{Q} How do you remove place content - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

On an empty page it says touch here to place content. How do you remove this?

##EDIT##
Just drag an app from the drawer to the page and then remove it, poof, and it's gone.

If you do that it stays gone for a little while, but comes back later.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but you can also drag that page to the trash can. That would remove it also.
I'm confused by your question, though.
Would you care to elaborate a little more?

I'm not sure dragging pages to trash is possible in stock Touchwiz.

[Q] Large black orb with blue ring on home screen?

Anyone know what that big black orb is in the upper-left hand corner of the home screen? (See screenshot) And, more importantly, how do I get rid of it? When I tap it, nothing happens, when I hold to drag it off the screen, I get prompted to change the wallpaper. This is on CyanogenMod 10.
Thanks
That is the icon for a folder. Don't know what's going on specifically in your device though. Might want to clear data of that launcher or try a new launcher altogether

Hmm, looked in the Launcher settings, didn't see an option to clear. Do you know where I can find that? Alternatively, is it a folder that I could simply delete on the fiesystem somewhere?

Lol, I meant go into apps in the system settings, go the launcher you are using, and clear data. This will wipe all apps from the home screen so you have to set it up again, but should probably fix the problem.
This is definitely an app bug, so once again you can also install an alternative launcher such as Apex

Thanks, that did it - cleared cache for Trebuchet

Delete apps widget?

Hey all not to sure if this is the right place I'm looking for widget that I can drag apps to so they will get deleted like recycle bin on windows any help would be great as my free Xperia rom don't do drag delete

Android just doesn't have a recycle bin type of delete system. There is a feature very similar to that in adw launcher though, where if you hold the icon of an app on long enough as if to move it around the screen, a small menu comes up with options to either remove it from your homescreen or uninstall it completely. The problem with using it is that you'll have to use adw launcher to completely replace the current homescreen you have. If that doesn't sound bad, go for it. It's extremely resource friendly. Used to use it on my crap old virgin mobile phone, and has tons of themes and icon sets to go with it.
Hope this helps.
I just made a shortcut to "app management" and can quickly uninstall from there

Apps pop ups

Hi everyone ,
This is my first time here so hopefully I can get some help.
Every time I turn on my tab I get app pop ups on my home screen and also automatically apps are saving to my pages, I've gone through my settings and checked to see if I have anything turned on that shouldn't be, if someone could point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated as it's really starting to annoy me.
Cheers Headman

It's a rogue app the causes that. It contains adware and spyware by changing your homepage (monitor what you search), constantly adds search icon on homescreen and comes up with annoying ads in both the notification bar and by pop ups.
Run this app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brosmike.airpushdetector&hl=en
And remove those apps.

Agreed, my fiance had one in her phone and it would push notifications, pop-ups, all sorts of invasive stuff. I wanna say she used an app "installer" ( like the ones found in 4shared), which was what installed the "rouge" app.

Im not looking to clear history im just wondering where internet history is located. Im looking for a internet link I looked at a few days ago.
If you were logged into your google account for say google bookmarks.. Take your Brower to google.com.. At the top left click your icon. Click next to your name in the pop up next to profile that says Privacy .. It will show all sites and internet activity ..
You will be surprised at what they collect from you unless you been there and edited the settings.
Good Luck
OOPS TOP RIGHT ... GRRRR

Very simple:
Click on bookmarks
On the bookmarkspage you have on top of page a selection called History
Click on History and it will show you all visited links
Don't look for the file folder too complicated, when you have everything in front of you with one click

bring up your browser then at the top right click on the little icon with the star in it. Its jist to the right of the magnifying glass.
An even better and easier way I'd to long press the "back button" in the app, the one at the status bar that looks like a u-turn that is. That opens, for some reason the history right away!

Reorder Apps

I am her to the gear 2. Other than assuming to the home button is there a way to reorder the apps? I can see how you can reorder them on a single page but how would you move them from one page to another page. The two apps that I go to all the time are spread out so its multiple swipes to dig down to it

Rearranging shortcuts...
Tap and hold an app icon and then drag and drop it to rearrange the app shortcuts on the Gear's home screen or in the app list.
Removing app shortcuts...
Tap and hold an app icon, then drag and drop it on the remove icon at the top of the screen.
Thanks,
I can drag the app and hover it over the page where I want it but when I drop it, it goes back to where it cam from. as I type this i am thinking that maybe I need to drag one off the page to create an empty spot? is that the case?

Delete an app off a particular page, it has an empty slot, then drag and drop the new app from a different page to the new one.
That works for me
