /data/app of your rom.
and as the command is present it would do.

Thx for you response Pranto Roy.
But if I put it under system/app then the user wont be able to uninstall it. I wanna it automatically installed when user do factory reset. But they still can uninstall it if they don't need the app.

The best way to do it .. is to reflash ROM.. after wiping clean and backing your apps..
Other way to do it is to to make your apps < 150 mb and delete the script from /system/etc/init.d using a root file explorer.

I think this question has been asked but I search for a while and still could not found the answer.
Right now I have sytem 1: Numa ICS
system 3: Slimkat Build 5.2
Is there anyway I could switch Slimkat into system 1 and let Numa become system 3?
Thank you
No way,You must reinstall your system. System_1 and System_3 cannot switch, but System_3 and System_4 can.

Ok if you want to avoid the trouble of setting up your slimkat all over again in system 1, here's what you do.
Boot into BMM take a data backup of slim on to your sd-card (data only)
Install slim in system 1 (do a clean install)
Restore slim data backup in system1
Now you can install Numa in system 3 (do a clean install)
Hope this helps, good luck.

You should not install bmm from playstore. Or else, you might end up softbrick.

Hi
I am installing a ROM for the 1st time and this confused me.
After installation am i supposed to install BMM from system keeper or not?
I would use system keeper as that's your safest route
Why would someone want to move the primary rom to system 1, is there an advantage?

No. I have Magic Mod on my system 1 right now, before that AICP Homemade and even before that LiquidSmooth.
You should install anything on system 2. Just leave it alone.
Which system app can be removed from cm11? Apps that if will be removed won't make the phone unstable. I mean apps like talkback and stock live wallpapers, play's apps (Moovie, books, etc).

if you're rooted just flash cm11 and minimal gapps from pa. Anything cm11s has you can reinstall as an app

Yeah, i would have sayd that xD Anyway you don't have a list of apps that can be removed from full gapps? I don't wanna reflash the entire rom...

dont think you really thinking this through properly. The time taken to honestly reflash a rom is way faster than removing apps believe me. Also in stock you have to remove two files since its odex file system.
Now with that said you could of just google searched safe apps to remove from system and be done with it but believe me all this back and forth is longer than just downloading pico gapps from pa booting into recovery simply wipe /system and then reflash rom and gapps.... But dont believe me I have only been doing this for like 8 years now...
What?
???
If you have root, you can use Titanium Backup to uninstall system applications.
