I happen to like Root Uninstaller (allows you to get rid of bloatware and backs up your apps in case you change your mind).
Also, Terminal Emulator comes in handy if you want to run some commands.
Titanium Backup
Super Manager
Keep the Lights On
Tegrak Ultimate
Voodoo Paid

I don't have a dialer.apk. Maybe one of these is what you need. You may need to just reflash whatever ROM you are on.
These files are out of stock GB ROM. You can open the zip file of the ROM you are on and extract whatever .apk you need. Then copy the .apk to your phone and push it into the system/app folder.

Adw EX settings

I'm using Adw EX when I reboot the theme will halfass reset. Meaning the icons will be half and half and themes without a dock will have a dock image. I know it isn't Adw because the other phone I use it on never does this. It doesn't matter what rom this always happens. All ideas are welcome except telling me to use go, it doesn't have the ability to only have four dock icons.

I'm using adw ex(got it on sale) and had a issue such as this only once, after re-installing issue went away(think it had something to do with the titanium backup)... Have you done the usual, writes and fix permissions?

Titanium backup (or similar) by far... without an app as convenient as that android wouldn't be half as sweet.

[Q] App Data backup without root??

I have looked in the playstore and most backup apps need root to backup app data. I bought a Skyrocket for a friend of mine overseas and I want to make sure he can transfer data from his apps to the Skyrocket. His phone is stock and not rooted. Anyone know a way to backup app data without root??

Lifehacker.com recommends Carbon. Haven't tried it yet myself. It's on my wishlist. Using App backup & restore by Infolife LLC myself. Haven't had the need to do a restore yet, so don't know if it's really good.
