Hm.. I'll recommend five things. Firstly, I'd recommend the Q&A section, as I see that you posted in.
Secondly, I'd recommend looking at the posts that come up when you make this post.
Thirdly, the search menu. I know, they did a good job hitting it in on the top.
Fourthly, I'd recommend looking here, which you would have found if you did a search. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18669986
And Finally, I'd recommend hitting the thanks button over there. >>
But seriously, who am I to tell you?

There's a thread in development. I'd link it to you but I'm using the app and can't get the link. Title is something like: [mod][kb1] Six lock screens.

Thank you. Just one more help. Do you have any guide on how to deodex a captivate running official KB1 ROM with voodoo lagfix injected kernel on it? I did the Google search but don't find any useful info on how to deodex. Thanks

I am at the same question Antonyvijai.
How can I put this on my phone (AT&T 2.2 KB1 Froyo + Root + Supercurio's KB1 + Voodoo + CWM Recovery)
If I need to deodex, a link to a how to would be awesome!
Question 2, does flashing this mod remove any themeing I have installed?

Absolutely. Having a guide will help us a lot. Last thing we need is an hard bricked captivate

Ok, I googled the phrase "deodex android".
It looks like the 3rd result is a HOW-TO (it is titled that anyway). So I am off to read this! I'll let you know what happens later.
I still need to know if flashing this mod will wipeout my matted blue theme!
Thanks!
UPDATE:
I read the link. I am going to try this, however, I do not have the time right now (have a "real" job I am late for already!) If anyone tries this, post here to let us know the result!

I said thanks because finally I know how to google hahahaha good one ..when there are multiple links on deodexing with creation/update dates going back to 2010 (when we didn't have official froyo) I don't take risk because not all ppl here in this forum are as smart as ppl like you!

That I know / understand now! So, won't have that question anymore. In the adb shell command I see it is referring to ext3. I flashed voodoo lagfix injected kernel and somewhere I read it changes it to ext4 or something like that ..is it something I need to watch at least or it doesn't matter too! Also, do you know any other method to deodex? Like through a root app...

OK – I know this sounds ridiculous but I’m getting ready to flash the Infuse with a custom ROM but I want to save a couple apps for the new ROM.
Is there a way I can selectively save these stock apps on a SD card (before I flash) and reload them after I flash (and where does AT&T/Samsung have them stored)?
Thank you guys, you all do great work and we all appreciate it.

May I suggest getting acquainted with the XDA forum first.

There are items at the top of each forum called stickies. They're articles that everyone should read. Read the ones at the top of the general and development forums.
You should familiarize yourself with Odin, which will allow you to flash a ROM with CWM. Check out the Bible.

There is also Heimdall (for win, mac, and linux) which uses the same protocol as Odin (loke), but is open-source and is not leaked unsupported software.
There is a lot to read about. The point I'm making is we can type the same thing over and over in this forum, but most of what were talking about is in a sticky thread.
Lol thanks guys but I am no noob I just feel like one. I had a vibrant for 6 months and was a daily flasher. Just having trouble with clockwork on the 4g.

Hey guys.
Loving the MIUI Rom that I just downloaded, best UI I have seen to date.
One small thing though, not sure if anyone has experienced it, but I play Dragonvale, and for some reason, it simply doesn't work properly on the Rom.
When I open it, the screen gets all messed up, and that particular app, out of all the one's that I have, doesn't work.
Anyone experience the same thing?
Thanks!
Try Settings < Developer Options < and check in "Disable HW Overlays."
That was happening on a different ROM I was using. However I don't have MIUI but if it were my ROM that would fix it.

You sir, are a gentleman and a scholar. Worked like a charm.
Thanks
Ok one more thing. I'm pretty sure that this has been answered on some other thread, but goodness me is it ever hard to find it.
For the MIUI Rom, i don't seem to be getting LTE, as I did before I'm with (rogers).
Anyone know why?
Thanks!

Hi guys, great forum btw.
I have an ainol novo8 discover, (a supposed quadcore ipad mini alternative)
I really need a new rom for this device as the stock firmware is terrible. However search as I mite I can find nothing.
The device is rooted and using es file explorer I tried to remove the bloatwarw, to no avail, uninstall unsuccessful is what im greeted by.
My first question is how do I uninstall these apps? I have dissabled them through settings-apps but I want them gone completely.
My second question is where do I start when working on a new rom for a device? Please note that ainol have yet to release the source code for the ainol discover.
Anyway guys thank you all for your time and patience, and please be aware im a newbie to all this so please do try to simplify your answers.

You have to give some time for people to reply lol, check out Rom Toolbox, you can uninstall everything is you want.
in the upper right is a box "Type to find your device" put your device in there and it will take you to your phone, from there you can access the info you are looking for.
Fair point, sorry.
Just very frustrating device.
Ainol havent released there firmware yet anyway so I guess theres no way of creating a rom without it.
Thankyou btw for mentioning rom toolbox, with that es file manager and a factory data reset I managed to get rid of all of the bloatware (that I know of ) off the device.
