I tried to flash CM7 onto my G2X and it is stuck on the boot with the LG logo and the blue lines in the background. I need to get past it. Also it wont boot into recovery mode. Thanks in advance for all and any help

Once you have gb 2.3.3 installed try to boot into recovery, if it doesn't work, flash recovery again (using nvflash of course, not through rom manager). Once you get CWM working, flash CM7 again.

Ok, I rooted by Droid 1 with soup or route and that worked fine.
Installed ROManager and Clockwork, that worked fine.
DLd Lucid ROM and got stuck into a bootloop with that.
Finally booted into a back up from clockwork (don't ask me how, i genuinely don't remember).
Now i cant boot into clockwork.
When i try it boots into the triangle warning screen ( as if it were a partial brick) and i vol+&Picture and get into Stock recovery. Click reboot and boot back into the same ol' stock, albeit rooted Droid.
I tried to reflash Clockwork to no avail.
Any ideas? or am i SOL on custom ROMs?
Thanks!
EDIT: I am still new here! so if this is in the wrong topic please let me know thanks!
try the three button combo
I have spent the past three hours trying to find an answer but I was unable to. Please forgive me!
I've been trying to flash CM7 on my phone. It is rooted, and recently I installed the leaked Android Gingerbread 2.3.5 update.
I am unable to boot it into recovery mode. The three button press doesn't work, and nor does using Terminal Emulator to reboot it. (When I use "reboot recovery" as a command, it stays on the Samsung start up screen and starts up normally). I've also used ROM Manager, and rebooting it into recovery from there does not work either.
Am I unable to flash this ROM because I have updated it to 2.3.5; do I have to restore it back to Froyo to flash this ROM? How can I get it to go into recovery mode?
Thanks in advance for your help! Much appreciated.

Those are stock leaks unless you flashed one of the rooted/deodexed etc. leaks. Flash a GB Kernel from the Super Thread in the dev section to get red CWM, thats the easy way to get recovery. Just scroll down to kernels and pick Infusion GB, or Entropy's DD etc. Use SGS Kernel Flasher from the Market to flash the kernel. Then try flashing CM7.
Once that's done, recovery is the 3 finger trick as usual.
Also remember when flashing CM7, it takes two flashes to get it to boot, so after the first you will boot loop, pull battery and flash again. Good Luck! and hit the thanks button if I helped
So I flashed ICS using touch recovery..I then tried flashing another ROM and some how I lost touch and went to basic cwm..ROM worked n
Which was Megatron..tablet eventually did a reboot to recovery and got stuck in a recovery loop. I was able to cold boot through rock..I tried flashing jb and now I get even cold boot..just stuck in recovery loop any suggestions
same as the other thread next to yours - what did you use to flash the rom after you flashed ICS?
try and see if you can get your Tf into apx mode when you connect it to your pc.......if you can then i would suggest looking at one of the tools to Nv flash a base rom and recovery and start again.
have a look HERE and remember to thank T.O.D if it gets you out the shizzle.
Hi, hope someone can help out with this.
I originally tried to flash a ROM to my phone that was not for the I727, and the flash failed, so I decided to recover to stock. I followed (carefully) the steps to recover to stock and eventually got Odin to flash the stock ROM. I was unable to flash the ROMs from the links provided, but when I tried the K0nane link, it PASSed. But, after doing that I cannot boot into recovery, and when I turn the phone on it's stuck at the splash screen.
I can still get into download mode and Odin recognizes the phone, and I can flash the K0nane ROM, and I've done that a few times now with the same result.
Where do I go from here?
-UPDATE - I just tried again...was able to flash the K0nane rom through Odin. When Odin rebooted the phone it just stays on the splash screen. I waited last time for 20-30 minutes, with no change. Hoping I did not mess up the phone beyond recovery.
Pull battery, boot into recovery, factory reset.

Like I mentioned, I can't boot into recovery. It shows the 'Galaxy' text screen, then just goes black instead of going into recovery.
I think I\m on the way now. One thing in the troubleshooting list I hadn't tried.....try it on a different computer. Tried it on my Windows 7 laptop and it worked. Now going to try again to install cwm and custom rom.
Okay, so I rooted my LGG2X and downloaded Eagles Blood ICS build, and flashed it via rommanager, this was my first time doing this and I didn't think I would brick my phone but I did. It's stuck in the boot screen everytime I turn it on, it goes past the LG logo and stops at the Eagles Blood logo then the screen goes black after awhile. My biggest problem is, the phone WILL NOT boot into recovery, i've tried and tried. The vol up and down and power button all at the same time and NOTHING happens. I also tried to get back to STOCK using Nvflash but it just wasn't working for me. Can someone please help me? lol im stuck using a non android and it's absolutely killing me

Rom manager doesn't work on this phone. You have to follow this method to flash cwm and then you'll be good to go
