Facebook app shortcut disappared randomly. - T-Mobile Sidekick 4G

Today the home screen icon for the facebook app disappeared and it's not in the app drawer either. The only way I can open it is using the google search widget to search for the app and from there I can open it and it works normally. I tried un/reinstalling and same problem. I can also use the keyboard shortcut I created for it but that's it. Anyone heard of something like this?

Organizer app? like this?

Alright, i really like the way the LG Optimus Z had the app drawer set up.
http://www.androidcentral.com/lg-optimus-z-review
It is split up by media, downloaded, and communication.
Is there an app out there or something similar to this?
thanks.
Bump... anyway know of any app like this? Or home screen replacement?
The latest build of ADW.Launcher has the ability to categorize apps and then switch between the standard app drawer (showing all apps) and drawers showing only the apps of a category.
It's a new feature, and something the developer has some ideas to expand on when he gets time.

Can I freeze Mail app?

Has anyone tried freezing the mail app to use a different one? I use the Yahoo mail app, but both mail apps cause notifications. How can I get the standard mail app to stop, and can I move the Yahoo mail app to the dock?
I am guessing you are rooted! Use Taitanium back up to freeze the mail app, if that does not work than go to mail app and setting and disable notification. Plus to put yahoo app on the dock just press on icon in app drawer for couple second and when you get it to home screen just put it over the Gmail app.

He wants the app to be in the dock, not on the home screen, correct? In that case you need to go into app drawer, click Menu > View Type > Customizable Grid. Then click Menu > Edit, and press and hold on Yahoo and then drag It down to the dock. Then you can click Menu > View Type again and select Alphabetical if you want them to be ordered again.

Thanks. I disabled the notifications and then I replaced the mail app with Yahoo mail in the dock. I also saw that I could add a folder (another option I wanted). So I made a folder for all my frozen apps.

[Q] Stocks app shortcut missing from app drawer

I cannot find the shortcut for the stocks app from the app drawer. I can get to it by creating a widget on the homescreen, or from the Apex launcher, but not from the stock launcher.
Anybody else facing the same issue?
It's the same thing for Polaris Office too. Weird.

I did this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26193552&postcount=2
to put it in a folder on my Home Screen.
Weird. I wonder if this is just a bug, of if AT&T hid this on purpose (and if so, why?).
I assumed there was no app for viewing MS Office documents, and went ahead and installed Office Suite (which I had luckily gotten as an Amazon "free app of the day" a while back). It wasn't until today that I tried to open an Excel document, and I was given the choice of opening with Polaris or Office Suite. I was like WTF, Polaris is there, why isn't it in the app drawer???

Yeah...I can't seem to find SoundHound in the drawer. Sucks because I actually want to use the app and can't access it. It doesn't let me delete and download in Google Play.

If you open the Music app, Soundhound should be listed there. Seems liked they tried to unify things a bit by throwing Soundhound, TuneIn, etc. under the Music app. Also, if you install Pandora or other music apps, it should automatically add a shortcut in Music (at least it did for me), and you can also add other shortcuts manually. But that doesn't fully explain why TuneIn can be found in the app drawer, and not Soundhound.

Remove google search in app drawer

Maybe a dumb question and I see a lot of people wanting the opposite but is there any way to get back the old behavior of the search bar in app drawer, so that it only searches for installed apps instead of searching the web and everything?
For "real" search I use the search bar on homescreen or assistant, but in app drawer it should only show installed apps.

You could use a third party launcher to get that functionality

Handshaker apk installed, no app interface

I downloaded and installed the Handshaker apk and installed it on my Pixel 2. It shows up in my Application Manager, but there is no icon in my app drawer so I can't add it to my home screen or launch it. How do I go about creating a shortcut on my home screen, or if not that then how do I find the application to manually launch it?
Thanks in advance.
