[Q] problem with Chainfire3D app...help

i installed Chainefire3d on my x10 rooted phone+CM7 room
i installed the driver and it was reboot , but than when i try to install plugin it searched plugin but it cant find it... i put plugin for powervr on my sd card everywhere on my phone in every folder... but CF3D cant find it... please help.. thanks

Correct me if i am wrong, I don't think our devices are PowerVR, I think our devices are ardeno, therefore they should be something else like DVX or something... can't remember on the top of my head.
I haven't used Chainfire, but I think you news to download the correct version, not POWERVR..
I may be wrong. But hope this helps anyway.

i didnt understand exacly what you meant.... what version do i need to download??
and our devices(x10) it is powerVR. when you install it you can play gameloft games without problems....could you explain me further? thanks...

zzz...x10 is adreno 200 and powerVR is juz a plugin for u to play games mick!

did you extract the powervr archive? Guys, relax, he might want to try some PowerVR games.

what are you talking about my friend?? please explain ... i know that powervr are needed for playing gameloft games without issues like asassins creed and many more... what are the diffrence beetween what you said??
and i have exracted the file from the archive and put it on my phone in almost any folder and chainfire3D cant find the plugin i dont know why please help..

Go over to the chainfire thread as the dev who made the app or other people who use it will be able to help you out.

you just need to put libGLEMU_QUALCOMM.ZIP, libGLEMU_NVIDIA.ZIP AND libGLEMU_POWEVR.ZIP on your SD card.
Don't extract these zip files
CF3D should be able to find those files

i know that POWERVR used for gameloft games like asassins creed BIA2 Rainbow six and so but what for the other tow??(NVIDIA ,QUALCOMM)

CMIIW, many games use it's own graphic support.. Like pinball 3D and Samurai Vignance, they use the Nvidia one. So, each game using it's graphic. And this graphic (card, i think) just used for them which have a good graphic or called HD..

Chainfire 3D should I use it or no

Should I go ahead and install the chainfire 3D drivers on my GT i9003? I am asking this because whenever I click the install button it says that the phone may not boot properly and I may have to flash firmware again. Should I go ahead with it someone please help me.

I had been looking for thread how to install chainfire 3D on my device. Im in xxkpq firmware. I just install street fighter v HD and get a white background while playing that game. I search and my phone need to install mobile odin(yes i have install pro version) then need to flash kernel and install chainfire3D. Any1 can share step or thread to do that?

Install Chainfire3D from the android market... u need to be rooted. After installation u can try reducing texture quality.

i didnt face any disadvantages by enabling chainfire 3D. if you play old java games or stuff like that its very usefull + it has the cool night mode xD

After installing chainfire we must install the plugins for nvidia, powervr, and snapdragon. Then open chainfire and load the plugin suitable for the game you are going to play. Thats all no more white screen.

So far everything works good. Doesnt face any problem yet.

yea,but some programs need chainfire free,chainfire pro both installed..then they work fine.

How run gameloft games??

Hello,
i have i5800 with froyo and inDroid v6. How i can run gameloft games??? i have run sandstorm i found a website where i could download the cache and the apk from many games but the most of the links are dead. do you know a website or links for games???

First of all you need CHAINFIRE 3D app. There is a tutorial on using in the themes section. After installing the plugin from chainfire download the resized versions of the games.

you can run SOME of gameloft games, such as Asphalt5 and etc.....to do that, you'll need CF3D driver, plugins and the 240x400 version of the game! the game will work great @ 1200mhz (use SetCPU).........
Bad news = Overclocking shortens cpu's life!!!

Dude just download from market or any other sources you have and run the game it'll confirm to download some data. Once thats done just click on the game to play. Its pretty simple buddy.

i've downloaded this sd data but how to start the game.... i knw without installing its apk i can't get its icon on my app drawer
can anybody tell me which apk to install for this sd data to work...??

once you install the APK then start it, it will ask for download around 300 MB start the download once it is done now you are ready.......

Yes it does support HD games...After all Galaxy R has a Tegra 2 Chipset.....
You can get the Sd data from any site..jst google search..
Once you get the data..place it in sdcard/Gameloft/games/<Folder Name of the Aspahalt 6>
(If m wrong abt loaction, do correct me)
and then start your game.

which apk version ??
before downloading sd data from the link mentioned above i tried installing Asphalt 6's apk from smwhere it was around 6-7mb... and after installation it downloaded game data of around 579mb but failed to launch the game. I uninstalled that as well as deleted those game data from my sdcard
Now i downloaded the sd data from the link mentioned here in this thread but wondering how to use that (i mean where to place them exactly nd which apk should i use..)
somebody help me with this...

^ You may have downloaded a corrupted apk try another source maybe.

Chainfire3D alternative tool released ... now what?

hello every xda dude
well . i don't know if you heard this or you even interested with it but if you wanted to install chainfire3D on galaxy star or any other android 4.1 + you will get boot loop
luckily while i was surfing . i found this tool which called GLTOOLS
i was like (OMG SO NOW I CAN RUN GANGSTAR) WOO WOO ....

i downloaded it and installed it on galaxy star s5282 .. it worked but my connection is too slow to test gangstar wch now
How to install then?
1-download the apk ( better ver 1.07 )
2-Put it in sd card
3-create folder and call it : Plugins
4-Download PowerVR . Nvidia . Qualcomm . the normal plugins of chainfire3d . you can find them here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1443794
5-Put them in that folder
6-install the program .. after it get installed go to menu and open it
7-THE MOST IMPORTANT THING : TICK ON TEX ... you will find it over the 3 boxes to tick .. then tick them all and click install

9-you can choose plugins and more options such as antialising and so on things in each program's settings
At the end : i didn't create it or even help in the process of creating this program and all the rights reserved to it's owner the genius : n0n3m4

well i reduce textures to .5x / and according to the game i use a fake gpu and cpu . if the game is designed for mali i use fake mali . if for tegra i use tegra and so on .. and if the game have bad pixels . i use anti alising (aa) . if you want settings for a specified game then gimme a name . if you mean gangstar then use reduce textures .5x and fake gpu as tegra2 and don't use custom settings (first tick of the program) that's it

Tell me if u manage to run asphalt 8at awesome spd with not too much grfx compromise
Pls try nova 1 and gangstar 2 and all such games im also going to test today
I think u dont need to go 0.5x
Since our phone is capable of running it at full grfx

i don't have a good connection speed now :/ only edge phone . no laptop connection
anyways . gangstar2 mv didn't even manage to run . load till 20 pct and then force close so i couldn't test it .
today i'm going to cafe and resume gangstar vegas download . i will search for tutorial about how to install apps on mem card . i bought 8gb kingston card yesterday . so i'm gonna test gangstar vegas and telling you results . and well . i reduce it to .5 to make the fps faster . i don't care about the high quality but i care for the fps you too try testing games and tell us what games worked and what didn't and so on

try gangstar vegas and directory bind for data . search on google for gangstar vegas+data (version 1.1.0 or 1.2.0) tested 1.2.0 and it's working . some times it lags for seconds but it's working well
