Hi!
I need a camera app, that can apply custom frames on the photo. I mean, it can read a partially transparent png, and put it on the screen whil i compose the picture, so i can see the result before take the photo.
I'm in hurry!
Thank you!

Hey
The thing is like that
i take a picture with my Nexus s (using AOKP milstone 4)
the picture is high quality no jpeg Artifacts took in the day light so there is no noise
i was happy with the picture so i wanted to put it as a contact picture
but when i get a call and saw the pic presenting in the incoming call screen
it was lower quality with jpeg Artifacts,
how can it be solved ?
its a phone and the contact and all phone realeted stuff should always look at best
Hi,
Any cropped picture with be distorted when expanded.
What worked for me was this:
My normal camera has 14 Mega pixels and when it is cropped and expanded it looks better than the stock 5 Mega pixel camera.
So if u want a better quality picture for ur contact then crop the picture on ur computer to what u want to show on ur contact so when its time to select the contact picture u can select the entire photo in ur gallery that u just cropped on ur computer.
It takes a little time but it works.
Good luck

When I take pictures of a sun scene with my Galaxy Nexus, using the panoramic mode, the light is not uniform so the picture looks horrible (See attached).
Is there an app which uses constant exposure, or something to fix this?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA
...nothing?
Info that might help
Hello! I haven't used the feature but I know from the making a panorama "rules" that you have to keep the same exposure in all 3 pictures that you plan to combine. There is huge difference in the amount of light(with and without sun) in the 3 pictures and on automatic mode the camera is trying to compensate in order to correctly expose the picture. Therefore you have to find the manual setting of the exposure and keep it the same for all 3 or any other number of pictures you take for the panorama.
Might help...let me know
It doesn´t work that way, it´s not a combination of three photos, the phone takes lots of them on a single movement, and then it builds the image. The problem is that the camera regulates the exposure automatically, there´s no manual mode.
Anyone else having these problems:
(1) blurry photo's - I have removed the sticker and still get a lot of blurry photos. Sometimes it could be due to me moving the camera but most of the time I try to hold it very steady. I get the issue with HDR, Sport, and Auto modes. I did some research on this and tried chaning some settings but I still get the problem a lot. Some full sun photos look great, but way more blurry photo's than I would expect (coming from iPhone 3GS as a reference). I have these settings for past couple weeks:
PhotoSize: 4128x2322(16:9)
Burst Off, FaceDetect Off, Metering CenterWeighted, ISO Auto, AutoNight Off
Antishake Off (I think this was On and still had blurry photos so tried off),
GPS Tag Off, Review Off, VolumeKey Camera, Timer Off, WhiteBalance Auto, Exposure 0, Guidelines On, Flash Off, Voice Off, ContextFilename Off, ShutterSound Off
(2) edited/cropped pictures (from the Gallery) are saved in PNG format, why not JPG!?!? Did I miss an option for this somewhere?
(3) I use yahoo mail, occasionally I share a photo from the photo Gallery app to email (from the s4 to my email account). After receiving the email, I cannot view the pictures in the yahoo email webpage or on the computer after downloading them from yahoo). Same for JPG and PNG. Windows Photo Viewer says "Windows Photo Viewer can't open this picture because the file apears to be damaged, corrupted, or is too large". In the stock S4 email app, I have the Default image size set to Original. What is going on???
(4) Pictures are not rotated correctly when viewed in Windows (browsing DCIM folder directly from Windows). Is thi camera or Windows... this is frustrating that this type of issue still exists in the camera world with all the sensors.... the image should not need to be rotated! Is there a fix for this?
I did some searching and I see some people have crashes with the S4 Gallery app... I have not had that problem.
Thanks!
Another problem
(5) in the Gallery, if I use "Set As" to set lockscreen wallpaper from a photo I edited with the Gallery edit feature.... it won't set to lockscreen. I wonder if it is because of changing images to PNG???
I tried going into Application Manager and clearing cache and defaults for the gallery.... same problem.
My picturers rarely come out blurry, and I can set pictures that have been edited as my lock screen or home screen wallpaper...unsure about the whole yahoo email thing as I don't use yahoo. And I don't see the big deal of edited pictures being saved as PNG instead of jpeg...than again I'm not a picture snob so I wouldn't know the difference.

I have problems with the galllery it freeze every time it look that now that i change the rom it was fixed. But the camaera is not really 0 lag
I need some assistance -
When I take a photo with either the stock HTC / Google 4.2.2 camera or the fixed zoe camera (from Magio), any zoomed picture shows up all messed up, with pieces of the framed photo scrambled, as well as green rectangular areas on the screen.
Any ideas?
thanks,
Dan
I took a couple of panoramic photos but didn't realize that the motion panorama setting was turned on. As such the file size for the photos were quite large (30-50mb). Is there any way to convert the photos to a non-motion one so the file size isn't so large?

Is there no option of "Save as image" or export ?
Can vaguely remember something like when I've done it
No options in the gallery app or in the file explorer I'm suing (Solid Explorer). The motion panorama photo is still in JPEG format.

Try to find the picture/movie from your camera: Start the camera, click on the tiny icon of the last picture you took and swipe until you find the correct one. In that you should see the Save photo option.

I've tried as instructed. The only options I see when I get to the picture is a "more" in the upper right of the screen (options include: rotate left, rotate right, details, slideshow, set as contact picture, set as wallpaper). And on the bottom of the screen the other options are auto adjust, share, edit, and delete.
Hmm... I guess there aer enough apps to remove exif information. Maybe those work to remove all extra info.
