Hello Guys,
I recently got a new galaxy s 4G, and its branded as T-mobile. 1 problem is that it does not read arabic properly. I used to have such problems with my nexus s but I used to install a zip file in CWM and the problems gets fixed. Can anyone please point me in the right direction of fixing this?

Try using the Hebrew ROM. It has Rtl support though I'm not sure about the language pack.

Android Native Arabic Support!
This link above may be the file you flashed in CWM. The developer says it "Support(s) all firmwares and all roms" and he "provided the code to do it manually."
You may want to try it!

im uploading a new version, i didnt change much
i just added wifi fix
and i added wifi tether
im using Hofo kernel it should be fast enough.
i didnt test it yet, cuz im about to sleep here is the link:

I need an Arabic rom too ... but i prefer to wait for HTC to support Arabic .
I think It will happen soon because HTC signed a contract with STC in Saudi Arabia to provide Android phones.
In the mean time I`m using ArabicKeyboard App. from Google market to send and to read Arabic SMS.

Hi everyone, my english isn't so good so you'll have to forgive me.
The thing is that I want to "extract" the touch keyboard app from the stock ROM. I've a SE sk17a and it brings a touch keyboard app quite similar as the older phones (not qwerty)
Well does exist any tutorial? I've been looking in the forum but I didn't find nothing.

Sorry if i'm in the wrong place, but i need to know if there is any form to chance the baseband from europe to latinamerica, i got an GB rom from europe the latin version doesnt exist, can i use a baseband from froyo?

Go to settings,then go to locale and text...then change the language...find locale nd text option with the symbol if it is in diff language

since i couldn't ask my questions in that thread i am posting this thread, please notify if i am in the wrong place
now the questions and requests
I need to use persian (farsi) language but using this rom the letters are separated like this (ف ا ر س ی) instead of being like this (فارسی), so is there any way to sole this problem?
to install this rom completely there is a need for a script manager, i donloaded one but goes force close in the middle tof the operation, where can i download a good script manager? pls note that i cannot download from google play store
how can i uninstall this rom and go back to my original rom?
my main problem before installing this rom was low space for installing apps which was solved but now i face another problem which is farsi language explained before, so can i have its kernel only? or any other solutions?
the quick panel in notification bar is great but it's 3D and i don like the look, any way to change that look?
how can i change the fonts?

plz note that Persian is a bit different from Arabic, it has 4 more letters (گ چ پ ژ), also i must add that my stock rom had no problem with Persian language (my cell phone was bought from Saudi Arabia), and i have nandroid backup, is there any way that i go back to my stock rom?

I've a Canadian Samsung Galaxy Q(SGH-T589W) and due to some problem, I updated the ROM and my bad luck that it was a the US version(T-Mobile) of the ROM and now there are multiple problems such as:
-No File manager
-No wifi
-Phone keeps blinking
-Many apps don't work
In all, if anyone can give me a link to the stock Canadian ROM (SGH-T589W), I'll always be thankful to you
Searching google did not help, but of course might have not looked at the right places. Please, please help me

your sure its not a SGH-T589R? theres the stock rom for the T589R here http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ but cant find a T589W

Thank you Trozzul for getting back!
Unfortunately it is T589W, it was running Gingerbread and after updating it is currently running Froyo
I have the source of SGH-T589W from "opensource.samsung.com" and I don't know what do to with it
If everything fails, could you point me to some appropriate thread where I could stash out relevant files from the source?

So after finding the stock ROM, Odin gets stuck after SetupConnection
I've tried changing USB ports, using a hub,using a different computer, using different versions of Odin, running Odin as Administrator, plugging out the cable and yes the phone is in downloading mode
Any help greatly appreciated!

Anyone? Please help! Is there any way I can reinstall the Wifi drivers on Froyo. I have tried *#*#526#*#* but the driver loading fails and when i try to select a new channel, it just crashes!

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I think I'm experiencing the exact same problem that you had. Do you remember where you found the stock ROM? Or, even better, do you still have it stored somewhere?
It'd be an absolute life-saver!
