Hi, recently I flashed Onecosmic's ICS 4.0.3 RC3 on my galaxy s....now the problem is that whenever I receive a call the MIC DOES NOT WORK !!
While when i make a call it works perfectly.....its pissing me off....as i dont want to leave ICS because of this silly problem.....nyone with a solution????
(P.S: I have tried reflashing other ics roms...like that of teamhacksung...but the problem exists...its only solved when i get down to gingerbread.)
Your not the only one. Let your dev know.

I'm having the same issue but it fixes after a minute during the call. Is this common?

Good day and great job everybody!
One question in advance, why is the MIUI 1.12.30 ROM advertised in the Sensation forum but only the 1.12.23 version available when you follow the download link?
Anyway here is the main deal:
I installed MIUI 1.12.30 in german by Sidy. Before that I wiped cache/data/dalvik/battery. After that I wiped cache/dalvik again and installed the Tiamat Kernel for the Sensation.
Now:
Whenever I am on a call and the proximity sensor gets active, i.e. the screen goes dark, it appears the call is dropped. The bars show no service and the drop call sounds.
BUT:
The call is not dropped. If you remove your head the call reappears as a notification in the top bar about 10 sec later.
This is not service bug, right? As I understood this had to do with the lockscreen...
I am now sure that I is connected to the kernel as it now first appears after the kernel flash. But what makes me curious is that this setup was actually running well until now. The only difference is that I tried out MIUI WP7 and ICS by Virtous with a lot of backup and restore inbetween. I know did a clean install as described above and the bug keeps reappearing.
Anyhow, does anyone have the same problem??
Does anyone know a kernel that runs well with MIUI on the Sensation??
(Had the same problem with Bricked 1.6)
Help is highly appreciated!!!
Bye Essi

ohh..i just noticed that
MIUI is being ported, I'm sure there is a post in the Dev forum. If not, Google it
Im not bothering to wait for CM9 anymore, i checked G+ every 6 hours or so hoping for some news from Kmobs or anyone else but ive given up! If you want a AOSP build with nearly everything working, stable and tweaks then go to the dev section and find the Virtuous Quattro build. Alpha 2 is out and apart from a few minor bugs the only things that dont work are camcorder and bluetooth.
I don't see CM9 happening anytime soon, if at all. Last I heard, kmobs left his Sensation somewhere..........by accident , plus he's in school and wouldn't really have time for it. Someone else was supposedly still working on it, but that was awhile ago. Quattro seems like it has a better chance of crossing the finish line.
I have a rooted HTC Desire S and I have installed AGPS patch 3.1 (tried all versions: google specific, alternate etc.) on the original firmware (2.3.3).
The problem is that after turning on GPS there is no reception at all.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks!
Have same issue have to reboot phone then get a signal any fix?
I use the old v1.3 on ICS Virtuous Quattro and that seems to work nicely for me. It took a while to get my position first time but now it's fast as you like.

i tried deactivating it on both fallout and cooldroid but no luck... i badly wanna use sense 4...help please!!
This is from my pm reply to the OP with regards to his query... Maybe this'll help others in a similar predicament...
Hi buddy. I think your problem is caused by the camera hardware revision that HTC put into the newer batch of desire s. There was a big discussion on this some time ago when a lot of newer desire s' were having camera bugs with cm7 based Roms but worked correctly with sense 3.x Roms. The issue was finally attributed to the camera hardware revision in some newer models.
I think you probably suffer from the same problem and may have to wait till the desire s ICS source code is released. That will help devs cook up a better more compatible Rom.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help as I now have a Galaxy S3 and barely use my desire s...
Swyped from my Galaxy S3.
thanks...i think ur right...i remember i had d same problem with cm7....need to wait for d official release :crying:
Hey Guys!
