Satisfying audio output
The Samsung I9103 Galaxy R did quite well in our audio quality test. The Tegra 2-packing smartphone wasn't particularly loud, but it was almost as clean as we have seen them come.
Finally Audio test that i want ..

The earphones will definitely work....but the mic MAY give problems...though it should work fine as it is compatible with Galaxy S.
Galaxy S i9000 and Galaxy R i9103 are not wired headset compatible. There are two standars for the connections in the jack plug, OMTP and CTIA. Galaxy R is CTIA. Also iPhone btw. If you use the wrong headset you won't head anything good, just a distorted signal, and probably that is not good for the amp.

BUT I've seen googling around that actually the EHS64AVFWE is being sold in some places for the i9000 and, in others is advertised as being compatible with the Galaxy S3 i9300, which also follows CTIA.
Yes it works
I know its a bit late to reply here, but in case if someone else need an answer to this...
The EHS64AVFWE headset comes with Galaxy Note which has built in mic with 3 buttons: send/receive, volume up and volume down.
I purchased this headset recently for my Galaxy R and I can confirm that it works 100%
Hi,
Hope it's not a very late reply.

Hello
I cannot find any information on audio quality (while listening to music) on both devices. Do you know if there's any comparison? GSMArena tests showed that the performance of One S equipped with S4 is quite impressive, I wonder whether S3 is somewhat close to that.

Don't think there would be any difference in audio quality

Has anybody had a better experience with headphones on an amp better than the samsung vibrant or any cell phone with the headphones as a benefit? Is there anything better than the vibrant galaxy?

I think that Sony's Xperia phones have much better headphones than any other brands I could try, with deep and clear basses, good mediums, and minimal sound distortion. I think Sony's headphones are also more comfortable and isolate from outside noise better. Their Walkman application is actually quite good.

If you're talking about the DAC, there's nothing better than the Wolfson DAC in the Exynos chipset on the Galaxy S and Galaxy S3 i9300/i9305 (not the S2).

As a "don't buy" advice, avoid the ZTE Grand X phone: it sucks at music. I bought one and gave it to my brother because the bad quality of output sound.

I really liked my HTC rezound combined with Poweramp. I rooted my rezound and installed CyanogenMod 10.2 rom with Aroma Beats and Poweramp and it was fantastic. The only downside with CyanogenMod Rom was the battery life. But it depends on what you mean by loud things. I usually listen to music with headphones so that was what was great about that phone. The speaker on the Rezound was loud but not as clear as my HTC ONE that I have right now.
Morning all,
So I recently got a Galaxy Note 3 after owning a Xperia Z1 and Galaxy S4.
My question is compared to those two phones I noticed the Note 3 on Youtube the hd videos seem worse in quality then the other two phones :/
In the meantime I downloaded hd movie trailers to the phone and they seem better and also if I watch ultra hd samples on youtube they r amazing on the screen?
Will the pixel density of this phone make a difference to the quality? The S4 and xperia are 441dpi i think and the note 3 is 386 . . . .
Any insight or help would be great folks
