Android OS bug - silent killer

When Android OS bug strikes it kills with no mercy
Since i got SGS2 i kept my Captivate as backup alarm for many cycles discharge in couple of weeks recharge ect. no problem ,no apps running in background , phone in plane mode with Cognition rom i get great standby time. Can hold out for weeks, but then, one night, out of the blue BAM Android OS kills it in two hours flat lol
Lesson: don't rely on your phone for mission critical stuff

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that most likely the battery is either getting weak or isn't calibrated correctly. And just whatever is using that last little bit of energy, which, in your case, will always be the android os, is going to show using the largest percent of the battery.

Wife got her Infuse today, now we match!

She got her Infuse today and I quickly rooted it, wiped it and installed MIUI on it. She loves it.

She sent her HTC Surround back saying it would overheat and cut off a lot. (And it did)
So she got the Infuse for free from AT&T because they wanted to make her a happy customer.

Oh wow, your Infuse (and your wifes), look amazing, especially all decked out in MIUI.
Love your case also.
Also, thanks for adding another member to the Infuse team. !

They do look good, maybe ill have to give that rom another chance.

Nice job man! My wife doesn't want to get rid of her iDevice 4 yet. Yet. *evil grin*

For MIUI those icons look hella small >< The one thing I love about MIUI (other then customization) is the fact that it gives us big fat icons. Easy to click for those of us with fat thumbs!

My wife and I rock the infuse too with MIUI loaded on it. My wife is not technologically inclined but she loves the customization that MIUI offers.

I have thata exact case too and miui. Its one of the best phones out there

I have gotten this error on Zeus, Caty, Jetpack, and Galaxian. And not just once! It has happened while doing a variety of tasks, and sometimes just shuts down and goes to this screen when idle. Amy ideas?

....and I am not trying to single out any ROM, or claim they are bad. Just very curious as to what this is! I never seen it before. I am currently back to Sensation 1.1, which this has never occurred on.

Been there, all I find is others with the same issue, but no answers as to what causes it. Strange

I used to get a similar screen on my cappy back in the day .. are you undervolting??

That could be it. Although, it's never occurred on other ROMs. I've been using the same kernel/modem combo (whatever's the latest modem) for quite a while. It's just a strange occurrence.

Some stated it being some apps. Others say gps. And one said overheating. I hope someone can give us some insight on what it can be.

Best Battery Life Rom and How much You get out of it

Hey guys so i was wondering liek a poll on which rom you guys think is the best on battery life
ive used all of them and im currently on revelation with the ics theme
another question i have is does the ics theme drain battery faster or is revelaion just bad at battery

I'm currently running zeus 6 and i can't ask for more.
The battery life is not the same for everyone, it depends on how the sync you have, the widgets the screen brightness, signal strength and others.
My best advice is to do a backup for the system and try every rom.

For me, NumasX has the best battery life of all the roms I've tried. But none of them were horrible.

Personally, I feel that Zeus, Revelation and Aeon are all he same because they are all from UCLB3 base. However, Zeus probably has the best battery. I use CM7 however.

yes. 7.1 has data issue as you all know.. lol 7.2 i have been runing for a few days and seems solid
