Hi 2 all,
I have 2 simple questions. They are not a big problem, but they are annoying.
1. Can I sort my pictures in gallery so the last taken shot will be displayed first in Camera Shots album? I have ~500 pics, and when I want to see last one, I need to scroll down till last one
2. Automatic Brightness unchecks it self randomly... How can I prevent this from happening?
Thnx.

Mine also disables automatic brightness. I think it is after having taken a picture.
The gallery also annoys me... it's the wrong way round!

Gallery photos in wrong order
Did you get a fix to re-order Gallery photos to latest first?
No, there is no possibility to change it.
Maybe someone who has ICS ROM installed knows if it is possible to change it?

Thanks for the reply, I hope ICS gets this right.

Hi all,
I am still very new to my Xoom (have only had it for about a week) and I have noticed what seems to be a glitch with the "wallpaper resizer/cropping tool" in the gallery when I am trying to set new wallpapers.
On all of my other Android devices (past and present) when I resize the picture to make it may wallpaper I can simply do so by using 2 fingers (pinch to zoom) but when I try this on my Xoom it is only recognizing one finger at a time and I have to resize by moving the box down, then to the right, then up, then to the left, etc.
Does anyone else have this issue and if so does anyone know how to fix it?
Please advise...
Thanks in advance...
That's going to be the least of your concern. I'm trying to figure out how to enable the whole wallpaper instead of cropping it.

LOL... Ya... I read your thread as well. I can get my wallpapers to work from the gallery using the crop feature but it is a pain in the a$$ to do when it wont work properly...
One easy way to get all of the wallpaper to view is to install wallpaper slide show. It's a live wallpaper but it allows viewing of the whole thing.

Hi all,
I had this same problem until another thread on this forum where some one mentioned the Live Wallpaper app that solves these problems and works really well you can give it a try as its free.

Can someone tell me how to configure the app? When I click on folders it FC's.
Hi all,
I've found two bugs which are becoming a real pain, any ideas on how to fix them?
Bug 1 - page reload
Go to this page
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2020588/Helen-Mirren-told-pull-Phil-Spector-film.html and for me it keeps reloading, each time with a bigger and bigger margin, this happens on a few sites.
Bug 2 - image size
When looking at photos in some apps (both google+ and facebook) the images load and scale zoomed in cropping the right side of the image, zooming out doesn't let me view the whole image.
Any ideas?
Thx

i have faced both the problems
i don't think there is a fix for it yet
the first bug happens for me only in webpages with a lot of images on them,it looks like the browser doesn't have enough memory to display all the images at once
i have also seen the second bug a few times on the android browser
Hi both,
thanks for the reply, really appreciate it, thought I was going a bit mad!
I've found a kinda fix for the image bug, simply turn the phone 90Deg to landscape and then you can see the full image
cheers all
Hey I'm wondering how to fix this haxsync issue or is it just the app. A lot of my picture syncs are blurry and low res even though I checked "force redownload". When I manually go into the settings and into contacts its blurry but after I click the crop button it re downloads a high resolution picture. I don't wanna do this for EVERYTHING contact... Probably hard to see but the first pic is very low res. Idk why the full size photo wouldn't upload

Same here, it was working fine few days ago..
Why does nobody check the official FB page before creating new threads? https://www.facebook.com/HaxSync/posts/430832546964821
My wife's AT&T One X just started doing this weird thing where instead of the normal crop interface within the stock gallery app, it's putting boxes around any faces it detects and won't let us do a "normal" crop (with the resizable rectangle). How do we get rid of this? Just want to resize a picture and we can't.
Stock ROM, HTC Gallery application.
Thanks,
- Brett.

I just noticed the same problem with my HTC One. I don't know which moron thought this was a good idea but it need to be gone and soon! I can no longer crop a photo to just include the people. It's a lone face or nothing. Who thinks that junk is useful?

Try going into camera settings and turn face recognition off. It may work.

Didn't work, unfortunately. What a stupid idea. How often do people create contact photos?
Has anyone found a way?

Not on my HTC One with Sense 5. I turned off face detection, took a photo of people (faces aren't detected), then hit Edit, Transform, Crop. The "Touch a face to crop" message pops up immediately and the faces are highlighted. I can't custom-crop unless I go through a slow process of tapping a face and expanding the crop boundary several times, making it zoom out bit by bit.
I'm on 1.29.841.2.

Works just fine for me on CleanROM 6.5, and on past ROMs I've been on. Crop "frame" starts at a face, but I can resize and reposition it, as you would expect to. Face detection is "on" in camera settings. I don't think this is an issue with the way the feature is designed, but maybe just a glitch on certain devices/ROMs or a setting issue.
Hello,
Today i purchased a Google Pixel 2 XL 64GB model. I was a proud owner of the Google Pixel XL.
There is one thing bugging me on the 2 XL. Whenever i take photos using the stock camera app with the front facing camera the lighting corrects in such a weird way so photos look really weird.
This also happens with other apps like Snapchat and Instagram.
Does anyone know if i can turn off color correction for just the camera or something?
Thanks in advance!
Please upload an example of your issue.

Please see the YouTube link below - I believe they address the issue of pics taken vs. pics viewed via phone display vs. pics viewed via Instagram/Snapchat. This critique is towards the end of video

Color correction
The video didnt come close to the actual problem im having.
For example when i try to make a selfie using snapchat or instagram, before i take the picture my face has pale natural color which is perfect. when i took the picture and look it up in my Photo gallery it just looks awful.
My skin color turned greyish. This has nothing to do with the lighting in the area im in. Ive tried many different areas when taking pictures and they all result in the same weird greyish color
Pics or it didn't happen...
There is some known issue's with Pixel 2 and will be fixed by releasing patch and this would be a permanent solution.
Take a picture with hdr+ off and see if there any difference.
Here are some examples
This one is a picture before it has actually been taken, so its a preview

This is the actual saved picture
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1G2KVE_I0oeCKC9lp4hNHzo6YfhhWlshing
As you can see it has some difference and the saved picture just looks worse.
Another example.

Did you reboot? This is, I think, the way it works.
The Visual Core you enabled doesn't work for the viewfinder preview in non-stock-camera apps, and I'm not sure it ever will.
Either turn hdr off in these apps if you prefer the blown-out look, or use the stock app and add to instagram app

I have no idea how to turn off hdr off for specified apps like instagram or snapchat
I honestly don't see the issue in your samples. The only thing I noticed is that you're using snap chat which takes terrible low resolution photos. That night be one reason why the image looks so bad.
its a problem of snapchat, try taking pic in instagram with pixel core on , instagram, facebook, twitter take awesome photos but snapchat its a trash

I downgraded to an older version of snapchat and now the quality is fine again!
