I have a rooted HTC Desire S and I have installed AGPS patch 3.1 (tried all versions: google specific, alternate etc.) on the original firmware (2.3.3).
The problem is that after turning on GPS there is no reception at all.
Can anybody help me?

I use the old v1.3 on ICS Virtuous Quattro and that seems to work nicely for me. It took a while to get my position first time but now it's fast as you like.

Just installed InsertCoin it's awesome, but doesn't have location working, so GPS is kinda useless now...
Is there any Custom ROM that currently support Location with Sense 3.0?
Sorry I'm not able to download every ROM and test it as my internet is kinda slow..

Which version of InsertCoin are you using? The initial 2.3.4 leak had GPS issues but they were resolved quite a few revisions ago

I'm using InsertCoin 2.2.2. Everytime I use GPS it says Location is not available or something similar...
I still didn't flash the recommended radio as I'm researching a bit about radios before doing so, can this be the problem?

One question in advance, why is the MIUI 1.12.30 ROM advertised in the Sensation forum but only the 1.12.23 version available when you follow the download link?
Anyway here is the main deal:
I installed MIUI 1.12.30 in german by Sidy. Before that I wiped cache/data/dalvik/battery. After that I wiped cache/dalvik again and installed the Tiamat Kernel for the Sensation.
Now:
Whenever I am on a call and the proximity sensor gets active, i.e. the screen goes dark, it appears the call is dropped. The bars show no service and the drop call sounds.
BUT:
The call is not dropped. If you remove your head the call reappears as a notification in the top bar about 10 sec later.
This is not service bug, right? As I understood this had to do with the lockscreen...
I am now sure that I is connected to the kernel as it now first appears after the kernel flash. But what makes me curious is that this setup was actually running well until now. The only difference is that I tried out MIUI WP7 and ICS by Virtous with a lot of backup and restore inbetween. I know did a clean install as described above and the bug keeps reappearing.
Anyhow, does anyone have the same problem??
Does anyone know a kernel that runs well with MIUI on the Sensation??
(Had the same problem with Bricked 1.6)

Sorry to be a bother but I seem to have this problem.
I am unable to connect to any other WiFi network other than my previously setted up WiFi address during First Boot. Could you help me troubleshoot about this problem?

I have a similar issue, mine loses wifi connection often since 6.2.1 XE, the wifi signal is at full, but fails to obtain IP Address most of the time except on the first wifi i set it up with, most likely another one of those bugs HTC is working on so someone can take a copy home and give it to us... cant wait for full ICS from HTC source, dont get me worng, the current RUU leaks are good, but not perfect.
HTC Hurry up please, Me with my Sensation and my Girlfriend with her EVO 3D want ICS without bugs...

I have a feeling it has to do with the ROM.
I have flashed SebastianFM's kernels, new & old radios, and I still seem to have the same problem.
It is definitely not due to the Firmware since I have flashed multiple other ROM's but only ARHD seem to have the problem.
What I'm suspecting is that this problem is due to the mismatched Firmware and ROM since the rom is based on 3.25 and the firmware is 3.24. But who am I to say that.
Hope mike has a fix for that soon~ :x

Maybe i'm not googling correctly but I can't seem to find much information on this.
I have a ONE S with ICS 4 and Sense 4, my girlfriend has just updated her Sensation XE to ICS 4 and Sense 3.6 (I think).
The official HTC browser supports flash 11 in Sense 4 but the option is not there any more on my girlfriends updated Sensation.
Any fixes for this? Chrome beta doesn't have flash ether.
Dont really want to root it just yet if there is an easy fix.

Works perfectly fine for me.
I did a factory reset after the update, so had to download flash again but it works just as well as it did before update.
Perhaps thats your solution too?

Before this i had 4.0.3 ICS and my WI-FI and BLUETOOTH DIDNT WORKED
I rooted my phone instal revolution ROM and used the wifi fixes , NONE worked !
Then i installed Revelation 1.0.0-1.0.1-1.0.2 and the camera and wifi doesnt work
Reflashed Revelation 1.0.0 - camera and wifi wont work.
Now... please help me with a ROM with has JB , wifi , camera and bluetooth working?
Please help, it's kinda nasty without wi-fi and camera... though it's a nice ROM , revelation is not working for me !

Post your bootloader details and flash a RUU for your CID. If it still doesn't work then you have hardware issues

you can flash viperS rom 3.1.2
if you still have issues with wifi and camera then use a ruu.exe as above user suggested:good:
Looks like you aren't doing full wipes or super wipes
Super wipes are especially necessary when installing a sense rom..
Viper rom has super wipes built in its aroma installer, use that, or find a zip for it, it's all I the forums somewhere, usually on rom O.Ps

Try to flash kernel (boot.img) via Venom kernel flasher LINK : http://d-h.st/hhK
Just extract boot.img and flash it with kernel flasher.
