I suppose that you've make a backup before your install. In this case, reboot in bootloader, select recovery and restore your backup.
and if you haven't backup.
Before reboot in recovery by the bootloader, in your sdcard insert your rom and this tools :
FULL_WIPE_1.5_EXT4_DS.zip
CoreDroid_EXT4_Format_Utility - DS.zip
Reboot in recovery by the bootloader, use by install a zip, FULL_WIPE_1.5_EXT4_DS.zip on first, after CoreDroid_EXT4_Format_Utility - DS.zip, after flash your rom normally.
ummm..i know tht i can resolve it by reinstalling my rom, i was looking for some way in which i can correct this without doing tht...thank you though...

I was excited to try out the latest release of the ARHD 3.6.8 and can't wait to flash it on mt HTC sensation to replace the ARHD 3.6.7. There comes my problem.
After flashing the new ROM, I uninstalled some apps from the root directory and the result is as follow:
1. The phone cannot be booted normally and stops after the beats audio screen.
Wifi and juice defender icons are showing.
2. Phone cannot be powered off using the power button.
3. After powering off by removing the battery, the phone cannot be booted into
recovery mode. (I have the recovery files backed up to my PC).
4. I am stucked and need HELP.
Thanking someone out there to help me to restore my phone.

So, Ive used many custom roms and decided to try to go to Virtuoisty ICS - So, first step - flash the new PG58IMG, which I got from the Dev Links and I had my information and downloaded the right one. Now Its flashed but every reboot starts the HTC white logo and then it reboots after about 10 seconds. I cant get into a regular recovery since the file is on the phone and the only thing it will let me do is flash the file again ....
Any ideas?
Thanks!
how do you know it flashed correctly? after you flash it, make sure to delete the IMG file
-remove sd card
-turn on phone holding volume down
-insert sd card
-go to recovery
-mount usb, delete firmware zip
-flash roms or whatever you want
-hit thanks button
The issue was I had my old ROM on there - So I flashed it - but it couldnt boot into Andriod and it kept rebooting, so I couldnt delete the flash file.
I Think I got it - I pulled the SD card and I could actually use the menu to get into recovery, where I flashed the ICS rom and Im in ...
Thanks!
i can only boot a rom when i choose the recovery option from the bootloader. its the newest possible bootloader.1.14.005 i think.if i want to install a rom i have to go to the bootloader, then install open recovery with fastboot then reboot the bootloader , then reboot to the newly installed recovery wipe everything , install the rom, power off.boot into bootloader load the kernel with fastboot, then restart the bootloader an then if i want to boot in to the rom its just stays on the logo with the red warning, so i taught its a brick but then went to bootloder and chose recovery - this way is boooting the rom.
Please could someone explain it to me - is that the way to do it for now???
Tried to install open recovery from goo manager its says installed but its not, still boots the rom instead.
It sounds like you're flashing the boot image into your recovery partition instead of into your boot partition.
You are the man .Thanks ))
I installed the Pac-Man ROM for my lg p500,earlier today. I wiped data/factory reset, wiped battery stats and dalvik cache before flashing the ROM.Once I flashed the ROM, I flashed Gapps JB light and then used a baseband fix zip file because my phone is on v10c. (I couldn't upgrade earlier as my computer wouldn't recognize it,even after installing all the required LG drivers.) Then, I booted. It was working like a charm.
Afterwards,I realized I hadn't flashed a file called INT2EXT4.exe. I thought it wouldn't make a difference and anyway,flashed it.
To my horror, the bloody thing doesn't go past the second boot image now. All I see is the Pacman boot image. I tried to boot into recovery mode ,but the buttons are simply unresponsive. (Power+ home+ upper volume rocker) . I'm on TWRP 2.2.0.
Please help me.I've hardly installed 3 or 4 ROMS,till date.I'm not fully aware of the dynamics of this yet.
Regards,
Suraj
try home+volume rocker down+power. It should work.
INT2EXT4.exe? Why .exe?
home vol down power is fastboot for me. if you can get there then use shinobisofts recovery flash tool for windows to reflash a recovery. boot into recovery and flash a rom.
not sure why one would think to use a windows EXE on a linux OS...
your phone isnt broken fully. DO NOT GO THE KDZ ROUT YET!!!!
I'm assuming it's the latest Pac-Man and, if that's the case, it's a 4.2.1 ROM and most of the Int2Ext scripts won't work with it.
You need the fixed 4.2.x version which you can get Here.
A little tip though: Get the script out of the zip, or open the zip and browse to /system/etc/init.d where the script is located. It's called 40int2ext. Open the ROM in WinRAR, Zip etc (don't unpack it, just double click it) and drag the script into the same place: /system/etc/init.d and just click OK at the dialog that opens, dont change any of the settings.
Then flash the ROM like that.
Next, and I don't know if this is essential but I had a bootloop by not doing this first, boot into the ROM. Then reboot to recovery and flash Gapps and you should be good.
But above all, as savagephoenix says, you haven't bricked your phone. I've done the same thing and you shouldn't have damaged your recovery partition.
But it's Home, Volume DOWN and Power to get to recovery.
What is pac man rom? I see that allmost every phone have their own rom with pac man...
