[Q] problem with Chainfire3D app...help

i installed Chainefire3d on my x10 rooted phone+CM7 room
i installed the driver and it was reboot , but than when i try to install plugin it searched plugin but it cant find it... i put plugin for powervr on my sd card everywhere on my phone in every folder... but CF3D cant find it... please help.. thanks

Correct me if i am wrong, I don't think our devices are PowerVR, I think our devices are ardeno, therefore they should be something else like DVX or something... can't remember on the top of my head.
I haven't used Chainfire, but I think you news to download the correct version, not POWERVR..
I may be wrong. But hope this helps anyway.

i didnt understand exacly what you meant.... what version do i need to download??
and our devices(x10) it is powerVR. when you install it you can play gameloft games without problems....could you explain me further? thanks...

zzz...x10 is adreno 200 and powerVR is juz a plugin for u to play games mick!

did you extract the powervr archive? Guys, relax, he might want to try some PowerVR games.

what are you talking about my friend?? please explain ... i know that powervr are needed for playing gameloft games without issues like asassins creed and many more... what are the diffrence beetween what you said??
and i have exracted the file from the archive and put it on my phone in almost any folder and chainfire3D cant find the plugin i dont know why please help..

Go over to the chainfire thread as the dev who made the app or other people who use it will be able to help you out.

you just need to put libGLEMU_QUALCOMM.ZIP, libGLEMU_NVIDIA.ZIP AND libGLEMU_POWEVR.ZIP on your SD card.
Don't extract these zip files
CF3D should be able to find those files

just tell me i have important Question: What is the diffrent beetween POWERVR, NVIDIA, AND QUALCOMM?? i install all of them. but what are the diffrent?
i know that POWERVR used for gameloft games like asassins creed BIA2 Rainbow six and so but what for the other tow??(NVIDIA ,QUALCOMM)

CMIIW, many games use it's own graphic support.. Like pinball 3D and Samurai Vignance, they use the Nvidia one. So, each game using it's graphic. And this graphic (card, i think) just used for them which have a good graphic or called HD..

FPSe works perfectly fine on this phone. Are you sure you have a good copy of the BIOS? What game are you trying to run?

Actually now i load it without the bios and it works perfectly
and ya jamsori im trying to run medievil and crash bandicoot 3.
The bios is an original copy if u have a better one then pls give me the link!

Chainfire 3D should I use it or no

Should I go ahead and install the chainfire 3D drivers on my GT i9003? I am asking this because whenever I click the install button it says that the phone may not boot properly and I may have to flash firmware again. Should I go ahead with it someone please help me.

I had been looking for thread how to install chainfire 3D on my device. Im in xxkpq firmware. I just install street fighter v HD and get a white background while playing that game. I search and my phone need to install mobile odin(yes i have install pro version) then need to flash kernel and install chainfire3D. Any1 can share step or thread to do that?

Install Chainfire3D from the android market... u need to be rooted. After installation u can try reducing texture quality.

i didnt face any disadvantages by enabling chainfire 3D. if you play old java games or stuff like that its very usefull + it has the cool night mode xD

After installing chainfire we must install the plugins for nvidia, powervr, and snapdragon. Then open chainfire and load the plugin suitable for the game you are going to play. Thats all no more white screen.

So far everything works good. Doesnt face any problem yet.

yea,but some programs need chainfire free,chainfire pro both installed..then they work fine.

if you are going to play some hard game...you can use it

yup! if you want, you can buy the PRO version which supports per-app settings.

Won't work for me (6200) - allways get CF3D driver ERROR ... Could not write to /system
Tab is rooted and trying ver 3.3 - no luck :-(

Yest it works. I got the pro version of Chainfire.

Works fine on mine, even helped get some games to run that werent before. I have the pro version too, worth it for the plugins.

i tested antutu benchmark that have powervr plugin applied to it using per app setting.. turns out that the graphic benchmark gives better result for both 2d benchmark and 3d benchmark than without the plugin.

I have tried to run use chainfire on galaxy tab plus with cyanogen 9 and 10 firmware. It’s not working in my case. And people say that driver is not working on ICS and jb, so did you use a stock honeycomb firmware or something?

Works fine both normal and pro version.. Only use if you're a heavy gamer or like HD graphicsand btw sometimes it will make HD movies jump because of low memory...

I dont h ave any lags too..
tegra2 dual core is enough to hold most games w/o lags..
if lags try OC up to 1350mhz..
