iam just newly Buy a (HTC EVO3D) With HBoot (1.49.0011) Android Version 2.3.4. Software Number 1.22.707.3. Baseband Version 10.55.9020. I'm calling for your help because it seems my HTC Sensation XE's girl friend is now in a bad situation
First error : ICS update through OTA was proposed and installed so it's now in HBoot 1.27.0000 Locked bootloader and S-ON because I did not had time before to put it S-OFF / SuperCID / rooted when she was with Gingerbread.
Second Error : tried to unlocked the bootloader with HTCDev ... pretty useless it seems and ICS is now not booting anymore.
Now I have the phone that seems to be in a bootloop at each start, can't install any HTC RUU, it gave me Error 155 every time, I have 4EXT Touch Recovery which is still accessible but what to do with it ...
As I can't install any custom rom due to S-ON and locked bootloader, I would like to come back to the HTC Official ICS at least so the phone would be useable but I don't know how as the RUU does not want to install ?
Anyone who have any idea on how to unlock the situation please ?
Precision : I also have an HTC Sensation XE, so I was wondering if I could try to restore an nandroid backup of my Sensation ? I think this is not possible or at least things needs to be changed to restore it successfully ?

My wife's Chacha has been ota updated to 1.54.401.3. Result was broken wi/fi connectivity. Phone is however s-on and locked. So, I decided to s/off it and root etc. But, htcdev utility for unlocking bootloader does not work, since the latest supported version is 1.54.401.2.
I've tried to install RUU European 1.33, but without success (also tried with the gold card) .
My idea is to downgrade it somehow in order to s/off, root and install custom rom, since she had a lot problems with stock ones, but i am stuck. Any help would be much appreciated.
my wife phone does have problem with connection phone calls
Didn't root or any stuff (she does not need it)
Now all hell breaks....

I am in your exact same situation. My wife's phone seems to be an HTC Europe phone and I too can't unlock it because it has been upgraded automatically to 1.54.401.3. Did you manage any progress?
+1 Here. Chacha is rooted but s-on. Does not want to unlock again via HTC website, and unable to unroot.

I have followed (successfully i think) this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1705913 to Downgrade and S Off my HTC IS.
I have a couple of questions.
1. I can not install ICS via OTA update. Is this because my HBOOT is now is now on v 1.13 and need a later version?
If so how can i do this?
2. Is S-Off the same as Radio-Off? My phone now acknowledge my SIM card "new SIM card detected", however I still get no service / signal from my network. How can I fix this? Do I need to Radio-Off or is there some other method?
I'd be very grateful for some help with explanation...

Problem, unlock code does not work applied from custom rom (CM7.1) needs to be applied from stock rom as told by unlock code site.
Boot Manager failed to install my stock nandroid and other stock rom i tried (RUU Saga H3G UK) to SD card with "..error building boot.img.." or so.
Not sure why. Now the idea is for someone willing to help with fully working Saga to try and install "RUU Saga H3G UK" stock rom to sd card with boot manager and upload the succesfully built resulting rom+update.zip somewhere for me. Also if anyone had similar issue or can suggest a workaround for the problem are very welcome to contribute. Thanks.
