Yes go to Rom manager and scroll down and flash touch recovery. And next time do little research before posting question because there is always answer in the thread.

Will do. Now I think i messed up the phone.
Followed this instructions
http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile/how-to-install-clockworkmod-recovery-on-samsung-galaxy-s-i9000/
Now my phone screen is freezed , it shows Galaxy S GT-I9000.
I thought our Samsung Infuse is pretty much the same as the Galaxy S I9000.
Is there I way I can flash it back

I searched the forum and found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1092021&highlight=stock+rom
Finally I was able to restore it back to stock.
I got one question but not sure if this is the right one.
Phone is rooted and installed Rom Manager. Once I clicked Rom Manager, it asks me 'confirm phone model'. I don't see samsung infuse on the list but only
Galaxy S Fascinate , Vibrant, Captvate, Galaxy S4G, Si9000. Which one I should use?
I tried to be nice, but that's what I get. You're just not getting it. Post your questions in the Q&A. There are many people there that will be more than willing to help you out.

Sounds peculiar for sure. Refurbished is highly unlikely. Even at Bestbuy if a brand new phone breaks they don't have refurbishes available for a while.
what to do with my vgs3....
Try a factory reset
Go to recovery
There should be an option there I think
Vol up+home+power
Also should be in q&a

This should be in Q&A, but I don't blame the OP for not posting it in there. This whole merged forum is a mess. This thread would have just been lost in all of the other questions.
GThread moved
Questions never, ever belong in Development, no matter what the reason. I understand why it's done, but it will not be allowed to stay there, sorry.
Sorry didn't know not to ask questions there. I bought the phone new at the Verizon on launch day. I thought it ment unlocked bootloader, at least it did with my HTC Sensation. Wasn't sure if anyone else had that or what?

Then you need to review the posting rules for Development. If you didn't create it, it doesn't belong there - questions belong in Q&A. Sorry to belabor the point, but there are far, far too many questions being posted in Development, particularly by Verizon customers.

What's wrong with our CWM?

I figured this'll get more attention here.
So when I'm in CWM. Sometimes it says.
Back menu are disabled. Or something like that. Then I have to wait for it to fix itself. Anyone encounter this as well.?

no, cwm6 isnt the touch one, theres a separate code source for CWM Touch. but there is a beta CWM 6 for our device, just USB host doesnt work. its in the original CWM flash, towards the last posts. I'd be absolutely thrilled to get CWM Touch though
me, too.
I'll look into it.
yes cwm 6 please i jus asked hat in the dev section, please if u know someone, port that over for the blaze

[Q] How To Root Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G SGH-T769 on Linux?

I got Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G SGH-T769 (it comes with Gingerbread). My goal is to get Cyanogen Mod there, so first I planned to root it and use CWM to install a CM. But I need to do it on Linux, so all the instructions found around suggesting using Odin don't help. So far I found Heimdall and installed it on Debian x86_64.
But I'm not sure what else is needed to actually root it. I found some examples with some "one click" methods, but that's not helpful (since they are for other models). Any advice?
Thanks.

Phone goes into recovery (3e) instead of download mode.

Title says it all. Any ideas why it is putting me into recovery mode instead of download?
