Hello, I assume Im not the only one having this issue.
Chat messages dont arrive properly when Im logged in to both wlm on my lumia 800 and wlm on my laptop. They arrive just fine on both if a contact starts a new conversation, and when i reply via the phone, but when i reply on the laptop, messages cease to arrive on the phone. Sometimes when i load the hub, they do arrive all of the sudden again until i reply via the laptop again. Is this an issue caused by the end-user or by the software, and is anything known about an upcoming fix? I googled related keywords but wasnt able to find this issue anywhere else, noting that I dont even know what to call this issue.

I tried to install Microsoft's Outlook SMS add-in recently, which is meant to make desktop outlook work with text messages as well as emails, via your pocket pc. However, once installed it told me that I needed service pack 1 for windows XP which I dont have, so it wouldnt work. SO I uninstalled it...
It came off the computer fine but it left my Pocket Outlook in a mess and I cant sort it out. At first, my inboxes (for sms and email) were replaced with a new folder call 'IPM:root'. This folder contained all usual items such as inbox, outbox etc except they were all permanently empty. I got around this by restoring to a backup from the pervious day which was fine, but now the IPM:root folder has randomly reappeared!
The odd thing is that when I have new emails or texts, they show up on the today screen, but when I press them it takes me to an empty inbox.
Any help would be hugely appreciated, or I will have to do a hard reset, my last one was only about a week ago!!

I found no solution.. I did a 'hard-reset' and didnt try to use that software again as it is very broken. This is annoying but necessary.
I posted request for solution weeks ago and never heard anything. Couple people also had same problem but only way to fix it hard reset.
I noticed the help in all my programs are also blank now. Which leads me to believe outlook and help uses some display program which got corrupted.
I had the same problem and the only way I found to fix it was to delete the exchange server from ActiveSync while connected to the PC and then I reconfigured it by unplugging and plugging the device from my machine.

I have an issue with the synchronization of some of my contacts with the Mail2webserver (Simingly no issue when sync with my PC - though it happens from time to time)
Basically, very often, if ever I fill the field "Notes" (Where I can put extra comments or notes about the contact; in Web2mail they call it "Attachments") from my device, in many cases I cannot sync anymore this contact, and any further update is lost. I first get an error message saying it could not sync the contact. Error message happens only once, afterwards it doesn't display any error but the contact doesnt get updated at all. If ever I update this field online on web2mail outlook server, then I can sync with no issue and my device gets the updated contact (Including the "Attachments")
It is reall weird and creates me a lot of trouble (I though my phone was backed up and I lost a lot of information and contacts because of this)
My device is an Hermes using WM6. I use Pocket Informant but I dont think the problem lies there (It happened also without it)
Has someone encountered the same problem ? Any fix ? Any idea ? (Could be some fonts it doesnt like ? Something else ?)
It is really troublesome since I cannot trust the integrity of my data and I know now that I cannot trust the sync of my device... (After the bitter experience of losing some data I will never be recover...)
I am pretty sure this must have happened to other people... I hope to find some help on this...

I've already posted this on the Rose forum, but i'm positive it's something fundamental ive missed on account of this being my first real HTC device.
I've just picked up my S740 and i'm trying to get it working with my Three sim card. The phone and the internet work oK, but i can't seem to get MSN working. I just get a cannot connect message.
In fact, i've even connected to my wifi network and messenger still does not want to work. There must be something simple i am missing!
I've even downloaded parlingo but it does not connect to either msn or yahoo messenger. The odd thing is that i browsed to the parlingo site on the phone, downloaded it on the phone, but when i run it can't connect.
I hope someone can help.

Uninstall Parlingo, you can use WLM easyly

OK, i've worked out the problem.
There's nothing wrong with the phone. The problem is with the f*@#ed up 3 Mobile SIM which totally locks up the device and does not allow you to do anything. I suspected something was up when i couldnt install the newer Live file due to insufficient rights.
So for anyone searching for a similar issue, you cannot use this device with a Three mobile SIM. Unless someone knows how to unlock it?
Hi guys, I dont know what hapenned with my raphael... I messed up in all configurations at account settings and it havent solved the issue.
When I receive emails, once I open the email and close it, going to the "house" of tf3d, later, if I go again to the email, the message disappears, without passing by the "deleted items", my messages are all running out the mobile, without one action
does anybody know how to fix it?

is it possible that the message is getting routed to another folder? also what type of email acct are you using? exchange, imap, pop?
hi guys, im back again, was traveling... and by the travel I deleted my email account, also installed it again and the issue keept. I use a POP3 email, and is the same email used on my outlook express of my desktop pc.
Damn... sometimes my emails comes and I cant only read it, if I dont take it fast, the email disappears... without deleting.
Once i see the "(1)" in my email box I have to see it imediatelly, because if I hope sometime I stay without it.
I wanna install my email guys, I need it, it is one more rason that made me buy this fuze, please, anybody know what is happening? This issue started in a few days, because before I ever used to send/receive emais by here, without problems

Hey all, I bought a HTC Touch Pro from Alltel back in December and have had zero issues with it till just recently. I ended up needing to do a hard reset and was able to back up all of my contacts/sms messages/etc... via another cab that I found on here. Since doing the hard reset, my msn.com email address is giving me crap when I try to sync it. When I say "giving me crap" I mean that it simply will not sync. When I hit the send/receive button, it goes straight to the "finished" notification, doesn't even appear to try to synch the folders at all. Also since the hard reset it automatically opens Windows Live, which it never did before. I created a gmail account just to see if it was an msn.com email issue. The Gmail inbox updates just fine, no issues at all, but the msn email just refuses to even try to sync. I'm not running any crazy roms/themes/cabs, all I have are the nocurtains, clear slider, and glass clock cabs installed, just purely visual cabs.
Anybody have any ideas on what I might be able to do to get windows live to stop opening automatically and get my msn email to actually sync? The msn email is my main one and I'd like to be able to access it on my phone. If my problem has been addressed here, I apologize, but I was unable to find it being addressed anywhere here or anywhere else for that matter. Maybe I'm just dumb and cant use the internet, but I was unable to find my answer elsewhere so I figured I could start a new thread and ask people who are more tech savvy than I am. Your help is greatly appreciated and I thank you all in advance.
