6700 stuck in 1.00 bootloader

I'm trying to prepare my old 6700 to give to a friend, but can't get it reflashed to the stock sprint rom (APAC_SPCS_20600_300_11200_ship.exe, downloaded directly from Sprint). It appears the phone is stuck in the 1.00 bootloader (dark screen, says "SERIAL" until I connect the USB, then changes to "USB".
MTTY couldn't connect (no "USB" in menu), but nueTTY can. The problem HERE is that once I'm connected, I have no idea what to actually DO. Searching returns about a thousand results, and all the results I looked at either didn't resolve the problem and left it hanging, or involved PMs that solved the problem for THEM, but left no information of enduring value for anyone ELSE to read. I've seen dozens of postings saying "use MTTY to run the exit bootloader app", but no hint of what that app actually IS, or how to go about launching it.
So... with the phone tethered via USB, 1.00 bootloader active, and connected via nueTTY... what do I do next?

HTC Fuze purchased on eBay-Exiting bootloader

Hey guys, I purchased a locked HTC Fuze from eBay, and I was using Olipro's unlocker to unlock it, however I got stuck in bootloader mode before step three somehow. I cant get the phone to run activesync either.
Initial Screen:
"RAPH 110
SPL-1.90. OliNex
MicroP-Raph (LED) v13
MicroP-Raph (KEY) v5
PSOC- Raph STAGE_CUT x0x36
Upgrade ROM code error
Please Try Again
Serial"
After I hold the volume down + enter + Soft Reset with the stylus
"This operation will delete all of your personal data, and reset all settings to manufacturer default. Press volup to restore manufacturer default, or press other keys to cancel"
I pressed volup then it says "Restory.... waiting to be completed" once it finishes it says press volup to boot. Then it goes back to the initial screen which says
"RAPH 110
SPL-1.90. OliNex
MicroP-Raph (LED) v13
MicroP-Raph (KEY) v5
PSOC- Raph STAGE_CUT x0x36
Upgrade ROM code error
Please Try Again
Serial"
Did i manage to corrupt the ROM? Any help will be appreciated, I have been researching this problem for hours
You should flash a stock rom with a usb connection. It should fix your problem. You have hard spl, and your bootloader is good to go, so I don't think you'll have a problem. I had a bad radio flash a few weeks ago (corruption on my sd card seemed to cause it), and I was stuck in the same spot you are. A quick flash of a stock rom fixed it. Just look up the stock ATT rom and give it a go. You'll be fine. Then flash whatever you want.
To get the usb connection to work, open up active sync on your pc, and under connection settings make sure the 'allow usb connections' box is unchecked.
Alright, on the bottom of the screen it now says "USB" because its plugged into the cable. But im running vista, and I cant get the Fuze to show up on the Windows Mobile Center.
Hey Farmer Ted, Thanks for the help man. It is greatly appreciated, I found a ROM over here.

Great Website guys. Im off to unlock and flash to 6.5 now. Haha.
I'm having the same issues as the OP. I've got the exact same error issues, and I also cannot connect to active sync. I have a Mac, so I had to borrow someone's PC. They have Vista, and I downloaded Windows Mobile Device Center, but I'm unable to connect via USB. I unchecked Allow USB connections, but is there anything else that should/shouldn't be checked as well? The options are:
Allow connections to one of the following: COM1, COM2, Bluetooth. (Default setting had it checked and set to Bluetooth.)
This computer is connected to: Work Network, Internet, Automatic (default)
Allow automatic device authentication (checked)
Allow data connections on device when connected to PC (unchecked)
Khoyifish, how did you get it to show up?

[Q] evo 4g questions after root

I have rooted my sprint evo 4g but have some minor issues/questions.
1. I cannot use the market. Is there a way I still can as well or is there only third party markets and what are some good ones?
2. When I use my hotspot, my laptop will connect but I can't get any internet access after the first 2 minutes when I tried. My phone internet is working but on the hotspot it is saying, "" Also a window quickly comes up that says I might have a problem with my pcs vision connecting.
3. How in the world do I delete the useless sprint apps like blockbuster and nascar? I am running clockwork mod right now. I have that super user app but nothing is in it when I open it which leads me to number
4. In trying to gain super privileges, I went into the hboot then into the recovery thing and tried the option that said "fix permissions". That didn't give me super privileges but do you know what it did and is that bad?
the error code that I get when using the hot spot is "error 67. Registration failure. Your PCS Vision username and/or password may be incorrect. Please try again." But it is the one that I created so I'm not sure what the deal is...My laptop connects to it fine and when I connect it says that a device is connected but at the top it says, "No mobile network." Please help me

QPST???

I have tried multiple times to connect to the evo shift in QPST, but i cant get it to work. Has anybody gotten QPST to work with the evo shift, and if so, how?
If all you want to do is setup QSPT, you can use THIS video.
That works for the EVO 3d (I own one, and have changed values with it before). I just keep getting some "connection failed" message with the Shift?
My EVO Has A V8. Does Yours?
Update your PRL and Profile, then reboot. What Rom are you running?

[Q] MMS problem with HTC Surrond on T-Mobile USA Network

Recently unlocked an AT&T HTC Surround to use it with my T-Mobile service and everything works fine except I can't receive or send MMS messages.
Can someone PLEASE PLEASE help me? I've googled and search everywhere and all I get is to download the Connection Setup App but apparently it doesn't exist anymore?
Also, I saw something about using Mango? But I'm confused about that.
For some reason, HTC has pulled the Connection Setup app from the marketplace (no official reason that I've seen as to why). They haven't revoked it from phones where it's already installed, but if you don't have it already you can't just install it from the HTC Apps section anymore.
If your phone is dev-unlocked (and interop-unlocked if on Mango), you can sideload Connection Setup and it might work. If not, I can't help you. Sorry!
How do I dev-unlock and interop-unlock on Mango? I downloaded Mango but have no idea how to use it on my phone.
Right now my phone is just unlocked so I can use my t-mobile sim card and service on it. I don't know what that is called?
From what I've heard is you just hard reset it and it should be fine?
@wedbaby: If you phone is on Mango already, there's no known way to interop-unlock an HTC phone without rolling it back to pre-Mango. Dev-unlock can be done by getting an official developer account ($99 unless you're a student) or through ChevronWP7 Labs (http://labs.chevronwp7.com) for $9. It has nothing to do with SIM-unlock (what you did to your phone already).
MMS issue on HTC Surround for TMobile solved

1. Go to settings.
2.Choose cellular.
3.Set Data transmission to on.
4.Roaming- setting does not metter.
5.Here comes the trick: Network selection has to be manual, manually select TMobile.
6.Enjoy
I have three HTC Surrounds in my family. All of them have DFT Mango rom installed, and they are unlocked (sim and dev).

7.Tap the bottom of the screen to pull out a pop-up
8. Tap MANUAL SELECT

12. Once it shows that it has configured to the network...power your phone off n then bck on...
THEN TRY AND SEND URSELF A MESSAGE!!!...HOPE IT WORKS FOR YOU!!!
Short version: "Use the Connection Setup app". You might not have noticed, but when this thread was posted that app wasn't available in the marketplace (the OP specifically mentioned it). Thanks for necroposting, though!
Wow!!!!...thanks...smh... I apologize for givn a step by step set-up!!!...smh
And there is availability of a xap to install? And not found in the market
Connection Setup shows up in the market just fine for me... are you not on an HTC phone?
It's under the HTC Apps section.
