Have you tried recovery through LG official programme because that's what I did and it worked brilliantly. I was in the same position yesterday!

My phone is useless it doesnt turn on and i cannot get it to connect on my pc i can only connect it via the omap4430 driver but that keeps conecting and disconecting all the time.. So when i connect it ti the LG's Official program it says no device found and won't continue i think i have managed to brick it will think twice before using cm7 next time....
lg
its worth keep trying cos I did just the same yesterday. I had to uninstall all the LG stuff completely. I then installed it again from scratch (making sure I didn't have that roll back to version 8 fix running). I downloaded the driver with no phone plugged in. I had to plug my LG in with no battery and plugged in whilst holding vol up and power button (it still wasn't detected). Although no driver came up, when I used the recover phone emergency facility in LG it asked me for the IMEI number. I typed it in and it then found the phone and I was able to recover completely. Sorry if you've done all this already but I had lots of gos and it finally worked as I have just stated. I hope this is of some help to you, I'm not an expert but it worked for me.

One time i connected it it said downloading and it lasted a minute and a half before it said fatal error...
Once again, had a quick look through the forum and you can definitely resurrect your phone like this, the pc does not need to see a driver the lg software recovery package will pick it up. Let me know if you have any problems.

if you can't go to recovery then the phone needs to be sent to LG unfortunately,
couple other users had the same issue and they had to send the phone for service.
so i tried what you said but still the phone is not working i will keep trying thanks for all ur help and baracuda looks like thats what i will have to do now since its not working...
Broken power button maybe?...
My power button died - without that button working you can't power up the phone, go to recovery or connect to PC with LG software.
Does your phone light up when plugging into charger? If it does but doesn't actually boot...you may have a faulty and/or broken power button.
If you are in Australia, Evertec (VIC) do the repairs - including postage it took 5 working days to be repaired

I was using cm 7 when i changed cards...

I have a nexus 5 32gb black.I was running on latest omni rom and elementalx kernel.Yesterday night i saw an update for faux kernel and so i downloaded it.Before flashing i made a nandroid backup(system, data, boot and efs) ,wiped cache and dalvik cache, flashed the kernel, restarted my phone and I went to sleep. I didnt actually see if it turned on at that time. Now in the morning when i tried to use the phone it was off and when i tried to turn it on its not turning on. I tried charging but the LED light is not glowing. I also tried to restart by holding power button and both the volume buttons for 20seconds. Still no use

So i contacted google and they said if it doesnt turn on they will replace it for free. But since i am now in India they said i would have to get it to states and i have 11 months since i bought the phone to do it. So i will be sending it this weekend. My doubt is how does RMA process work. This is what i understood
1.You contact google RMA team and they send u a link to buy new phone
2.You buy a new phone and they will take back the old phone.
3.Once they verified the phone comes under warranty they will release the money they held in ur card to buy the new phone
Now here are my doubts:
1.What does 'comes under warranty' include. My phone looks brand new. No damage outside. Its only a month old
2.If they manage to turn it on then will they take the money for the phone they send me. Will i end up buying a new phone? or would they just send the old phone back?
3.Will the shipping of old phone be handled by them?
4.Should i ship the old phone first to get the new phone?
5.How much time does it take for the whole process?
6.Am i allowed only to buy the same model or can i order the red one?
7.Can the original buyer only apply for RMA or anyone with the full box set can?
8.Is the bill required?I only have the box and all the accessories
9.Anything else i should be knowing before doing it?
Thanks in advance
Connect your phone to the pc and see what error it shows.
As per the RMA process I bought my device from Indian play store and know about their process but its differenent from that of the states.
I have a general Idea about how it works in the US but it will be better if someone from there only could explain you further.
.
Anyways if your phone is not gettimg on they would also not be able to detect what happened with it.

Connect it to the pc, keep pressing the power button and then go to the device manager on the pc and see what it shows.
Do you get a notification sound on pc when u connect phone to PC.
looks like a hard brick in ur case but this thing will confirm it.

Hello, I was flashing cm-11.0-XNF9XBS28K-bacon-signed on my opo and something went wrong on recovery, it was like rom flashing went wrong and it didn't happen, so I went to wipe and I'm pretty sure that I selected everything in wipe section, literally everything and hit the reboot button, and my phone won't wake up, no response, tried to press buttons in every combinations for maybe 1 min? My computer won't recognize my phone, nothing happens, no vibration, no sound ;x I think I erased everything, but is it possible to delete bootloader that way? Btw my battery was charged to about 90%.
I tried charging in for about 14hs and nothing happened, phone and charger during this time were cold. I tried to recognize it by Windows 10/XP and Ubuntu but no reponse from phone, so I coulnd't use this magical method with qualcomm port and drivers, and then this Color. Is it really bad hardware brick?
Have you tried this thread by any chance? Hopefully it works. Worked for me when I bricked mine by flashing hydrogen

Can you try long pressing the power button for 10 seconds or more to turn it off. Then long press the power button and connect to a PC and see if it responds

Ok I will try, but I tried before some combinations with buttons and connecting to PC, now I'm testing "dead battery" so 12hrs without touching and 6 hrs charging and then unplug and plug again. But I'm almost convinced that it's something with mainboard I talked to OP and they said that they will exchange my phone If it happened during flashing Cyanogen ROM.
//Still no respond from the PC and phone. Completely dead.
Dont worry, they wont know u had twrp if the phone is hard bricked. Just carry on your RMA process. Good luck...
Today's remote session went as I thought will be, did almost everything as this technician. Now awaiting RMA ticket.

:good: Used this thread twice now and it saved my phone. Give it a shot.
Hi everyone,
I've been on one heck of a journey with this oneplus one that my wife cracked the screen on. I got that replaced and had it up and running except that it was not able to connect to a network. After doing some searching it seemed like maybe corrupt OS or other software so I started trying to bring it back to stock using the Oneplus toolkit. I got it in fastboot mood but then when I tried to exit that and reboot to recovery the screen went black. The only response I can get out of it now is vibrating if I hold the power button for 10-15 seconds. The same thing happens if I do that plus vol up or vol down. The computer does not recognize the phone. I've tried on a win 8.1 and win 7 machine and I did put the comp into test mode for uploading drivers. I've tried the power+volume trick for getting it to show up and still nothing. The last time it had booted it said something like 70 some percent of battery (I know that can be wrong though).
I'm wondering if this situation is one that seems it needs 12 hours of not being touched, 6 hours of charging, unplug and replug or if this thing is beyond repair. I didn't have too high of hope for it with the no service issue but it would be nice to get at least back to where I was for further troubleshooting. Can anyone point me in the direction of getting a computer to recognize this or tell me what I'm doing wrong? Every other thread I've found people say "Oh it just recognized it suddenly" and I'm not getting that lucky. Thanks for any assistance you can provide!
Ben

Hi all!
Today during connecting my Honor to the charger, LCD suddenly turned off and now I have a paperweight.
Phone is not responding to anything. I tried holding power button for about 2 minutes, I've tried all Hard Reset button combos ant still nothing.
It's weird because when i plug the phone to the PC, windows in some way see it, because there's a sound of connecting new device. Moreover, once phone was connected to the PC I tried to make hard reset combo and there was a sound of connecting and disconnecting the phone.
I've never tried any custom roms or TWRP's on this device. The 380 software build was running on this phone very well for about 4 months without any problems until today.
Guys, please help me!
PS
Sorry for my english
Might have to use your warranty if you have one.
Hardware problem. Better take advantage of the warranty.

I woke up around 1am tonight to a glow from my wifes Zenfone 6. Wondering why I looked at her screen to find the ASUS logo glowing fully bright like It does upon start up.
Thinking this is odd I tried rebooting it but every single button is unresponsive. I tried holding the power button down for around 30 secs, nothing.
My wife wakes up wondering what I'm doing then tells me her phone updated around 11am that day.
So it appears the ASUS pushed update has potentially stuffed her phone?
Her phone is a totally stock ASUS Zenfone 6.
Ideas on fixing? What has happened?
Cheers.

Yes.
I waited for the battery to die and after charging the phone powered up. It lasted 12 hours before suddenly shutting itself down when the wife was changing settings to pull the time from the network.
Now dead as a brick. Charge light no longer lights. Totally unresponsive. No amount of power button/volume button combination or time will do anything to make it work again.
Pretty pissed off as it's 1 year and 16 days old and has already been sent back to ASUS to have the charge port fixed after it stopped working.
I do not know what to do now except push for a repair under warranty.
As a last resort you could try this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-6-2019/how-to/guide-unbricking-zs630kl-t3998767
If that does not work I guess warranty would be the only option left.
Thanks for the link. Unfortunately the phone is totally unresponsive so I have no idea how steps involving any sort of power up can work.
PC also doesn't recognize the phone when plugged in to the USB port.
Could the USB power board have failed again?
If pc can't recognize the phone, you ran out of options. Anyway check device manager on windows just to be sure that it is not recognized as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" device at your Windows devices'. The proper guide to try to fix your state is this one: https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-6-2019/how-to/qdloader-brick-t3980165

Nope nothing showing. Completely stuffed which is why I'm wondering if it's actually the USB power board again or if it's the main motherboard.

There have been issues with few units doing bootloops and not recovering; and Asus had acknowledged it as motherboard issue with the few early units that were made. You could get it to a service centre and get a free motherboard replacement.
Thank you @homerlovesbeer for your description. Very similar to my phone which is now also dead as a brick:
Recover files from bootlooping Zenfone6
Dear all, from the occasional reboot my Zenfone performed every now in a while (which didn't bother me too much) it now reboots so fast that it usually has not yet booted to the point where I could get data off the device before it reboots...
forum.xda-developers.com
Will send it to repair. I bought it 10 months ago.
EDIT: Small correction: Pressing all 4 buttons while it was plugged to a PC, the charging light lit up for perhaps 20 seconds. Unfortunately not reproducible.

I'd love to however I'm in Australia and their isn't an ASUS mobile service centre in this country. I've tried reaching out to Taiwan but the language barrier makes it hard.
No joy so far.
I will RMA mine tomorrow. We'll see how it goes. Except for that issue, I really like the device.
