[Q] Looking for a functioning ENG Hboot - HTC Sensation

Ok so today I updated my firmware to the newest ICS via the pmg zip in the ARHD thread and proceeded to flash ARHD 6.2.1. Non XE. Once I got those loaded I went to flash the radio file from the thread. But not thinking about the fact that I lost my ENG Hboot. Once that dawned on me I reflashed the 1.17 ENG Hboot. This sent my phone into frozen state at the htc quietly brilliant screen. So I get into fastboot manually update the radio without the phone properly booting and reflash the firmware update. Now my phone is working line a champ. But is there a working ENG Hboot out there for the beta ICS devices? If so where can I get a hold of it?
Thanks for the answers and reading my long winded story to get to them.
Sent from my ICS HTC Sensation.

Closest thing I think is fw 3.24, hboot 1.27 with functioning fastboot in this thread:

[Q] why doesnt is work for me?

Hello everybody. I have s-on but hboot 1.23 and my hboot is meant to support firmware 3.12 but when I tried to run roms on that firmware, ALL of them got stuck in a bootloop even though I flashed the boot.img file for each of them and did a full wipe. Is there any solution to my problem?
well simply u need it s-off now it lloks up and signed rom while u use an custom. follow this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192300
is a very good guide used it and worked for me.
I can't soff now because I have hboot 1.23 and revolutionary does not support it.
how did you get the 1.23 hboot?
anyway.. find a ruu for your device and go back to gb. s-off then
I can't all of the RUU files give unknown error:155
Try then updating to the 1.27 revolutionary if you feel brave enough
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio using Tapatalk
Or extract the rom from a ruu and flash it as pg58img.zip
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio using Tapatalk
that's the problem, hboot 1.23 is utter pathetic and shoddy, it can't flash any firmware files whatsoever or do any advanced fastboot commands such as :fastboot update PG58IMG
I didn't put hboot 1.23 on, it came whilst i was trying a firmware for a rom.
Extract the full rom from a ruu and put it in the root of your SD card named PG58IMG.ZIP and go into boot loader. It should downgrade you to gb... Then you can s-off with revolutionary

If only, hboot 1.23 cant update any PG58IMG files, it checks that they are there, then says parsing and reboots hboot.

How to get eng S-off

Before everyone jumps all over my a$$ and directs me to a "guide", here's the situation.
I ran the revolutionary S-off tool once before
Somehow I am now "SHIP S-OFF"
Revolutionary S-OFF tool won't run (I think because I'm HBOOT 1.23)
I've searched and searched but I gave up. Does anyone know what to do from here?
Try ur original ruu

Just flash the firmware from one of the two threads in development. Both have options with hboot 1.17 eng s-off I think.
Have you superCID?

If you intend to run ICS 1.17 is no bueno. You can just flash the 1.17 h boot. It's in the development forum.

Thanks for the help. I'm sure it has been covered many times before.
I don't want to paint myself into a corner, so tell me if this the right order of things:
Flash 1.17 HBOOT
S-off
flash original RUU
Boot up and flash new radio for the ROM I want (Revolution HD)
flash new ROM
Can I cut any of these steps out?
I can't flash firmware until I'm S-off
Cant S-off until I go HBOOT 1.17
I flashed the 1.17 HBOOT and it said I was CID:11111111
After flashing firmware 3.32, it says CID:TMOB010. WTF? Do I have to SuperCID each time?

Are you checking from fastboot with adb or terminal? Terminal will show your original cid. Fastboot shows your actual cid. I only ever had to super cid once and I flash firmwares all the time.

[Q] About downgrading HBOOT to 1.17

I have a question, how could i downgrade my HBOOT to 1.17 and if i do, if i restore my nandroid backup of my stock gb, will i loose my root? And custom recovery? And will that restored backup contain the software version, ruu name, radio and firmware and kernel? Thank you very much. And is it safe to have different ruu when you're with CID 1111111?
I followed the SUPERCID method of flashing thats why im on CID 11111111 i just want to make sure and verify if my stock rom was asia or wwe_asia.
Any response would be greatly appreciated. Noob here.

I have done this, when I send back my phone for repair. You can download the 1.17 firmware here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1459767 and flash it. If your on ICS now for sure it wont boot after flashing the 1.17 delete the firmware file PG58IMG.zip from your sd card (put your sd card on a card reader ), coz no other way from the phone you can delete that. Make sure you already have your nandroid backup, after deleting boot again at recovery then restore your nandroid gb. then you should be able to restore your gb.

You will be rooted same as you were when you performed you Nandroid backup. If you flash RUU you will lose root and custom recovery. Your radio, ril, and kernel will be what they were at the time of your backup. You don't need to doSuper CID again if you already did it once.
Here is the thread with all of the h boots and guides. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1459767

Okay, since you're currently running ics you should flash the h boot from 3.12 firmware in the link I posted previously because it contains the 1.23 h boot which runs both GB ROMS and ICS ROMS. Download a 3.12 firmware, you have already done super cid so any will work. After you finish your download extract the contents and locate the h boot. It should be PMG58IMG, place it on the root of your sd csrd. Now boot into downloader. Remove battery, replace it, hold vol - and press power it should see the PM58IMG zip and ask if you want to update, choose yes. When it finishes reboot you phone. Now reboot into recovery and install your backup. After you are back to your GB backup you can either remain on 1.23 h boot, you'll still be s off, or flash the 1.17 h boot in the link I posted above.

If your backup is of your stock ROM rooted, check your software version after you reinstall your backup. Then go to this thread and you should be able to find your RUU.

I extracted the h boot PM58IMG zip only when I downgraded. Don't worry your radio, etc are in your backup.
H boot 1.23 runs GB and ICS. 1.17 only works with GB.

Hboot 1.17

Hi all,
I am currently running on Hboot 1.17.1111. I had actually flash a coredroid rom, ICS onto my phone, without realizing that i need to flash my hboot to 1.27.
My phone was formerly flash on the gingerbread version. The rom was installed successfully but my phone now keeps restarting at the splash screen. I tried to look for solutions around to update the hboot with 1.23 then to 1.27. However, i am unable to install them. Is there any solution to this?
Thanks for the help
Pm your way put in sim card power volume down don't touch phone till u see ring will flash from and firm all in one shot then u can flash what u want

why would you update to 1.23 then 1.27...from my understanding of it, all you need is 1.23 hboot to flash to ICS and 1.23 can also run any GB roms as well, whereas 1.27 can only run ICS Roms
i tried to update to 1.23 but it doesnt work as well.
oh well, i thot that i need to update to 1.27 for the rom flash

Hboot 1.23 is firmware 3.12 and that's outdated ics roms. All the new ones use 1.27

how do i get my pyramid back to normal?

i've been trying for about 7 hours now (no joke) to get my phone fixed
i'm pretty familiar with rooting/hacking/ROMS on my droidx and if anything went wrong i just plugged in the phone and SBF back to stock - simple. i assumed i could do that for the sensation but that is obviously not the case.
my first time with the sensation i got the bootloader unlocked/cwm installed/installed CM9 and got stuck on the CM9 loading screen. i think i never got the s-off to work, but didn't realize it.
last 7 hours have been spent trying all kinds of things to get it back to normal but nothing seems to work.
i am now stuck on the green htc logo at boot every time
i can currently access cwm 5.8.0.9 / fastboot
fastboot shows:
***unlocked***
pyramid pvt ship s-on rl
hboot - 1.27.0000
radio - 11.23.2504.07_m2
openadsp-v02.6.0.2226.00.0131
emmc-boot
jan 13 2012,17:33:34
i know how to use adb/access the fastboot from a command line
i have htc sync and htc drivers
i have one x all in one kit
i've tried a couple of RUU but they didn't recognize my device
finally got an RUU (RUU_Pyramid_TMOUS_1.50.531.1_Radio_10.56.9035.00U_10.14.9035.01_M_release_223976_signed) to work but i got an error telling me the device could not be recovered
i just want to get the phone back to stock so i can start over and try again!
any help/leads would be greatly appreciated.
I'm not 100% on this, so get another opinion, but since you have the bootloader still, try to attain S-Off using the wire method.
Edit: Scratch that, you need a stock rom that's rooted for it. If you can boot CWM, restore the nandroid backup that you hopefully made. If not, make sure you wiped data/cache before installing CM9. If you forgot to, wipe them and reinstall CM9. There's also a guide floating around about installing and booting custom roms with S-ON that could help you out.
Since you have the official ruu Rom. You will double click on the ruu and since HTC Android Phone ROM Update utility pops up, you'll go into c:\Users\yourUser\AppData\Local\Temp and you'll search rom.zip. You will put it on the sd card and rename it to PG58IMG.zip and you will start your phone into bootloader, and when it asks, proceed with the update and you should be fine.
