Pattern LOCK Removal - HTC Sensation

Hello, i tried looking for an answer for this but could not find it in the forum. I have a HTC sensation, my child draw a different pattern and now my phone is locked. I had fastboot enable and know i can´t get into the fastboot menu to erase the phone (no important data in it). Do you guys know a way for getting into fastboot (battery removal or any other way) Thank you!!!

Pull the battery. That should wipe the fast-boot cache so it will do a full boot.
Then do the usual Vol Down + Power trick to get into the Bootloader menu.

pull battery and hold volume down key when booting

Pull out battery, re insert, vol down + pwr

and y do u need to fully wipe ur phone for that, if u still know the pattern, you can choose the (forgot pattern) option and sunlock it using ur google account .
if u don't know the pattern u can just pull of the batterry and reinsert it again and boot into fastboot (keep holding the volume down and power button), run RUU and flash your rom again.
cheers
Viper

Can't you just unlock with google account?

here is the lock screen

[SOLVED] [Q] Any way to reboot frozen phone without battery pull?

Hey XDA,
After i updated my rom to BlindICE 7.0 from 6.0 (No factory reset) the phone kept coming up with the boot animation after i unlock my SD card. The boot animation would disappear though, but almost as if it had done a hot restart. I would then have to unlock the SD card again, and the same thing would happened. This happened a couple of times, and i disconnected it from my computer (I had the phone connected from earlier where i send the rom) and suddenly, the phone froze. Now i cant get in any contact with the phone. ADB earlier said the device was offline, but after i disconnected the phone from the PC, and connected it again, the device wont show up at all
So my question is, are there any way to restart the phone without pulling the battery? As i said earlier, ADB is not working. I could let all the power run out, but i would really love if there was a faster way

95-100%, so draining the battery would take some time, and i'm not sure if theres any difference between that and pulling the battery
Try holding then longer
If you can't wait and have no other option then I would suggest the below
1. Connect phone to USB
2. Remove battery
3. Phone will still be running
4. Shutdown PC to cut the USB power
This is the safest way I know if three button reset is not working
PS: I an not responsible for damages to your phone, and I have follows the process a couple of times.

It seems that the phone was not running the stock rom and doing a factory reset erases all the data. Can you boot in hboot (power + volume down)? Then if are able paste the first two line at the top left of that screen (white with 3 androids at the bottom)

Relocked - Now wont Unlock again

Hi,
I wanted to debrand by phone so i did the supercid thing to change from t-mob_005 to 1111111, then i installed latest HTC rom (and ver 4.0.4 software number 2.21.401.10) which in turn upgraded hboot to 1.14 and baseband to 1.06s.
Now, ive got my new token id and resubmitted to htcdev and then installed the new unlock_code it gave me back, all seemed to go thru ok, came up with the screen about voiding warranty, use volume to select yes or no, ive selected yes and it then reboots... but still the bootloader says relocked. ive tried the same over and over and even gone thru the process of new token id etc again but still i cant unlock it.
where am i going wrong?
Hi I had the same problem how I got over it is let the phone boot up enable USB debugging and disable fastboot in the power menu then completely power off the phone
Wait a minute then reboot once you get back to the home screen press power and restart holding volume down when you get to the bootloader screen it should now say unlocked once more

What lock are you talking about? Sim lock or privacy/password lock. If it is latter. Go to recovery (home+power button) and wipe data and cache. Navigate by using volume buttons and select by home button. Then tap reboot system now.

[Q] Is my phone bricked?

Hey guys,
I found your forum after I gave a guy my phone so he could root it but he couldn't deliver. However, when I got back the phone it took longer to boot up and after it got past the "HTC One X" screen, instead of allowing me to put in my PIN to unlock (as usual), it sent me to a blank screen showing only my current wallpaper and the task bar (with the time, power, signal, etc).
The major part of the screen is unresponsive. The three buttons below are unresponsive as well.
I'm able to pull the task bar down and when I click the "settings" button I get this message: "unfortunately the process com.android.settings has stopped"
What does this mean for my phone? Can this be fixed?
Any help would be great. I've done a bit of reading, but I'm still very new to this. The phone is an AT&T HTC One X, 1.85, running 4.0.3.
Thanks in advance.

Yes it should be fixable but we don't know what that person did to your phone.. if he never got to the point of changing the cid. You can just run the 1.85 ruu and then root it yourself if you want because its not difficult. Or if root intimidates you you cab stay stock.
If he did happen to change the cid youll have to unlock the bootloader if its not already and either flash a ROM or s-off and then ruu.
I'm sure this can seem like a lot but everything will be fine. What I need to see is the information in your bootloader. And your cid.
How to get into your bootloader: press and hold power while your phone is on until the back home and recent apps buttons blink 5 times and then shuts off. Once the screen is off. Wait 2-3 seconds and then press and hold power and volume down.
Show me the bootloader.

You're probably supercid. You'll need to unlock the bootloader and s-off. You should install the HTC drivers and fastboot and get to work. Do you want to be rooted and stuff or stock?
The reason I ask is, we will proceed differently if you just want to stay stock but if you intend to flash Roms and whatnot, we will unlock root and s-off and downgrade touchscreen firmware.

Do you have the HTC Drivers, fastboot/adb installed?
If not, Get ADB/Fastboot. Unzip and keep in a folder somewhere. Remember where. I use C:\Android myself. You can have yours wherever is most convenient.

Run that exe file with your phone plugged in, in bootloader/fastboot. It will, hopefully, return your phone to a working state.
