How to install Khmer Unicode on HTC myTouch 4g - myTouch 4G General

Instruction:
1. You need to root your phone first, please follow this instruction to root and unlock bootloader (S-Off) your phone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPIn_XZkI8U. This will work with Android 2.2 or 2.2.1 only if you are on Gingerbread 2.3.4 pleas downgrade first.
2. Flash clockwork mode in your phone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4QViSam2og
3. Learn how to flash custom ROM to your phone here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPIn_XZkI8U
4. Back up your phone in ROM manager.
5. Use Titanium backup to back up all apps + data and use Super Backup to backup sms, contact & call log (these apps are free and can be downloaded via Android Market)
6. You will need to download Custom ROM either Cyanogen 7.1 or MIUI to use Khmer Unicode. CM 7.1 http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?type=stable&device=glacier
or MIUI: http://dev-host.org/kozlw9j9my8f/MIUI.us_glacier_1.12.16_Eng_Deo_ZipA_Signed_TDJ.zip
7. After you flash either of this ROM please download this one: http://ubuntuone.com/7NUVkI862sTvgu5A14bbJk and put it in your SD card. Flash it via recovery the same as flash ROM.
8. Use ES File Explorer / Root Explorer to delete DroidSanArabic & Hebrew in System/font then reboot.
9. Install Khmer keyboard: http://www.mediafire.com/?9g7sxho1bjacyjg
That’s it enjoy!

What's so special about this keyboard. Also why can't you publicly post the required links?
If I helped, give thanks, if you please.

[Q] Help me flash a rom?

Alright so, i rooted my phone using superoneclick method. I want to flash Smooth Maximus ROM GingerClone v1 onto my phone, i know i need CWM but i cant seem to install it. I tried following this guide :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1124453 , but android commander tells me my phone isnt rooted. What now? Thank to anyone who attempts to help me.
Android Commander has a known issue with recognizing the SK4G root method.
Follow the same instructions, but use something like ES File Explorer to push the recovery from your SD card to /system/bin instead.
exactly what my post was on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1236567&page=2

[q] cwm p1010

Good Night Guys! I'm Brazilian so sorry for poor english.
I read about the CWM to Samsung GT p1010 on the another forum, but I didn't find the file and the tutorial, so can anyone help me?
Thank you very much!!!
First thing I would try is doing it the same way it's done on most phones:
1) Install ROM Manager from the Market
-----If you don't have market access, you can download it to your computer, connect to your computer, and copy it from your computer to your device.
2) ROM Manager is fairly self-explanatory. There's a button: "Flack ClockWorkMod Recovery." You now have ClockWorkMod, if it's supported by your device.
Thasks NType3,
But after the install, when I choose backup rom, the backup and restore options don't appear.
On the XDA Developers forum, the user skin1980 post that develop a compatible version (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1386643), but I don't know where I can dowload it...

and as i know you and joby both are successfully installed CWM from Chinese ROM aren't you?
so as a suggestion please include that tutorial in this post just in case..

Thanks. there are 2 models of funbook p300 and p500. most of the posts are for p300 since p500 is relatively new. As you said it is stock rom but after rooting and with the help of romtoolbox pro, I have removed most of the applications including educative lessions. therefore I wish to have a device as it was given at the showroom.. I hope you got my point.

Install ICS on Blaze 4G through CWM (not actual flash file, Backup Only)

OK, so I just want to make everything perfectly clear:
I DID NOT MAKE THIS ROM! I DID NOT DO THE WORK TO GET IT WORKING ON THE BLAZE! EVERYTHING HERE HAS BEEN TAKEN FROM EXISTING POSTS ON XDA! I JUST MADE A BACKUP!
USE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Neither I nor XDA is responsible if this messes up your phone!
Features:
*Rooted
*Nova Launcher with ICS theme (instead of TW Launcher)
*No BS AT&T applications
Faults (note, these are existing inside the existing Exhilarate ICS rom flashed to the Blaze:
*Camera is upside down
*wifi/cell radios are a little weak
*no wifi calling
Prerequisites: (Links in 2nd post)
1.) Download Odin (Not necessary if you already have CWM)
2.) Download the CWM tar and Blaze 4G pit (Once again, not necessary if you already have CWM)
3.) Download my CWM backup
Instructions:
Step 1: Flash CWM (if not done already) through Odin
Step 2: Boot into CWM and mount USB Storage (go to Mounts and Storage -> Mount USB Storage)
Step 3: connect your phone to your computer with the supplied USB cable. Open up the external SD card (in windows, open up the external storage drive, in Linux mount the storage media, in Mac OSX, who cares, inferior OS). Create the following directory in the root of your SD card (it is case sensitive): clockworkmod/backup
Step 4: Unzip the Blaze-ICS-CWMbackup-debloated.zip. copy the entire unzipped directory into /clockworkmod/backup
Step 5: go to the root of the CWM menu. Choose "backup and restore" and then choose "restore". Then select "Blaze-ICS-CWMbackup-debloated"
Step 6: Wipe cache and dalvik cache. DO NOT CHOOSE WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET. It will reinstall all the bloat.
Step 7: Reboot phone
You will have to manually set up Google Accounts. Go to system settings -> accounts and sync -> add new account.
Odin (provided by k0nane)
Blaze 4G PIT (thanks to shabbypenguin)
CWM for Blaze 4G tar (thanks to shabbypenguin)
Blaze ICS Backup
Ok, a HUGE thanks to k0nane and shabbypenguin for the stuff. Original post link here
Thanks to afoster103 for confirming Exhilarate's compatibility with the Blaze 4G. Original post link
A special thanks to j3r3goss for pointing out Exhilarate's similarities and compatibilities work AS WELL as pointing out I was doing it wrong :fail!:. Without his input, I'd still be walking circles blindfolded wondering where I went wrong His original link with the download to the image and please thank his post for me that told me I had the wrong one here. That saved me about an hour of researching where I went wrong and another hour trying to find the correct link
Thanks to thomas.raines for making the 1-click flasher that got me up to this point forum link here
as well, a special thanks to the following people inside the Exhilarate ICS ROM post and the ICS 1-Click post
* dispozable
* 2vivid (also for the link to the CWM flashable superuser)
* erikmm
If I've forgotten anybody, PLEASE pm me and let me know, I'll list you.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GO TO THE LINKS I POSTED FOR THE ORIGINAL INFO AND CLICK THE THANKS BUTTON FOR EVERYONE WHO HELPED ME OUT!

You said the 1click didnt work.... were you able to restore my backup to your phone?
Zip was removed from server
I think you may need to upload the Blaze ICS Backup zip to another server. It appears to have been taken down/suspended.
Any issues getting back to GB after this via the same method?
Meaning: Can we just restore our CWM GB backup without error?

[ROOT 100%] TSD A9300 chinese mobile

ROOT SOLUTION AT #8 POST IN THIS THREAD
Click Thanks if i helped you
Hi, i try to root this phone and i don't found the way.
First of all, this is the phone info:
Hardware : MT6575
Model : TSD A93000
Build number : SJ_A952_A881_M00_S07_120827
Build date UTC : 20120827-095217
Android v : 4.0*
Baseband v: MAUI.11AMD.W11.50.SP.V10, 2012/07/03 17:10
Kernel v : 2.6.35.7 ([email protected]) (gcc version 4.4.3 (GCC) ) #1 Mon Aug 27 17:45:08 CST 2012
(if you need more info, only demand me)
* I think that this phone IS NOT Android 4.0 because tap-in several times in "setting→about the phone→Android version" show the Zombie Arts by Jack Larsson and also the kernel not belong to Android 4.0, for this think i doubt of the MT6575 processor, thereby, how can i be sure of this info? something apk you know?
When i connect phone (mode debbuging and unknow sources ON) at MTK Droid Tools last version, the software "not responding". I try to install several ADB drivers, but seems none work. The only way to "connect" is when MTKDroidTools is "not responding" i open a cmd window and kill the adb server with "adb kill-server", in this moment the MTKDroidTools stop and read the phone, in this moment i copy&paste the phone info up here. At this moment i click on "root" button but don't work displaying:
"Only through CWM it is possible to get root in this phone! look urls (url chinese) (url xda-developers)" sorry i can't post urls, under 10 posts
I try to follow the tutorial of the 2nd link ([GUIDE] How to ReadBack ROM using SP FlashTool, to make the CWM recovery, to install SuperUser (get root) etc.If your phone not rooted using the ROOT button.), but i can't because the phone not connect at MTKDroidTools for take back the scatter file and etc.
What can i do?
Sorry for the tocho
up!
help me please!!

1.Dowoad the file from the link below.
2. Then download Clockwork Mod Custom Recovery.
3. Then boot into recovery mode, and choose "install from SD Card".
4. Choose Clockwork mod recovery.zip, and it will boot you into a different recovery.
5. From that recovery mode you should be able to flash .zip files without signature verification.
6. Choose install zip from SD Card and choose SU Installer.zip.
Note:To unroot just flash SU Uninstaller.zip the same way you did to flash Installer.zip.

hello, i have tha same smartphone, can you please write the tutorial in english as well ? google translate isnot something i trust for these procedures.
Also som questions:
Do you have the original rom so that if we brick the phove we can revive it via SpFlashTools? Have you managed flashing CWM recovery?
It is very cheap for its characteristics.
Back camera is most likely 2mp (or 3MP) and front 0.3 for sure. I tried resizing and i found that out . Still more than acceptable quality. I got Antutu score of 4500. It is really high for 6575, since my old 6575 could reach 3700 and my current 6577 gets 6800. I really apreciate that too.
dont really understand what is the real clock of the cpu. . Antutu says 19998.84mhz which is rather impossible for a 6575. Cpu spy as well cannot retrieve the frequency states.
checking the gps now

It would be very usefull for someone to post here the original rom so as to be flashed via SpFlashTools since it is 6575.
PS i dont own it now, i gave it to a friend but i m sure he will ask for my help soon, since i am the one who is aware about technology products...
Thank you anyway
I got really big problem with rooting that phone...
i did everything as this instruction says (that spanish one posted by nomerallo, using mgyun software)
and now some of the root checkers says that i do have root acces, and some of them says that i dont!(WTF!?)
And still programs that need root accesto work - doesnt work
and i cannot make root process again because program thinks that phone is already rooted (i cannot click on that ROOT option)
any ideas how to deal with it?
