DarkSide 4.5.9. musicplayer is missing, was the same on 4.5.5. I hope, that newer builds can be installed as update (without formatting)
Did you try posting in the actual thread containing said rom? Did you download the lite version?
Sent from my MB860 using XDA App
...I only posted it here, because I'm an new member and are not allowed to post in dev's. Yes I chose the lite-version, because I only want my hardware running. I don't need other blur-stuff, but I thought, that a music-player is an essential part of lite-blur.
Do you know, if there is a version, that can be installed as an update (without formatting with ext4, if ext4 already exists)? In CM it was possible to install a newer version over an older without wiping, so all data, apps, and settings were kept.
For better "support" you could post it in the Atrix general forum, instead of "General" general Anyways, if the said player is in previous version of rom, just download this older version on your computer, and extract musicplayer apk from rom zip archive (it's probably going to be somewhere in /system/apk ), and load it into your phone.
cheers

BTW... I have the same version of DS (4.5.9 lite) installed right now, and I see that the music player is included (the one from moto blur).
cheers
I installed the full blur now and now the player is installed. No chance with the lite version. I posted this here, because I didn't knew that it was Atrix specific.
Anyway, thank you for your answer and quick reaction...

So, I have a Samsung Captivate, and I've been enjoying the game/puzzle 7 Little Words. My mom (the X10 owner) always plays it on my phone and would love to have it on her X10. Unfortunately, she cannot find it in her market, the app does not support App2SD (as far as I can tell), and my attempts at sideloading have failed. If it changes things, she is running unofficial Froyo.
Is there any way I can get her this game?
Thanks in advance.
You might have to modify the fingerprint in the build prop.
one sec I'll find a good link

Here you go!

Or, just upgrade her phone to official 2.3.3 and it will now be compatable
Use SEUS or PCCompanion to upgrade, both are free downloads from SE website
KitKat (AND NOT LOLLIPOP):
These are based on the hammerhead/deb/flo/mako developer drivers from HERE.
Version: OpenGL ES 3.0 [email protected] [email protected] JHICKS_AU_LINUX_ANDROID_KK_3.5.04.04.02.003.389+PATCH[ES]_msm8974_KK_3.5__release_ENGG ([email protected])
What I did:
I copied the deb-flo-mako firmware folder ingredients into the hammerhead ones to have all firmwares updated which are included in the stock system folder, too and moved the firmware folder from /vendor to /etc. I modified the updater script, too to be sure it finds the right system drive and mounts it nicely.

CHANGELOG
Lollipop (AND NOT KITKAT):
EDIT: Link taken down for now due to HW+ problems @ video playback!
New Lollipop driver v95 from Moto G extracted by SeannyM: OFFLINE for now!
Version: OpenGL ES 3.0 [email protected] [email protected] ([email protected])
AnTuTu before: ~41200ish and after ~42600ish
HOWTO:
Flash via Mobile Odin or TWRP/CWM.
WARNING:
NO GUARANTEE THAT IT WON'T KILL YOUR PHONE!!! Mine still works and that better than ever, but if it does, your fault! ^^
MAKE A BACKUP IF YOU FEAR A DEAD PHONE!
KNOX 0x1!!!!
My intention is/was to fix several bugs in their drivers to get Dolphin Emulator run nicely.
It became way better already, but is still badly distorted on KitKat.
The added Lollipop driver fixes most hiccups. Looks really nice now.
What is this?
I can try it, but still have my thoughts about it, because of the port-ism of it. Will try when the green light for this has been lit. Still why don't we massively contact the dolphin developer?
sonicadvance1 from the Dolphin dev team recommended to always update the Adreno drivers, because they are buggy as hell in OpenGL ES 3 matters. He filed a dozen bug reports over at Qualcomm's and some even were fixed by now. Some bigger ones causing the bad distortion are still there, but it starts to progress well. These are NO Dolphin bugs, these are evil misbehaviors in the drivers against the OpenGL ES 3 standards causing flipped framebuffers and way more funny things. The drivers work and are 100% compatible to the Adreno we use.
Video from sonicadvance1 explaining the steps to do.
So how do we install it? By manually move the files over to the system file or is it a flashable zip file?

Flashable ZIP file. Use Mobile Odin OTA/ZIP File mode or a custom recovery.
I can decide for flashing ? Will this help for performance and battery too ? or is it only driver ?

it's got nothing to do with battery................read!!!
How i know which driver i use now because i wont replace drivers if is same does i can use this on any rom?
flashed and works fine, n900t
mokee open source rom 4.4.4
gonna test some stuff now
ok so some quick testing done and... no difference in game performance in fpse, espxe and reicast. same games, same speed issues and glitches.
example. silent hill 1 on fpse or espxe, bar in the beginning of the game, especially fight with a bat. same framedrops.
so not sure if there is any benefit.
thanks anyway.
Flashed....!!!
So, I have flashed it and it's successfully done, now dear dev can you tell how to feel the difference, will it improve the benchmarks, or will it improve graphics, plz share.
Changes are HERE. It won't help much in performance matters, mostly there are bugfixes and stability improvements.... yet. As soon as there's another new one, I will make it available here, too. At least Qualcomm seems to progress quite well in fixing the big flaws still left. These wont just help Dolphin, PSX emulation uses framebuffers, too. So, it might fix stuff here, too. Mostly any app which REALLY uses OpenGL ES 3 will benefit of that new one.

Sorry, I overread that. I tested it on OFFICIAL FW with some modifications, like dumped KNOX crap and root + Ultimate Kernel. It should run on ANY Touchwiz ROM based on the official Version or S5 ROM. AOSP/AOKP... no clue. Never tested. Open Dolphin About page or Antutu Device Information page and check if the driver version it shows there is the one you can read above. If not... then the pathes are different there and it needs fxing.
No problems on NG1 odexed. Used for over a week, i have seen no difference so far.
i'm planing to test it on liquidsmooth 3.2.
but i have checked in antutu and my n3 have version of driver OpenGL ES 3.0 [email protected] [email protected] which is newer than OpenGL ES 3.0 [email protected] [email protected] as i understand so i will not try this one
that's why in latest liquidsmooth aosp rom have good camera photos now
On xxuend3 442 are working just fine. All my gta games are higher frames now, gameplay is better now.

Hi, I am getting awful battery lasting time - while working on the phone it is dead within 2 and half hours. If I leave it on stand-by, it lasts maximum 10 hours. I'd like at least 20 hours on stand-by and I don't want to use Greenify and xposed. I just think I need an updated kernel, but I want to stay on this rom - 10.2.1 unless there is another one just as stable as this one?
Here are my details:
CM10.2.1 rom with 3.44.66 kernel
Can somebody please teach me how to install just the updated kernel? Is there a CWM flashable .zip of the kernel only, and if so - could you please attach that .zip to your post? Thank you very much in advance!
Sent from my SGH-T699 using XDA Free mobile app
I use kernel tuner and underclock both CPU to 1350. And I undervolt also but you would have to use blackbird kernel for that. I hope this helps.
I am a noob; I don't know how to install just the kernel. Also does blackbird kernel work with CM10.2.1? Where do I get that kernel from? Can u attach it to ur post? If it is just a .zip file that I can just flash it with CWM. I really need help, detailed instructions and the file. Thank you very much in advance!

Here's the link, but it is for 4.4.4 kitkat. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2725435
Not sure how it would run on 4.3.1 . I myself would upgrade the ROM as a starting point. I see ur on cm. There are later versions of cm for the relay. Go here for up to date cm releases.

And here is our cm thread.

There are other ROMs for our device. Look around and see what you like. Im on liquid smooth. It's filled with custom settings. However the latest release has GPS bug. Cm may have this as well. Its kinda hit or miss. Good luck, have fun and always make a backup.

As I take a second glance the cm version of backbird is down . only for reventech rom s like L's. Im not sure how mixing and Matching would go. Be sure to read read read the op.
hi, actually i dont know if you noticed but these two are the same links and the other link is down. i've already been there because thats how i got where i am today, because these links still dont have what i am looking for: a download of just the kernels in zip CWM flashable formats for CM10.2.1. i've been looking for this, but i cant find it and that is why i am asking for help here.

No links there i see. Ask tdm (the cm maintainer) if he or someone over there could post a link to most recent build.
I have a Nextbook 7P, running on Gingerbread 2.3.1, which my father (the original owner of this account) has put some custom ROM or something on it. I'm not a hundred percent certain what all he did on there and I cannot ask him as he passed away in 2012.
Anyways, I found that the tablet does not have Google Play installed, which means I have virtually no way to install any apps. I've already tried checking to see if it was disabled.
I understand some terminology and the basics of ROM flashing, but I am by no means very tech savvy. Back when my dad was alive (I was 11 at the time) he was the major techie and I was sort of his protégé, but all I really did was develop some simple apps, so any simple and easy to do solutions would be very appreciated, thank you.
On google search for the stock rom of your device and flash it.

If you mean restore the original ROM, as in reverting it back to the factory settings, I don't necessarily want to lose any customizations that my dad put on there (for sentimental reasons), especially because I wouldn't know how to reflash said customizations.
Ok then do it with flashify
G'day XDA.
I have found out that AOSP ROMs (Lineage OS, Cosmic OS etc.) doesn't have the built in FM radio app when flashing the firmware. However the stock Samsung Touchwiz ROMs have the FM and works flawlessly.
So what exactly is the reason why AOSP has this issue? Is it possible to get it working?
My Chipset:
Exynos 7870
Mali GPU
Cheers!
I have managed to obtain a copy of the Motorolla FM Radio and it launches. It gives the error: currently not available.
I believe it need the libraries ported from the stock ROM to the AOSP ROM.

It looks like this may not be developed an longer, not sure because I didn't give it that detailed of a read, but you might try:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/spirit-fm/app-spirit2-free-source-real-fm-radio-t2951455
or
https://f-droid.org/en/packages/fm.a2d.sf/
In both cases, I'd try to use the F-Droid repo in case they are getting updated. The play store links no longer work and when I searched for them there was a result suggesting that the original developer has died, so hopefully they work for AOSP in its current state.

He was a patient dude when I had troubles with an app permission. Most developers don't even bother to address emails, I found out when I was gapps free for a while and was asking people to switch me from Google verification to Paypal.
Also know that he was, for a long time, the only dude in Android development that was working on FM receivers and transmitters on Android, as far as I know, so I hope the apps are still available and work out for you.

Also found this just now. Says its incompatible and I can't see if its free, but you can still try it from Yalp store, installable from F-droid, and see if it works. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nextradioapp.nextradio&hl=en
