Looks like shop blackberry .com are selling all the playbooks for $299. Could be the best digital picture frame ever built
Not worth the money. Maybe $99...for the 32GB
Umm I can walk into my local best buy and walk out with one for $199...
they don't even know how to discount them. How do you sell all three at the same price.
At $99 I'd bite just out of curiosity. At $299, no way in hell.

Does anyone think this phone will go on sale for Black Friday? If so, where? Online? At AT&T stores? How much might it be discounted? With new contracts, upgrades, or no contracts? Let's get some crystal balls going
I doubt it. The discounts might probably only be on the accessories though. They released the phone too close to Black Friday...probably to avoid Black Friday deals on the Fuze.
I'm not sure one way or the other, but I'm holding off buying the Fuze until I see if there are any Black Friday deals. Let's face it, people aren't spending money these days, Circuit City is about to close it's doors; companies are doing whatever they can to get people to spend some money.
Dunno, but let's hope.
I don't know either, but I will be getting the difference if deals surface!
I picked up a Fuze at the AT&T Corp. store in Hickory, NC on Thursday. In the bag they put the Fuze box in was a flyer about their Black Friday Sale.
Special Hours & Special Offers - 7am to 10pm - Come before 10am for "Door Buster" Specials.
No more specifics but I'll be checking that morning to see if the Fuze is any less than what I paid.

Letstalk.com has a deal going on right now for the FUZE. Free after $99 rebate with new 2 yr contract or $249 with 2 yr contract for upgrade.... That's the best deal available right now for the fuze considering AT&T offers it for 199 after 50 rebate.

Amazon has it for $150 so that's the best deal out there
My guys at the Millsboro Delaware, US told me the Blackberry Bold was on for B-Friday.
Samsung really ought to thank Barns & Nobles and Amazon. Lots of people bought these devices for the holiday, realized they're poor excuses for tablets, and returned them.
And now the more expensive galaxy tab, only 100 or so more saltier than the above craplets, is a viable choice. I wouldn't have paid 400 for one, but now with the cheaper price at best buy, it's only a hundred dollar jump from the nook tab. Especially, if you opt to pick it up from a store in a tax free state.
Has anyone found a better (lower than $350) price, or even the same price at somewhere other than Best Buy? They are sold out in literally a 50 mile radius around from where I live. I would hate to see the price go back to $400 before I get my grubby mitts on one.
Hey, it's a good sign, no? The more popular the device, the greater liklihood of great and diverse dev support, right?
Duely blundered from my thunderdolt
Amazon has them for 349.99. No tax in most states.. Very easy return if you have a problem with it.
Got my GT7+ brand new for $299 (before tax) at CompUSA. But that's because it was an unadvertised store special on Black Friday.
I'm sure they are back to the usual $399. Still, my belief is that everything is negotiable. Ask to talk with a manager and try to swing a deal, say a lower price on the tablet as long as you purchase a memory card with it or a case or some other accessory. Can't hurt to ask.
Hey All,
Just wondering if anyone has had any success getting a price match from other retailers (ATT, Best Buy etc) on the $49.99 price advertised last week through Amazon and Radioshack. I ask because I tried today with Best Buy after a user posted a receipt image indicating that he was able to get a Best Buy in FLA to sell it for 49.99. I really want this phone and the cheaper the better. Thoughts?
Dude read the thread three threads down.....
killing is my business, And business is good.
I went to two Best Buy's with a copy of that receipt and they both said that the employee who did the price match was making an error. They only match advertised price. Radio shack never advertised $50, it was a pricing error. Plus even if they did have a special pre-order price, that advertising ended when the device released on the 6th, and now all places are advertising $200.
The guy in florida got lucky with a dumb bestbuy employee (who will probably get in a lot of trouble)
I missed the Amazon sale, but Amazon matched the RadioShack price. $50 shipped w/ no tax. WINNING!
Billy
That was my receipt
So much win
I got AT&T to match Radioshack's $149.99 deal.
The best I managed was my local Best Buy matching Amazon.
I got the original Amazon deal when they matched RS's $50. I wish I bought two then =*(

actually that thread is about people who got a $50 HOX from radioshack. This thread is about people who had success in getting that price honored at other places. Next time try and read both threads. would help you not look so rude/ like a jerk.
ATT matched my price, I called support and mentioned I was worried about loosing my unlimited data and the rep said he could match.
My exact sentiments. I'm going to keep trying to get it for less even though it is probably futile.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA
Is Amazon Wireless still the best place to get the HTC One X? It is $149 there for both upgrades and new line. Are there any other places that is currently selling the HOX for a lower price?
Your best bet is still Amazon.
I still can't believe I picked up the One X for $50 total through Amazon. Sorry, had to rub that in.
That's ok. I wasn't eligible for an upgrade during that promotion anyway. No regrets. While $149 itself is a great deal, it will be nice to get it for even cheaper. How long does it take for prices for Andriod phones to drop below their original price after the phone is released? Can it take months?
Some Best Buy's and ATT (depending on store, or phone rep) will match that price. It's a nice phone, but it's early days and not immune to quality issues. Having the option of taking it to a physical store to exchange is good at this point.
Got mine at Sam's Club for $148.88. Yeah, it's not much less, but a buck's a buck.
How does amazon price phones and other devices so.much lower than the phone carriers? What do the get out of it?
I Murder Murderers
I believe they are just another third party seller, and they just make some profit off their devices, where as other company's take the device that they purchase, then mark the price up much higher so they make a higher share of profits. Amazon makes a lot of money because it is like a whole seller and makes some profits, but there are so many purchases that occur, that it makes a large share of money
So how do they sell 700 dollar phones for 150 on a Sprint line. Obviously 2 totally different companies

They are a reseller for Sprint? They pay $500 for the phone, the customer pays 150, and sprint gives them a $400 fee for the customers contract. They make $50.
This is Amazon we're talking about. They undersell everyone.

This. They get a commission for the contract just like Best Buy, Radio Shack, etc. get when they sell you phones.
Amazon uses its position as a market leader to undercut competition. They make deals with manufacturers and other companies to receive products for less (in exchange the manufacturer or company selling the product gets access to Amazon's enormous customer base). They also, especially around the holidays, sell products at a loss. It's referred to as a "loss leader" and lots of different businesses employ the tactic. The idea is that you market a product at a very low price, a price that you are actually losing money by selling the product, but in turn you gain a customer who will buy 10 other things that sell at a profit.
