I did a search and wasn't able to find a thread specifically for the Mesmerize and Ice Cream Sandwhich. I've been told that we can use the same ROM as the Captivate. Is this true? If not does anyone have links to people working on a Rom for ICS on the Mesmerize?

You're wasting your time in this forum.
Yea and by the way you cannot use the captivate rom. Only fascinate.

Hi sorry if this is a way noob question. If I flash my HTC Amaze to the quicksense ROM, what happens when HTC releases the Ice Cream Sandwich for the Amaze? Will I still be able to update my phone to that?
Any help appreciated, thanks!
you cant do it OTA, when the release comes out you have to get the stock rom and flash it
or wait for a dev to make a rom which probably wont take long.
and you should have posted this in the htc amaze section, just saying
Hi all,
Yesterday I've installed the SkyRocket Ice Cream Sandwich following all the steps.
I've also installed the MMs Time Stamp fix.
From the market, SMS Time fix has been installed because there were 5 hours missing from receiving SMS...
Everything was going perfect. My SMS timestamp was perfect too.
This morning, 5 hours were added to my received sms....
So I've desinstalled the SMA Time fix installed from the Market and now everything is ok.
What could cause that ?
Another quick NOOBS question:
I've installed ICS... In my about section, I could see:
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.11+
Android Version: 2.3.6
When people talks about Ice Cream Sandwich, they talk about Android version 4.0 .
I'd like to know if this version is a real '4.0' ICS Android OS is it a 'look like' ICS ?
Thanks,
Punky

Ok just do little research and you will find that there is no ICS for our devices yet they will be here when saamy releases them. Just letting you know that searching the forum gives you all the answer for ur questions. And for sms time fix idk what's wrong but lots of ppl had that issues but i never had that issues.

Thanks for the answers....
I already knew that ICS is not available for our phone..... I would have install it !
I should have asked it this way: Is the Android version we have installed is doing the same job as the 4.0 at the OS level .....
For the SMS issue.... this morning, I had to reinforce it and add 5 hours to the incoming sms....

There is no android version that does same function as ics and Try flashing same radio that you have from Dev section it will fix ur problem.
Is anybody working on a stock ICS rom? I don't really wan the MIUI version. Also, is CM9 going to be ported to the Infuse? Thanks and I hope this has not been asked/answered before because I couldn't find it.
search around.... there are a bunch of threads on this topic. basically we don't have kernel devs. a few guys have bits and pieces but nothing complete. dman is part of the collective dev team and may work with one of there galaxy s kernel devs to get something together.
once one kernel is done then the cm9 and miui ports from the galaxy s are cake.
I gotcha. thanks!
I tried on my phone and then on my windows 7 pc. I'm trying to download Hellfire V2.0 and then 1.9 and the links in its creators official thread seem broken. Can anyone help?
Correction....looking for ice cream sandwich version that has android 4.0, sorry bout the confusion. None of the links work on any on the download posts.
are you referring to HellFire Phoenix which is version 2.0? that is GingerBread (uses CM7) or are you referring to HellFire Sandwich which uses CM9 ICS?
the links for Phoenix are working for me
