I'm trying to use Boot Manager and after trying to boot into an ICS Rom, my phone freezes on the splash screen. Has anyone had Boot Manager work on their Inspire?
Use "force large boot.img" in settings.
Found that if I used the ICS Rom as my phones Rom, then I can boot to another Rom.

I can get in to the recovery screen and the fastboot menu (although the computer can't detect the device in fastboot). I don't know how it was bricked because I got it like this.
I've tried flashing a proper ROM cyanogen mod but that doesn't fix it. When attempting to boot the phone it gets stuck at the ROGERS boot screen permanently.
Maybe try another machine/cable?
Magic is 32A, cyanogen mod is for 32B. Flash this file as a normal update.

I suppose that you've make a backup before your install. In this case, reboot in bootloader, select recovery and restore your backup.
and if you haven't backup.
Before reboot in recovery by the bootloader, in your sdcard insert your rom and this tools :
FULL_WIPE_1.5_EXT4_DS.zip
CoreDroid_EXT4_Format_Utility - DS.zip
Reboot in recovery by the bootloader, use by install a zip, FULL_WIPE_1.5_EXT4_DS.zip on first, after CoreDroid_EXT4_Format_Utility - DS.zip, after flash your rom normally.
ummm..i know tht i can resolve it by reinstalling my rom, i was looking for some way in which i can correct this without doing tht...thank you though...
I tried to flash CM7 onto my G2X and it is stuck on the boot with the LG logo and the blue lines in the background. I need to get past it. Also it wont boot into recovery mode. Thanks in advance for all and any help
Follow the instructions on this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1248644
Once you have gb 2.3.3 installed try to boot into recovery, if it doesn't work, flash recovery again (using nvflash of course, not through rom manager). Once you get CWM working, flash CM7 again.
I recently went through the efforts to install the rom and kernel for the SGS2E4gT. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1514665 this one here, now, I can get it to install, boot, run, everything with no problems, but what I want changed is that after installing the CWM EL26 the phone boots with a gt-I9100 under the Samsung Galaxy S logo. I want to remove this and set it back to the regular boot screen without CWM as the default boot recovery. I've tried useing the auto rooting tool to install a different boot image and fix the logo, but every time afterward the phone won't boot to the system and I have to start from square one.
Does anyone know how to do this where that rom will load with the proper boot image
Anyone, please, I've been at this for hours
I've gone through every option I can think of now, if theirs anyway to just change the boot image that shows when you first load the phone I'd be happy with that.
