Rooted apps - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

Rooted my skyrocket, new to Android. Just wondering what are some cool apps or cool stuff to do with a rooted phone.

Titanium Backup and Rom Manager. These are 2 "must have" apps, if your are rooted and plan on flashing roms and kernels. I also use Rom Toolbox Pro, this app has a ton of features. Check out the free versions first, if you like them, get the paid versions and help support the devs! The paid versions have a lot more features as well. Hope this helps....

titanium backup and freeze all the bs apps!
then get ad free and select options to move hosts file, create symlink and u wi have no more ads!
Then download gamecih and cheat on all your games! unlimited money, health etc!

Titanium Backup

Does this app backup saved games such as tapfish and guns n glory ww2 and how do you restore when flashing a new rom?
Sent from my SGH-T839 using XDA App
Yeah it does, then you just re-download the app and restore your data but I have had problems with it restoring the saved information. I have only tried the free version, maybe the paid one works better
Or you can create a flashable zip from within the app that you can then flash in recovery after you flash your ROM.
(this does work on the sk4g right?)

The paid one is totally worth it. Resoring is MUCH easier.

There are apps in the market that prevent memory use, freeze, applications, and uninstall junk apps. Always use caution when doing any of this though.

I've tried all them clean ram apps...they work until all the apps recollect themselves...
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA App
If you're phone is rooted, download Titanium and just freeze the apps (also take caution when do that)

If you want to keep the apps available for use but don't want them running unless you open them download autostarts in the market. Its 99 cents but I've been using it for months and its worth it.

Look in the reference Bible, there's guides for everything. Rooting the galaxy s 4g is super easy though, since you can use superoneclick. There's a step by step guide in the Bible along with links for all the necessary downloads.
Reference Bible is in the development section.
Oh yeah, you will need a computer.

Apps and changing a rom

I want to install a new rom but I just bought an app called Techno Kitty adventure. Will it let me redownload it without making me pay again?
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using XDA App
No you won't get charged again but you will lose your game data/progress. Get titanium backup to backup your apps.

No

I will not ask how to crack a paid app or any other warez.
I don't believe you will find someone willing to help you steal. If you like the pro version of titanium backup just buy it.

Hey I'm trying to use lucky patcher to get pro on titanium backup. It worked for like a while until recently idk which Rom after flashing TiBu just reverted to free. When patching whether the custom patch or auto license removal nothing works. Anyone have ideas? Is there a way to reset everything? I've in uninstalled, reinstalled, clear cache, deleted lucky patcher files, reinstalled etc

Why don't you just pay for it? Its not even that expensive...

I'm not gonna preech to you about morality, but, if you like the app so much, then maybe you should help the dev out and reward him for his hard work...he put allot of time into this app and is still developing it...

You can purchase the software here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...iY29tLmtlcmFtaWRhcy5UaXRhbml1bUJhY2t1cFBybyJd
No hassle, no need to mess with patchers and you get lifetime updates! :good:
Otherwise we cant help you and you would have to take this to another forum as this isnt looked very highly of in the XDA developers forums where "developers" work hard to provide software. There is always the free version and if you want more than you would just have to shell out.
