[Q] Please help ! - General Questions and Answers

Ok I installed ICS on my Xperia X8 but the problem is that when I reboot my phone I can't enter xRecovery I didn't look at the installation instructions about ICS so I installed like this:
I put the zip in my sd card
I rebooted my phone
I made a full wipe
Then I installed ICS
I found a thread on the the XDA forums on how to fix the xRecovery bug on ICS (that I can't enter it) but when I connect my phone yo my computer It doesn't shows me to mount my sd card.
How can I connect my phone to my computer whit ICS on Xperia X8 ?

[Q] Where is ALCATEL OT 995 issues thread?

Hi guys,
I'm looking for a thread about ALCATEL ONE TOUCH 995, which talks about rooting and installing a new ROM issues.
I'm not new to these tasks since I've already rooted/modded Xperia X10i, Samsung galaxy S2, Nexus 7 a lot of times so I know I've looked quite enough for a solution, that's why I'm asking here for some support
To summup (but Not too many details here since I may not be in the right thread), I can't understand why this phone is so stubborn: I can boot into CWM, I can mount and unmount everything I want.
-> I formatted up to 10 times in a row /system, /system/apps, /data etc... everything I could format or wipe, indeed...
--> I tried to install some custom ROMS -> symlink failed, or couldn't format /system, errror while formatting /data ....
I even succeeded to launch aroma installer to install ICS H1N1v5.8a ROM ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=37117723 ) without any error , BUT: ----> after reboot, it was exactly as if I just did nothing... nothing erased, nothing formatted, just like before with GB 2.3.6, same wallpaper, same apps installed etc.....
So!
--> Do you know which thread deals with this kind of issues?
Thanks a lot!
[EDIT] Alright I found the Q&A thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=456

(Q) I pulled a noob with MultiROM and Android "L".

I don't currently have a computer I can back up my files to, so I didn't want to flash the L factory image to fix my "no sdcard" problem. So, me being a doof ran the "restorecon /data/media/0*" on Android L on Terminal Emulator. Before I had realized that technically, I wasn't on TWRP, I was really on MultiROM and the directories were different, I couldn't boot back into any of my ROMs because I keep getting the error telling me that the kernel I have installed is not k-exec compatible. I have attempted to flash MultiROM over again, install FK, and even Code Blue kernel to no avail. I've also tried a few other things, but yeah here I am.
So, my question is...is there a way to reverse the command, or correct it for MultiROM so that I don't have to use adb to flash a factory image and wipe out my pictures, music, etc.
Please post in the L thread

From http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-j-e/development/xperia-e-tools-t2841797/page2
First of all thank you Ambychy for this thread thus helping noobs like me.
From your thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-j-e/development/xperia-e-tools-t2841797
I have downloaded the following :
Xperia E ss stock Deodexed Rom.zip + Xperia E Dual stock Deodexed Rom.zip
Im TOTALL noob at flashing ROMs (especially remote-wise via usb).
I manage to root my ("Xperia E C1505", I belive was called) through some youtube video advice...
Some Indosiean (I think) modded rootmaster thing. Whatever... I had too because for some reason I could not get Frama solution to work, but this did....
So anyways... Now Titanium and all that worked.
My problem is :
I managed to screw up my phone. I certain its hardware-wise ok...
Long story short = its stuck at "Android is updating" forever and ever until I psycichally remove the battery.
I cant back into it. software-bricked.
I removed too much from the ROM as I had faith in using Titanium to restore my saved system-apps.
First making them into user-apps and removing them that way, later on leftover odex-es in "system/app", all dalvics and
whatnot whould do it. To lastly finish off with "make phonereset" via normal "settings"...
I was stupid...
After removing most, and about to reinsert later on via TB, I took a wildcard and removed "Home" aswell.
It was stuck in an infinite loop of pressing ok on it as it kept saying "blah had crashed" without ANY gaps in between at all, leaving me no choice but to reboot and sending a prayer I at least come back into it to continue restored sys-apps via TB.
So i belive i must use some remote PC program to reflash it...
So what program for my PC do do you recommend I use?
(and it even more kudos to you if you can direkt me where to grab it).
I also got a 4 GB external memory.
Perhaps putting whats in the zip onto that via another phone, then moving that external back into my broken one might do the trick?
