To all LG P920 end users, I would need your comment & feedback if you have upgraded your LG P920 base on below reference to 21A so far and have there been any issues you're noticing?
I actually want to try this new GB 2.3.5 version as I can't wait for LG to upgrade through official LG update tool anymore as there are about 3 months already in waiting.
One more question, what are the big changes from froyo 2.2 to GB 2.3.5 you have noticed?

GB Seems to have
Slightly better battery life
New status bar icons,
An unshaded status bar (The Froyo status bar had a white to grey gradient, while GB is just black).
Two fingers can both move and zoom on stock gallery (Froyo was zoom only.)
Better gallery - Pictures in the froyo gallery were lower quality than they actually were. The GB Gallery shows them at full resolution. Also has more animations
Dolby Digital sound
Video stablizer for 2D as well as 3D (Froyo only had it for 3D)
Video editor (Useless?)
Black instead of offwhite menu bar. Looks nicer imo.
3D Button takes a picture instead of changing camera to 3d mode
The right hand camera bar with controls will become transparent if a widescreen video is being taken.
Music player's horizontal rotation is 1 line of album arts, instead of 3 (or 4, cant remember how much). I actually prefer the 3/4 rows of album art, as it looked better and was easier to use.
Also, Scrolling seems to be changed so that the menus don't follow your finger, but instead smoothly move to the position of your finger. This annoys me.
Froyo seems to be somewhat faster (Dungeon defenders seems to be able to handle situations with lots of stuff better than GB).

Yeah. I used this method to flash GB. You can flash 21B, but its almost the same as 21A and can't be rooted.
Some people seem to be getting missed calls, but it hasn't happened to me.
Agree with 314. If you will have problems with signal you can back to stock froyo.

I was looking for a simple custom ROM that ran my apps smoother when I ran into this version of an old CM ROM http://android-roms.googlecode.com/files/cyanogen_JFv1.51_CM3-ADP.zip . I was wondering if there would be a build like this for the new 1.6 donut firmware, because the newest CM build gives me the problem of laggy/sticky keys on some of my games, where as the normal rooted build just ran slower. Any thoughts?

I was hoping that there were some subtle differences that made the apps run smoother, and if that could be replicated for the new firmeware. This version was stripped down (no battery graphic on lock, 3 screens not 5) and it was the smoothest/fastest I could find, but it wasn't like the other mods. It was also very stable. Sorry for starting a new thread if I could have just posted in one of his CM threads.
cyanogen advised if you had problems with games running slow to disable the lock home app in memory option in spare parts which should free up some more ram, have you tried this?
I have had this same issue on his older builds as well, so the keep home in memory option is not the issue. The game would be working no lag at all, but the response to button input stops for a few seconds, while the game still continues lag free.

Hello I ve used SNS for quiet a while (GB Collab) and just updated to GB collab 10.12 which it is based on 2.3.3 and the color and the display really annoys me, for example, when I go in to the menu the 3D effect of the apps are blurry and unable to see unless I scroll them up. Also the colors are not clear...is this supposed be like this? or it is just my phone? I heard that the color temperature change was intentional....but seriously?

how do you install this?
Its zip file and install it using Recovery ... same procedure as we use for MIUI and CM7

nothing related to ICS, its a local MIUI version, with some updated features. Not bad, except galery app FC

You guys already migrated to ICS and still you dont support 720p recording which GB supports.. This is one of the reason I dislike CM7 based roms.
Can you please upload the stock-version of the port or isn't it working actually?

You are wrong. The Defy doesnt support officially HD recordning with or w/o the GB.

Not officially but it is possible on the GB ROM's with RED lense. That is the only reason i allso do not use CM or MIUI yet. I would love to use CM or MIUI when they have 720p recording.

Tried this rom. Didn't find anything different from regular Miui rom. According to me this is a fake ICS rom. Only the build number is being changed which I think can be easily done by editing build.prop

This is a project to mix and port LG Prada 3.0 system to our LG O3D.It is working almost 100% but it is already good for daily use.LG Launcher 2 rolls much smoother than our LGHome one and it is a lot faster than everything I've tried before on O3D. Prada is way faster, cause it is already optimized to a screen as big as ours with same resolution while spectrum has all its .apks optimized to 3 different resolutions so they are very very big. Gonna stick with Prada for now, cause what I really wanted was the new LGHome2 to work and I got it to. . No lags on scrolling anymore. . A big problem is that those devices are running Android 2.3.7.

oh right i forgot prada res the same as ours
well...if that's the case...then there's absolutely no need for the spuctrum rom
and about the 2.3.7....isn't pulling the required files of launcher to our phone not related to the the version(.5 vs .7)....and if its related...were exactly the problem you are facing?
i can only image prada's launcher on your v2.5 rom+the 20e software instead of the 21a...which reported have no lag in 1080p(according to abo mara7)and RTL

The 2.3.7 apps just don't run on O3D, this is a problem, so I have to change for old ones, than more problem comes cause some other apps may be related to those I took away, so system start to FC . But it is going good and yes that is my dream ROM, and it will be real soon.
Got telephony fully working. ROM will be released today.

Well, we have a camera with zoom right now, and the quality together with the working Sony bravia engine seems better than before for me. . Took some pictures now and made a movie, quality without flash on a poor light place is much better than our camera app with flash.
