Hi,
A Super wipe will wipe all user data, and the ROM off the phone.
Make sure you back it up with Google ,Titanium Backup or 3rd party app from the market.
I would use nandroid or CWM backup. I haven't had good luck with Titanium backup for ICS. Also if you don't have paid version of Titanium you have to manually install each app.

Your contacts will be erased, but should be synced with your google account.

I don't use any data or speak any language but English. I have no need for stock apps such as HTC likes or HTC hub. Some of the widgets are just plain strange to me and I find them unnessessary. How do I delete things like that?

You have a few options freind. the easiest would be titanium backup but the most thorough would be Ron cleaner script to be flashed. I used it once but had to go back it actually got rid of too many things. Have to make my own script then ill flash it.
Try it out you will like it

Yes sorry auto correct sucks sometimes lol
If you're rooted & S-OFF you could try AntTek App manager, it let's you uninstall user and system apps, so just look through the list and remove any bloatware. Don't forget to backup first though.
Do a market search for bloat freezer. It gives you Titanium Backup Pro's freeze feature for free. It lets you remove it without actually removing it, just incase you need it down the road. It's either bloatware freezer or bloat freezer.
Boat freezer, I use it all the time

It's called Bloat/CIQ * Freezer - Free in the market. Great app.

I do like the idea behind it. I installed it and gave it a go only to find there's nothing I need to freeze! I used ROM cleaner when I installed ARHD.

If you're rooted, download Root Manager and browse to
/system/app
you can delete the .apk files from there (only things you're sure about!)
Make sure you do a nandroid backup first.
Who uses elegancia ?
I been using it for a week love it so far! It has a few glitches but its nice
How can I update the Rom? They release updates like every day!
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA
Same was as you installed it, going from one Elegencia Rom to another doesnt require a wipe so just download it to your SD card, go into recovery and select instal ROM from SD card. I all ways back up my stuff using Rom Manager, Titanium backup and SMS backup.
So basically to update the Rom I have to reinstall it again?
That's a pain

All you do is clear cache and delvik and flash the zip in recovery. You retain all your data on an update.
Is it really that painful?

You don't need to reinstall it or wipe. Just install over your actual ROM and you won't lose your configuration.

ROM Update
Yeah, as long as it's not a bigger update, you can just install over the old ROM. If the Wipe should be required, it will be noted next in the Changelog.
If you need to do a full wipe, just take a backup of your apps and data. And you are good to go in 10 minutes.

Hi,
Your nandroid backups are stored in sdcard/clockworkmod/backups.
Go into recovery/backup and restore ,and press restore when you want to restore.
O.k. so once I backed it up I can now instal my new Rom/and then whenever I want to reinstall the old Rom I then just hot restore and it goes on my sd card then I can reinstall it?so now do I do a full wipe minus the sd card. Please explain.

Hi,
Yes.
Once you have backed up,you can run a SuperWipe, which cleans the phone and prepares it for a new ROM.
The sd card is untouched.
Thank you very much. Takecare!!!

Hey inorder for me to see my backed up roms I need to restore them first correct then they will be viewable in sd card and on file folder?
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA
no, restore is a option to restore device to previous state. Say you don't want the new rom you just installed, you can wipe then restore to your backup.

O.k. so if I wanted to I could run a couple different roms then just do s full wipe and then hit restore and get my original 1st Rom put back on my phone.

Howdy all,
Is there a way to save what i see on my sensations screen when i change or update the rom? i like to change roms periodically and it would be nice to easily save what I see to a new rom. on the pc i mean the "desktop" but what is it called on android?
thank you in advance!
You can take a 'screenshot' of whatever is on you screen.
Press 'vol down'+'pwr' together, for some 2 seconds and a "screenshot animation" should appear.

Thank you, but what I am looking for is a quick way to restore all the items (widgets, icon) when i install a new rom without having to set it up manually.
Thank you

Just use DeskMigrate and/or titanium backup.
Download the apps from play store. Using titanium backup you can backup the current launcher (backup the data too). After flashing another rom install titanium backup again and restore the launcher. If you want all od the icons on another launcher just use deskmigrate app

Yes titanium backup works good for this

Remember though, if your ROM changes base, or you're switching ROM's, restoring data from titanium can have unpredictable results. Most likely launcher fc's or random reboots.
Periodic ROM updates (ie, goin from ARHD 6.x.x to 6.x.y) should be no issue.

If you are rooted you can backup all data/apps/settings using Titanium Backup.
Also, if you have a custom recovery like 4ext or cwm you can backup your current rom (what is called nandroid backup).
+1 nandroid backup & Titanium backup is what I use. If I ever get in a pinch I just restore my nandroid back up and I'm good to go!! Always always always do a nandroid backup! It WILL save your butt sooner or later when you need it! I know it's saved mine a few times!
