tried to flash it twice on stock gingerbread then tried again on CM 7.1 but still not working

Asad! I know this is not the right thread to ask, but this is a humble request from me and i m sure from all the other fit users too...that can you please make us a nice stable overclocked Kernel!
From past couple of months, we are just porting rom from other devices, there's just few development which originally belongs to FIT.
Even the Mini has got now 1.3 GHz Kernel (i have read somewhere)....... we have now, quite a number of roms for fit, performance of the phone is best enhanced by the Kernels.
You are a Senior Dev of This forums, I am sure you and other Devs can come together to make a Good kernel as a team.
If we got a good OC kernel for our fit, then i am sure that even on cm7 our phone's performance will become equivalent to High end Android Devices !

Sorry for that.. .. I read that in some galaxy Ace forums, that mini users has got 1.3 GHz working kernel !
Just searched and found that, they have a maximum of 868 MHz processor with voltage modules !
Well, i was just taking a reference .......consider that as a a mistake....
And please, do consider that request, which was made in earlier post !

you should test the rom before you post atleast tell some people to test it for you before posting here and replacing the CM9 framework in cm7 will NEVER work you need to port and resize images in cm7 framework itself

Sorry to iterpt in between but this not gone gonna work in any case if you use cm9 framework in cm7.
And guys overclocking yoir device to 1.3 Ghz would just make it a paperweight. That's too much for an ldpi device.

I have already started working....

As for cm based roms, you actually can't do much (since its a custom rom by itself)...
So for starters, select a suitable base cm, and just try changing the ui, experiment with tweaks and scripts, find better combinations for good performance...etc...
More than enough to keep you busy for atleast a week...

Right now no aosp...Just made one ROM..
Actually ported and then modified and tweaked...But cherry on the cake was its running so smooth and faster that cant wait to release it...

Hi :) T-Mobile gave me this phone for free.

Hi guys im new to XDA but not new to Android development i used to have Cricket service (which sucked) and signed with T-Mobile and got this phone for free After spending all week reading all these threads i can say im one of the lucky ones since i got the good chip and good screen and rooted my phone and im running Sysnthetic_Aospx great rom btw. Any other good roms that i should try? Anywho im rooted and this isnt another "which rom is better" im actually a developer and i want to get my hands dirty and try and compile kernels any guides out there for me to start compiling and building my kernel environment?
I know my way around developing roms and wanted to know what developers develop for this device im willing to give you guys a hand if u need it or just be a tester.
Btw my name is Mr. Iffy ill try to help when i can hopefully one of the devs can help me with an Ice cream kernel to develop for this device. If someone can also tell me what devs are here i only see like 4 of them Synthetic and elginsk8r and awesome and cnote. Thanks guys hopefully i can be more of help around here.

Kernels are difficult, i dont really know enoguh to teach you but there are plenty of guides. It tooks me 3 hours to compile 10% of a kernel and the process failed due to one of the files. We should collarborate.

Just flashed it. The first bug that I noticed is that the sim card probably is not detected as I have no network connection (didn't ask for pin code and manual network selection gives an error).

In kernel section in about phone, evervolv is mentioned among other things, so to cut the long story short, yes.

Why that is bad? In my opinion it is better, so everyone can use whatever he wants, that is the meaning of open source.
Ok it may not good too have x1000 cm10.1 roms and x1000 avatar roms (like in gb times), but having 1(or 2) of each rom type is quite good in my opinion.

Ok, seriously, this got sooooo childish over time. I really think nikez & the while team are doing an amazing job, fo' sure.
+ They are open source which is amazing.
So, why would anyone really rewrite the whole thing? Just to grow some imaginary balls? What would you do?
The only question is:
If they (Avatar & everyone who uses their sources) improve the existing stuff, do they also release the sources for everyone?

Sure they haven't mentioned Evervolv yet, but I hope they will edit OP soon and match the rules.
By the way, 99% of those you accuse of "kanging" don't even kang, so get your facts right.

We want to make sure the rom works fine. Once we get confirmation that it works we will make an official post with Changelog , credits etc. We always provide credits to all the people involved.

HI op if you want the avatar theme to be the theme applied when Rom is booted for the very 1st time add this to build.prop
persist.sys.themePackageName=com.avatar.theme.Denim
Then the avatar theme will be loaded up by default every time the phone is booted up thanks x

Not carrying on the rant over here lol but Come on guy's the whole Rom is not evervolv's just because they ported the Rom DONT make every single app or code in the rom theirs. Yes they may have coded SOME things but NOT everything. So what if the OP used most of the current avatar rom he HAS THE RIGHT to because android is OPEN SOURCE. I am fed up with members on xda all they care about is THIS IS MINE NA NA NA NA NA get a grip of yourselve's are you really going to act like a child for a few codes and a few apps ???? My 2 year old daughter would laugh at you for acting more like a child than she is. Come on guy's developers should SHARE not argue and point the fingers at eachother. And if people didnt KANG or whatever the hell you want to call it then where would most of the rom's on xda be ????? Every developer os sense Rom's KANGED HTC do you see them coming on here chucking their dummy's out the pram ???? because i dont see them doing that. I think it is sad it has to come down to developers arguing like children over some damn files when they should be sticking together like a comunity should. I don't understand why everyone starts to accuse people of basing their rom on others' source. Isn't that the whole poing of open source and sourse sharing?
This way, google should accuse and sue every single developer for using the Android source.
So lets just enjoy this ROM, and appreciate that there are still people who work for this device.

Okay I tested this rom and I have to say it's fast but 2 bugs : There is no signal ( probably simcard not detected but not sure) , graphical glitches ( everywhere, not only in YouTube app, the screen kinda tears and acts weird, everyone should know what I mean) . I tested it for a while and that's the bugs I found. It's fast ROM but the glitches and other bugs make me to not use this ROM for now.

First off why do you need more kernels? Just 1 kernel that is stable, tweakable and smooth should be more than good enough. Better having one kernel by a developer who knows what he's doing rather than 10 kernels which lack in quality. I've been with sensei since day 1 and I've seen phenomenal battery life and smoothness.

How can u judge the devs blindly and assume that their kernels will lack quality? And I also think that many devs know what they are doing too! Please don't just assume things. I was only speaking on behalf of the Amazing Devs out there for us!!!

This thread is just to encourage Devs for making kernels for us! Making it is up to the devs
This poll is just to decide what the users want and hopefully bring new kernels for our device with new features

no one is accusing the other developers of lacking anything. All we're saying is that we should be grateful that there is even one kernel being regularly updated

you seem to be quite new to XDA forums. I've been around for a while and I can tell you that threads like these don't encourage developers. If they wanted to or they could they would have done so

to be honest,kernel for CM12.1 ++ is already modified ,more performance,more stability already included
also, SG Fame,only have 1 custom kernel and it's included into any Custom Rom build from source bro
already include tons of feature
All In One is better dude ,10 people working together

yep , it's a hobbies dude , if i have a mood ,i will modified something , if that (kernel or rom) is good,i will release and open a discussion ,to discuss about it ( fix bugs,more performance,more stability and more)
