I have an htc sensation, but i have some problems....
1) Sometimes when i press the home button, the htc sense is restarting (with the htc logo), i was trying an hard-reset yesterday so now is ok, but read problem "2)"... what is the problem for "1)"?
2) Few minutws ago i was using wi-fi hot-spot, but the cell was restarting unxpacted... what is the problem? Is only me with thous problems?
I have the original rom with update to android 2.3.4 & sense 3.0....

mine restarts when i use a cpu intensive app and then press the home screen....I decided to start using Go Launcher and have never looked back. Go Launcher works much better than sense
my uncle is using it on his motorola, and i like it thanks!

Slow to go back to home screen by press home screen button!
I had a problem with my phone when I update to to v2.3.5 with HTC Sense. My phone is slower then before. when I go to menu and come back to home screen most of time it is very slow to get back to it... maybe 15-30 second after I press home screen button...How can I solve this problem?
After updating I can't swich off my device with the power button.

My phone is Sensation with 16 GB memory and class 4.
The touch screen in sometimes , offen in games, It doesn't work corectly
For example in Rally games...
For work again it I hit power and then it work corectly!
Except games , in some Apps and in main menu I see this promlem again
I test it in some ROMs...
Even I want to write a SMS or Open lock screen or some times when my phone become to ringing , The Grren kay work after short period of time...
For example when I write a SMS I press "S" and to press "a" it doesnt work , or work after a short time... In this time I press power button and Its done!
Plz help me ...

I have this same problem, I read somewhere that it is to do with ics and the touchscreen drivers. I'm not sure if they have a fix yet.

in your phone is a metal pin located pull it out a bit DO NOT FORCE THIS and it should be fixed that way i fixed mine

Dear I have just Update my Sensation to ICS and now the problem is that when ever i close any applicationmeand come out of it by tapping back key home screen restarts with green htc logo and white background.
please help
Dear I have found the solution.
In the setting go to develop option and in the apps section uncheck donot keep activities.
It actually kills everything including HTC sense as well

This is my first post so here goes.
I have looked as much as I can for a solution to the problem I am having.

I have a Sensation ( the phone not the other thing ). I have been running the latest Insertcoin ROM 3.6 no problem, excellent, love it. OK bored now so I have tried the Sense 4.0 from Insert. Initially all runs fine, this has given me a new phone. The problem I have had, and has forced me back to 3.6 is the following :
When I press the on/off button on the top I seem to get a massive pause ( blank screen ) almost feels like the phone is doing something else, after this pause of about 20 seconds I get the normal screen, I pull the tag to activate, I then get the same pause. After this the phone runs fine, until I press the off button again then I get the same.
I have tried all I can, reflash, reload. someone mentioned to me that perhaps my SD card is too full I have about 1gb left.
Can someone help ? love Sense 4.0 ...need sense 4.0

I got an new HTC sensation XE in october 2011 with vodafone. Worked fine until i looked for the new OTA update.
I installed the update on wifi, and everything looked fine until the phone started to update the apps or something. Then het resetten himself and after that asked for my sim pincode.
The problem is everything looks fine on the screen, but when i want to touch the numbers the phone freezes. I can only touch one number before it freezes. When i then press the powerbutton the screen goes black (standby) then i press powerbutton again, then i can use the ring, but when i want to enter a number again it locks.
The same happens when i remove the simcard en startup. It freezes when i touch the ring one time.
Anybody fimiliar with this problem???
