[Q] How to enable DTMF tones in IVR calls with speaker mode? - Samsung Galaxy R i9103

Hello,
When i called a IVR number with Indiatimes Shopping, i was required to select options by typing the numbers from my i9103 dial pad.
For some reason, it didnt recognise any of the numbers (i guess these are called dtmf tones...
Has anyone noticed this issue ?? My touch works fine and i am currently on 2.3.6 rom.
I called the same IVR number with my old moto xt720, and the dtmf tones work great.
Please let me know if there is a way to enable this feature.. i tried this many times and it didnt go through at all.

Looks like this is a known issue also reported on s2. I haven't had chance to talk to samsung service about this. Let me know if any of you noticed this issue!

On the latest released stock 2.3.6 rom from Austria, this issue is not there.

Dtmf ivr sdk
Hi,
I found a website that offers source samples I used to my project. Check it for help... It is for Ozeki VoIP SIP SDK and helps how to create DTMF IVR sample. This SDK also works with Asterisk and other PBXs. I can recommend it:
voip-sip-sdk.com/p_117-c-sharp-dtmf-ivr-implementation-voip.html
BR

I too have this issue
any solutions..
i dont want to root

Try installing the austrian stock rom XWLA4 (rooting not required) and check if the issue goes away. My DTMF tones worked with this rom.

Google Voice problems on 2.x ROMS

Anyone else having issues ?
I setup Google Voice as normal, and I only use if for international numbers.
When I try and make a call, GV starts, but then Sprint kicks in and tells me I cannot make calls to this number ?
Weirdly, it's not happening in Gumbo 1.5c which was my daily use ROM.
I am trying this on RegawMOD 2.0
I haven't heard of a good solution yet.
Does anyone know if GV works properly on the N1 and the Droid? Those two phones are "officially" running 2.1 now.
Wondering if it's a problem with 2.1 across the board, or if the problem only occurs on custom roms.....
For now what I've been doing if I really need a call to go out via google voice is just initiating the call through the web page. Not the best workaround, but it gets the job done.
The only "work-around" is that I can make calls through the web (use the browser), but I can't receive calls. I do receive pushed sms.
Install GV 2.0 (search forfor link), works like a charm on every 2.x I've used.
yupp.only version working is .2.thats what im using
In Damage's new thread (based on new Sprint Leak) there is a post that says this:

Then it's on! Oh Yeah. Giggity Giggity!
Works for me on DC2r2 although I was getting the same message at first. I had never used it before so I thought I just could dial the number straight out like a regular call but it doesn't work that way. You gotta call your GV number first then there is an option to make an international call. Press that option and enter the number and you should be good.
I have my phone set for GV to make my international calls only though. Don't know if setting it for all calls would allow me to dial the international number directly and not have to call my GV number.

[Q] International Dialing

Having searched this and various other forums I'll see if anyone here can help on this item. I've been using WM devices and XDA for many years and have now had to switch to a Droid 2 Global on Verizon due to work rather than choice. For over ten years I have entered my outlook contacts in the format +XX (YYY) ZZZ-ZZZZ where obviously, XX=country code.
When I dial by contact on the droid it fails and tells me the number is disconnected etc.
If I manually enter the number using this format with the "+" sign into the dialer then it switched the "+" to "011" and dials successfully.
If I create the contact on my phone and enter the "+" sign in the phone number it seems to automatically create a second number entry as "011" as well so it then dials successfully.
The odd part is several colleagues seem to be able to use their existing outlook contacts in the same format successfully.
I have tried switching on and off the assisted dialing and it doe snot seem to make any difference, calls still fail to go through.
I am using a D2G with a stock (but rooted) ROM
System 2.4.330.A956.Verizon.en.US
Android 2.2
Baseband N_01.48.05R
Apologies if I have missed something obvious, I know my way around WM but this is all new. Thanks in advance for any help.
I had a couple of issues with telephone number formats, installing the "More Locale 2" app (available on the market) seemed to fix them.
Mine was more a presentation issue though, I'm not sure if it will solve your dialer problem but it's worth a try.

[Q] Bluetooth Voice Dialing on Gingerbread

On Froyo, whether it be stock or Eagle's Blood, my bluetooth voice dialing works as its supposed to... I press the voice dial button, and my phone says "Speak Now", I say the name, and it tells me what name I said + "Dialing".
I can't speak for all Gingerbread builds, but on Paul's leak and CM7, I press the voice dial button, and I dont get any notification at all, nor do I get the confirmation when its dialing a name... I mean, it dials, and it calls out properly... but its annoying since I keep my phone in my pocket, and Im scared that it'll dial a wrong name without any confirmation...
Has anyone else had this experience?
Bump... Would really love some info on this...
Come on, doesn't ANYONE use bluetooth voice dialing with a handsfree device on gingerbread?
Please respond! Someone?
i also have noticed this on all gingerbread roms i've tried. Most recently InsertCoin Desire ROM

I am having the same problem, Did you figure this out?
I had issues with CM7 and bluetooth dialing, so I switched to EB 2.3.3, and haven't had but one issue. I had an app called Cyberon Voice Commander, and that failed to work properly on any GB ROM.
However, ChoiceDialer+ seems to be working just fine w/EB (2.3.3). Downside to CD+, is that you cannot (currently) use voice dialer and A2DP together on our phones...it will freeze up. I have to disable media connection on my phone to properly use CD+. I'm going to test out Vlingo, and see how that works out. Downside to Vlingo is, you have to use data connection.
If you're interested in trying ChoiceDialer, there is a free version available in The Market. Aside from the A2DP issue, it is a great app, and the Dev is very responsive.

[Q] Bluetooth redial and voice dialing on I4G

What happened to the voice dialing on my I4G? I just acquired it and was surprised to learn there is apparently no voice dialing (Gingerbread 2.3.5). Puzzling, since my HTC Status with Gingerbread 2.3.3 had the feature and it worked quite well. This seems like a basic requirement with use of a hands free device.
The redial also seems goofy as it redials the last call - whether it was outcoing or incoming, which causes problems if the last call was from a number with a blocked caller ID. Likewise, the redial feature is a basic feature for handsfree use and worked flawlessly on my Status.
Is this HTC's idea of progress? Are ther any viable workarounds?
BTW, I've tried two custom ROMS without complete satisfaction. The Gingerbread ROM had the same problem, the Jelly Bean ROM correctly redialed, but did not do voice dialing.

Call Waiting/ Conference call Won't Work on Any Rom - S6 G920K

Hey guys,
i have been searching everywhere for this but I haven't found solution, perhaps some of you guys might know something about this.
I have a Galaxy S6 920K, it is a Korean model which I am using in Canada as I bought it used here on craigslist. My issue is that no matter what rom including stock I have, no matter what CSC I have. The call waiting doesn't work, for example I am on call # 1 with someone and someone else, caller # 2 calls me, the call # 1 will disconnect while caller # 2 will have a regular ringing, but I never receive call from caller # 2 unless he leaves voicemail which I get notified. While caller # 2 is calling, the initial call # 1 disconnects automatically, hence I get disconnect from call # 1 and I don't even know I had call # 2.
As a temporary solution, I have disabled call waiting so that way my calls don't disconnect while someone else is trying to call me.
Conference call is same, if I am on call and want to add someone else, as soon as I dial the new number to add and call, the call would disconnect and while the initial caller will get that "hold" tone and I never get to speak to caller # 1 unless he disconnects and I/him calls me back.
1. The features are included in my plan, so it's not a provider issue.
2. I tried with friend's simcard who is with different provider and had the same issue
3. I know like many features are different in Korea, such as Shutter sound cannot be turned off on Korean phones, so I am not sure if these non-callwaiting/conferece features are due to restricted MODEM of this phone. I can't change modem to other modems as it gives me unknown baseband
Thank you for your help, looking forward for some explanation or solution
Anyone?
I got exactly the same problem with S8+ I bought in S.Korea and using in Israel. Have you had any success resolving this issue?
i have same issue in s8+ rom in g920k s6
No I didnt, I disabled call waiting from the phone so my calls don't connect, waiting for S9 to upgrade. Must be Korean phone issue
Your plan from carrier allows this feature? And try a different ROM.

Catalog? Also I don't get any errors the call just hangs up itself
Hi, was anyone able to solve this issue? Seems like this is the problem with all South Korean Samsung Galaxy phone models. Has anyone tried replacing the dialer? did it work for anyone?
