The thing is that I want to "extract" the touch keyboard app from the stock ROM. I've a SE sk17a and it brings a touch keyboard app quite similar as the older phones (not qwerty)
Well does exist any tutorial? I've been looking in the forum but I didn't find nothing.

Sorry if i'm in the wrong place, but i need to know if there is any form to chance the baseband from europe to latinamerica, i got an GB rom from europe the latin version doesnt exist, can i use a baseband from froyo?

Sorry but, how can I do that? I already know how to back up the ROM but it isn't the same, is it?

I am using HTC Magic/G2 and it is using original HTC Chinese rom. becoz i am a newbie on Android system(previous is use wm machine), so i am very confuse when read the flashing and modding. any buddy can help to ans few question?
- I want to gain the root access and install app2sd application. I read few post that say need to flashing new rom(or some parts?). Does it will replace my chinese rom? HTC original hand writing system and charset is important for me.
- any starting point for andorid moding?

I think everyone has their own preference. But to instal is either flash it using recovery or instal it like apk I guess..

hey guys, im new here and i was searching for some cool themes, but yeah.. just like the video said: IM A NOOOOOB!
so .. i need a bit help. i just saw that there can be "ROMS" and "APK"... (i hope i got that right) and yeah. i dont want to change the rom cos i still have warranty.
So im lookin for a simple design (like GingerThyparancy - Transparent Gingerbread) as .apk!
maybe somebody can tell me what i have to look for when i want designs as .apk-file.
btw. does the .apk need root?

You can search in google play(market) for sense 3.0 skinsAnd no apk's don't need root.just go where you put them using a file explorer and install.If you download from market they install on their own

I recently got a new galaxy s 4G, and its branded as T-mobile. 1 problem is that it does not read arabic properly. I used to have such problems with my nexus s but I used to install a zip file in CWM and the problems gets fixed. Can anyone please point me in the right direction of fixing this?

Try using the Hebrew ROM. It has Rtl support though I'm not sure about the language pack.

Android Native Arabic Support!
This link above may be the file you flashed in CWM. The developer says it "Support(s) all firmwares and all roms" and he "provided the code to do it manually."
You may want to try it!

Your device has nothing to do with original galaxy note (if it's really fake), so you can't flash notes roms to it.

its not only the language it has many chineese programs inside the memory that i cant take them off because they are not in the sd card.
Maybe if i put a new rom it will be better but i dont know which because if a fake galaxy note
Use rom toolbox to uninstall them

I've phone (S7100) from China (photo in attachement) and I looking for the right ROM - I need reflash it. I tried sam ROMs (6820_2.3.5_c910_hteng_s5_en_4.0_v01_Mod and 6820_2.3.5_c910_hteng_s5_en_4.0_v01_Root) but after reflash the screen is displaced and touch screen doesn't responding.

I hate to tell you dude, but you're not going to find much support here on xda for knockoff chinese android phones. There are simply too many, and often do not come with all of the files necessary to root/build a custom ROM for them. Sorry.
