I wondering if it was possible for the widgets on the lg revolution to also work on the g2x?

I think the Bloater G2x edition somewhere on XDA forums has the LG widgets you're looking for.

Good luck with that bro, not sure if the source code has been released yet, but its reminiscent of the MIUI fancy widget.

well you could try MIUI, or CM7 (all in the development forums) but my FAVORITE AND MOST RECOMMENDED ROM is virtuous unity sense 3.0 if you haven't already. yes, i know it's sense, and i understand you hate sense, but really, you HAVE to try it. BEST and FASTEST rom out there for the MT4G, and lots of mods for it too. you should really check it out.

Royalginger 3.0
Or
Miui
Use the demon speed kernel.

I've never been much for the whole fact that "its uncostomizable" and that's all I have ever heard about sense... can you explain to me if it really is limited? Because I like the open-ness of CM and such. I'll give it a try as I probably will all of them. Just kind of wondering what I would get into with this sense rom?

it actually is very customizable. check out the mods thread in the development section for virtuous unity.
there are many themes, tweaks, mods, and if you don't like any of them, you can always make a mod yourself using the UOT kitchen.

Alright.. my interest is actually very high, can u run other launchers from the market on there?
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 using xda premium
We don't do best Rom threads as they only lead to flame wars. A search would have should you this.
No one can tell you what,Rome you will or will not like. Try a few and make your own mind up.

hey everyone, just signed up for xda so here this goes. i am getting a samsung infuse later today, and i was wondering if there is a theme to make it look like the htc inspire. if so could you name it and maybe post a screen shot? thank you
A Sense theme for the Infuse? Nope. You'd better dust off your themeing skills and jump on it!

Hey, dunno if this is in right section, but is there an ice cream sandwich ROM in the works? this is a buying factor.

ICS source code is still not out. Once the source is out, it will be a few weeks before Cyanogen puts out anything usable. Then it will be another few weeks (at least) before a Triumph ROM is ready. Don't expect ICS on the Triumph until January at the absolute earliest.

Yes, seriously. Why I buy my phones and what I would like to have on them should not be relevant to the answer you (didn't) give me. /rant
Thanks for the estimate on when it could arrive. I appreciate that.
Sent from my LG Optimus V running Sense 3.0
It should be updated around April....
Edit: But we might just get gingerbread, hopefully it will be ice cream sandwich
And this is all assuming that we'll actually have someone to develop it for us.
One of these days, companies will figure out that offering a sizable prize to individuals who can develop ROMs (instead of doing it in-house) might just make development go faster and make it cheaper too.
Until then, I'm sure lots of apps will be released that helps emulate its function.
Dream on. We don't even have GingerBread yet.
What is the most stable ROM out there then, and how stable is it, not including the stock ROM?

Any major bugs? I used miui on my old fascinate, it ran like a charm, but after a while it kept FC'ing the Google framework and all Google apps. never found a cure.
