Seems BS. Look how they advertise it: "Bluegeta li-ion battery is ultra-slim and ultra-light than any other batteries by using high
molecular substances and also provides."
"high molecular substances"? First, "molecular substance" is nonsensical; and let's say that even made sense, how the hell does a molecular substance become "high"? Doesn't make sense at all.
Just get an anker from amazon....

seems like bs. I've noticed that ever since Anker came out with nice packaging+Brand name and all... these fake HK sellers are doing the same thing. Remember! Just because it says 2300.. It's FAR from true. I was a newbie ebayer at one point. I bought all that, tested and learned the hard way. It's most likely a fake

I haven't seen one yet. Those cheap batteries often are no where near the capacity they claim so steer clear for now
I bought one from eBay for $4.89. It claims to be 1600 mah. So far it hasn't given me a problem but the battery life seems to be about the same than the official one.

why pay so much for battery? i got charger at home, car, work. less then $15.
There are quite a few other 1600mAh Desire HD batteries on eBay, mostly in Hong Kong, one in Canada, for significantly less than the $103 price. That's just an insane amount of money to pay for a battery. Personally I'm happy to find one that performs as well as the stock battery and pair it with a plug-in charger so I can swap mid-day if needed. It would be killer to find a battery charger for the car too.

Well the reason people buy extended batteries are because they're away from some type of charger, or don't want to hassle with a charger all day. I am one who wants to get the maximum possible out of a device, without compromising on reprogramming things to conserve battery. I'd LOVE to see a 1600 mah battery that got good reviews, but thus far everyone says since they're made with cheap chinese cells, it's really a 1200 mah battery labeled 1600.
I do plug the phone in while in the car, but it would be nice to have a spare battery charging while on the go as well, sort of a charge it and forget it type of thing in case it's needed while out.

This auction is back down to $4.89. A lot of the time, when a retailer is out of stock of something, they'll jack up the price of the auction, rather than having to pull/repost the auction. This way they don't have to pay the fee to have it removed/readded, but no one in their *right* mind would buy one. I've seen this a lot with Inspire accessories...no one can keep anything in stock.

I think the real capacity will be about 1100Mah zo 130 less then the original battery, as i'm in China right now I went one day on path to find me a spare battery for mine DHD and many just asked to high prices and I hadnt any faith that those higher Mah's would be really true.
So after looking at so many small shops in Guangzhou I came at this shop where the girl first needed look, being suprised that they where not selling battery's with false Mah's on, in fact it was a 1100Mah and I bought it just for 30rmb, all other sellers asked me about 40 a 50, one even dared ask more then 80.
The brand is Speedy, its a brand from Hongkong speedycom.hk/
It's to bad such brands wouldnt survive on eBay because most people will just go for the higher number even though the higher number is just a lie.
im interesting too

No the original htc battery is IMO the best battery on the market.
Guys, honestly I can't understand why you all want to try something that has been tried and proved several times to be fake.
Those guys make money on their lies and you help them expand and design their next lie which we will have to buy again before we realise the truth.
My opinion is that all people who bought similar batteries should return them and request refund because what they bought was not what was described. You bought a 1800/1500 or whatever mAh battery which was really 1240. If eBay or Paypal is involved, you can claim your money very easily.
buying batteries from these mass production factories from china is playing with your life dude....either they will short circuit your mobile board, else it will just blow up under slight increase of temperature.... please be caution and use only when your main original battery dies off and use this as backup and not for long hours usage....

The seller has a 99% Positive Lifetime feedback and they have a 30 day Full refund return policy for defective items. Plus they reimburse your return shipping costs.
The only thing I didn't like was the high shipping costs... $3.00 per item plus $3.99. And the fact I got charged sales tax since I live in California. I checked the sellers web site and they are based in San Jose, California. My order total was $17.81.
As far as the Anker battery, I'll be putting it to the full test when I get it.

In the other thread (confusing having two of them about the same battery ), someone who received his Anker confirmed that it's a little bit thicker than stock, but fits just fine in the slot and back cover.
I believe the situation is similar with the Chichitech battery.
Anker Battery
I purchased two Anker batteries for my Sensation about 3 wks ago and have used both of them extensively. I immediately noticed significant improvement in battery life first day which is what I'd hoped given the increased capacity of 1900mAh. It seems that I'm getting roughly 1/3 more battery life which is slightly more than the difference in mAh which could also be a factor of better battery quality. I can get through the entire day with little difficulty. A big improvement over the stock HTC battery.
Good looks! I just bought one. I can get about 9-11 hours of constant and heavy use. Hopefully this battery bumps it up to 13-16.

g2uzer, I had the same problem you did (Mugen being out of the MT4GS 1800 mAh battery when I finally accepted I had a bad pair of Ankers), but I found a workaround.
It turned out Mugen wasn't out of the 1950 mAh battery for the Sensation and I knew that the Ankers I was using also worked in the Sensation, so I took a chance. The fit of the Mugen is *very* tight (noticeably tighter than the Anker which I found a bit tighter than stock). I suspect that's why Mugen isn't selling them for the MT4GS.
Nevertheless it worked and I'm very happy with the results. The several days of 100% to near-zero usage Mugen recommends were painful. If I wasn't consciously heavily using my phone during the day (Bluetooth headset music, Bluetooth tethering my Transformer and plenty of screen on games/browsing time to boot), it would taked a fair bit of "work" (everything going plus max brightness and whatever else I came up with) to get to near-zero before I went to bed.
If you haven't gone in another direction, it is worth trying.

Ankaaaar!Pros
- Works great, runs a lot longer than stock sensation
Cons
- May cause reboots (I've had them, but after I discharged completely and charged again, it hasn't done so since.)
Mugaaan!Pros
- Closest to mentioned battery capacity
Cons
- Very expensive
- If you get the 3600mah, then possibly wifi and phone signal issues
Both are better than the stock, but personally - buying the mugen is not worth the price.
Another advantage to the Mugen is that it has working temperature sensors, which the Anker does not.
I have the 1950 mah Mugen and have been extremely pleased with it.
I've bought a couple of Anker batteries in the past for my Sensation and G2x, and I have to say they work pretty well. The most noticeable thing is that they don't get as hot, but they don't have temperature sensors, funny.
I would definitely go for Anker, although they make me worried sometimes because they are making these batteries in a Chinese factory...and I'm just not used to the idea of Chinese-made products working well.
Had an Anker for six months, never had any random reboots, battery life seems to be around 20% more than the stock battery.
For the money its a no brainer really.
Agreed! I personally like Anker over Muggen simply because of the price difference.

I run an Anker in both of my Sensations with no issues (knock on wood). For $40 bucks it's hard to go wrong.
As far as Chinese products go... Unfortunately, I trust many of them over US products. I know there are many cheap products from China, but I've also gotten many great deals either through import dealers and/or direct from China. The fact that these are being dealt through a reputable import dealer is a good indicator that they must be decent.

Sure do!
I ordered the mugen 1950mah today. I hope it's worth the money. Looking at what people say about the anker, it probably isn't. But, I'm willing to give it a try.
I would choose Anker. For the price of one Mugen I bought 2 Anker batteries with charger from amazon...
meredybanson said:
Mathematicly correct, but keep in mind that Mugen officially garantees 400-600 life cycles. In longterm 2 Ankers will last as much as one Mugen. So we are almost at the same price tag, so i would choose Mugen. Because ultimately 1 Mugen is as powerful as 2 (3) Ankers put together...
