First rule of moto project club is you don't talk about moto project club...
If anyone had it you'd probably be able to find it...

Is anyone planning on starting a forum for the CDMA version of the Moto G? I know most stuff is the same, but there are differences...
Cheers
Putting [Q] in front of a general section doesn't makes it correct. Use the Q&A section for posting questions.

Differences like the hardcore lock down on the bootloader on the Verizon Moto G. I wasn't expecting Fort Knox, and it really bummed me out >.< I was looking forward to CWM and running some Xposed modules on here.

yeah, same here Totes. I was really hoping for a bootloader unlock. I followed the steps on the Motorola web site to see if my XT1028 could be unlocked, but it cannot. I would be happy with just root for now...
Has anyone rooted the xt1028 (Verizon) version of Moto G? If so, how would I?
Sadly, I think not. Throw me in the camp waiting for a solution.

Go read the kernel's thread, the answer is written there. If you can't find it, then don't even bother flashing kernels and such stuff, cos soon you'll be a posting threads that your moto g died and you can't recover it.
Hello guys,
As we all know moto g and moto g 4g arme almost similar, except external sdcard and 4g internet connection.
So I ask myself if moto g roms work on 4g edition? And much more interesting what do I need to change in rom.zip to get the sdcard and 4g internet connection to work in my Moto G 4G ?
Is there an easy way to port roms from g to g 4g, because for moto g there are much more roms available than for the 4g edition
Hope somebody can tell me
Regards nbock

Is anyone knows when the update will be available for this model?
I know that there was a part update for basic Moto G model from 2013.
Thank you for any replies,
Regards,
Tom
It seems like Motorola Engineers are not taking Moto G XT1032, XT1033, XT1039 and the another variants to serious, Phones with heavy UIs and apps like G3 and galaxy Note or Galaxy s5 has Lollipop.
Maybe after Google fixes memory leak problems in Lollipop.

I tested official CM12 and it has exacly same problem. ^
Heard news about a soak test that started today in India en Mexico... so I guess we won't have to wait much longer.
Same Question
I was asking myself the same thing, although if you want to you can simply flash the Brazilian official KitKat Firmaware (Be careful, I almost Bricked mine jajaja LoL), and then just install the Motorola Update Service app. This will let you update To lollipop.
