Does it show the charging symbol on the powered down phone when you plug the charger in? Maybe your power button is broken.
Make sure you are using the AC adaptor to charge and not a usb cable.
Nope, nothing atall :-(. The only indecation its doing anything is that the battery is getting warm.
Try this with both of your batteries, separately:
1. Remove battery from phone.
2. Wait for 5 minutes.
3. Put battery back in and connect to AC adapter (not usb)
4. Wait 5 minutes.
5. Press the power button.
6. Re-try 1-5 with the other battery.
Same thing happened to me... it seems the phone is not recognizing the power adapter.. ARGGHHHHHH
If anyone as fixed this, please let me know!!
You may want to give this tool a try, see if it does anything.

Hi, did you find a solution to this issue? my nexus S won't turn on.
It's getting warmer when plugged in, but it has no indicator of charging, nor is the power button working :S
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi
I would start a new thread since this is one year old....
But please give more information:
Are u rooted or stock?
If rooted, what recovery, what ROM, what was happening prior to issue.. etc.
The more info the better for readers to help give advice.
Good luck

So my phone just started freezing randomly and rebooting now out of nowhere I can't turn it on at all. Tried battery pulling and getting into recovery. Nothing works at all. Also, plugged it into the wall charger and no LED light or anything. Seems the phone is absolutely dead. Was running OpenSensation ROM at the time with 3.32 FW. I know this is a reported problem with Sensations. I can't seem to find a resolution (if one exists). Does anyone know what I can try? Although I can't do anything with the phone when I plug it into my laptop via USB the PC sees it as QHSUSB_DLOAD but the driver cannot be found. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm desperate here! Thanks in advance!!

Hi,
Have you tried posting HERE
Ok, this is really weird...a few hours later phone turned on...it was like nothing happened. Now, a few hours later phone freezes again and turns off and now I can't turn it back on again!! What is going on here!?
This will solve your problem: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1622683
I don't recommend the paint or soldering.
Thanks for the suggestion but this did not help at all
So I just put in my insurance claim through Asurion...No Sensation's in stock so they're sending me a Galaxy SII ...I enjoyed my Sensation but I guess it's time to move on now.
Is there no way to recover?
Hi. I'm a noob and I'm experiencing a very strange (possibly problem) with my Desire S. When the battery hits 1%, it switches off but I can switch it back on. Once it's ran out, it doesn't tell me anything about the battery but doesn't boot. When I plug the charger, the LED flashes orange for a minute or two then switches off. I tried reconnecting the charger and the phone instantly switched on. I don't know if anybody else is experiencing the same or a similar problem. I am currently using PACman v22.0.0.
Hello Folks,
I have been using cataclysm rom, april's stable release on my nexus 5 for past 2 months and it was a perfect companion.
Since yesterday though it has started to reboot, and only the google logo comes up and it again reboot's.
When I unplug the charger though the phone stops rebooting and is as good as dead. When I plugin, the reboot loop continues.
Currently I am unable to use my phone, and any help would be great.
My doubt is if the battery has gone very weak, and is unable to support the boot process, but even though I keep it charged for a significant amount of time, the same isssue happens.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Hi,
It seems to be a power button issue. It being pressed permanently is causing the issue. Rammed the phone a lil softly on a surface on the side of power button and the phone was back to life. Need to get the issue fixed, need to see where and how.
If the phone is plugged in, it should be able to boot. Some time ago i had also a problem related to battery (so i thougth at the time). My phone was charging very slow and wasn't capable to boot if i had the phone turned on, so i had to turn off the phone and let it charge for about 30 minutes before it could boot. It turned out that was a problem with the USB connectors. So i cleaned the USB entry and everything was fine again.
Hello. I have a very frustrating situation with my Tab2 P3100 as it will not charge when it is on. also, usb storage does not work. the computer does not even know its plugged in as no error message comes up.
device does charge when it is off, but charging takes forever. more or less 9 hours for a full charge.
my tab2 p3100 has cyanogenmod 10.1.2 since mid of 2013 and has never encountered any issues. im still using the original samsung charger. it may not be a cable issue since the tab charges when it is off.
any suggestion or ideas will be highly appreciated.

Most likely the cable/adapter is faulty. You might wanna get it replaced :/ It happened with mine and replacing it did the trick.

Try changing the ROM.
All latest builds on Android 6.0 are super stable. Try them out.
Least I could think of would be Battery issues as you've stated it takes hours to charge. That's a clear sign n time to replace it without damaging your device any further.
