Slow to go back to home screen by press home screen button!
I had a problem with my phone when I update to to v2.3.5 with HTC Sense. My phone is slower then before. when I go to menu and come back to home screen most of time it is very slow to get back to it... maybe 15-30 second after I press home screen button...How can I solve this problem?
After updating I can't swich off my device with the power button.

I have bought a new HTC sensation phone. I used to have Moto XT502. HTC sensation is in different league. Too much horse power. I had seen sensation lagging or restarting (white screen with HTC logo) some time after hitting home screen button. I have now rooted my device and running Revolution HD 3.6.5. I have noticed that sometimes when I reboot (full reboot), the home screen icons don't show up. Completely blank home screen. I get the icons after pulling notifications or opening settings and then getting back to the home screen. Any idea why this is happening?

Has anyone seen this issue? This is reproducible after full reboot. I am using Revolution HD 3.6.5.
I had got a HTC ChaCha last month but founded that the system reloading itself very frequently, especially the first few slide after the screen lock is released. This happened since open box.
When i said "reloading"...i refer to 2 observation.
1. the phone went black off and then restart back as it is restarted from power button. It show HTC home screen (the one with HTC logo when the phone is on) and then LOADING is shown in the middle of the screen with inactivated Phone's home screen as background .
2. Similar to 1st observation but it doesn't reload from the HTC logo screen.

Is this a problem? Any solution to this annoying "problem" or should i just accept as it?
The problem you are having is a HTC Sense bug. The Sense is crashing at some point, failing to wake itself up, therefore HTC Sense (only) restarts. That's the reason you are seeing the top status bar with the clock and stuff. Get the latest SW or a custom mod.
I have an htc sensation, but i have some problems....
1) Sometimes when i press the home button, the htc sense is restarting (with the htc logo), i was trying an hard-reset yesterday so now is ok, but read problem "2)"... what is the problem for "1)"?
2) Few minutws ago i was using wi-fi hot-spot, but the cell was restarting unxpacted... what is the problem? Is only me with thous problems?
I have the original rom with update to android 2.3.4 & sense 3.0....

mine restarts when i use a cpu intensive app and then press the home screen....I decided to start using Go Launcher and have never looked back. Go Launcher works much better than sense
my uncle is using it on his motorola, and i like it thanks!

Dear I have just Update my Sensation to ICS and now the problem is that when ever i close any applicationmeand come out of it by tapping back key home screen restarts with green htc logo and white background.
please help
Dear I have found the solution.
In the setting go to develop option and in the apps section uncheck donot keep activities.
It actually kills everything including HTC sense as well

This is my first post so here goes.
I have looked as much as I can for a solution to the problem I am having.
Sorry if this has already been answered.
I have a Sensation ( the phone not the other thing ). I have been running the latest Insertcoin ROM 3.6 no problem, excellent, love it. OK bored now so I have tried the Sense 4.0 from Insert. Initially all runs fine, this has given me a new phone. The problem I have had, and has forced me back to 3.6 is the following :
When I press the on/off button on the top I seem to get a massive pause ( blank screen ) almost feels like the phone is doing something else, after this pause of about 20 seconds I get the normal screen, I pull the tag to activate, I then get the same pause. After this the phone runs fine, until I press the off button again then I get the same.
I have tried all I can, reflash, reload. someone mentioned to me that perhaps my SD card is too full I have about 1gb left.
Can someone help ? love Sense 4.0 ...need sense 4.0
Any idea ?
