Have some of you got this controller working on the r ?
I have tried almost every app for this purpose but the only thing I've got is to make it recognize the wiimote but the app crashes after a second.
They speak about problems with TW...
Is it possible to use any other controller? Ps3, Xbox...?
Thanks everybody

I haven't tried wiimote but it should work.
PS3 controller can be used with the right software over bluetooth and also could be possible with an OTG cable.

Hey guys, I was looking to purchase a USB OTG setup and had a few questions for those who have it and use it (please, only respond if you use OTG and can help ).
1) Is OTG reliable / stable? As in: can I store music on it and easily play it through a media player with no lag / media scan delay?
2) Is it possible to store game data on the storage? In example, Vice City or Modern Combat require you download ~1gb of files (game data) to the SD, can this be placed / read from OTG instead of /storage/sdcard?
3) TWRP backups directly to OTG / TWRP support. As stated in TWRP's OP, OTG should be supported. Any comments denying such? This would be one of my main uses for OTG.
4) ROM Support: I plan on using USB OTG with the ViperOneS 2 ROM and CM10.1 on and off. Do these ROMs support OTG by default or will I NEED to install a custom kernel to enable support? I know Flar's Sense kernel enables it but wasn't sure if OTG is possible without a custom kernel or on CM stock.
If anyone can answer these any of these questions I would greatly appreciate it. I am really interested in OTG since the One S has a limited storage space. Thanks again!

1, Yes you can.
2, not sure
3, not sure
4, Any JB rom has it. AOSP will need an app like USB OTG Helper.
^^ Thank you very much. But would still really appreciate answers for numbers 2 and 3 if anyone else can help.
1) Yes, its stable as such. It drains the battery quite fast though.
2) Not directly, no. You will need to get an app that can make links from the original location (/sdcard/whatever/) pointing to the USB device.
I used to have such an app for my TF (pointing stuff from /sdcard/ to /mnt/Removable/MicroSD), but I dont remember what its called.
3) It detects USB sticks, but I havnt tried restoring anything from it.
4) Dont know about CM10.1, but 10.0 supports OTG right away.

2) I know two apps: GL to SD and DirectoryBind. There are probably other apps that do this.
4) it works fine on CM10.1 too
3. I started taking backups and restoring them via my 8gb flash drive the day TWRP started supporting OTG.. absolutely no issues, except for the fact that it takes longer than usual to complete the backup/restore procedure...
Rest all questions are answered above my post..

Hey guys!
I'm new on this Forum, so I'd like to say: Hello everyone!
My question to this thread is: did anyone try to use the OTG to connect with a camera like Nikon or Canon?
Are there any additional drivers/apps required for it?

Hey abhi,
Yes, otg cable with work with your device. Download an app from the play store called stickmount(root only) or you buy the cable, insert it into the charging cum usb port and connect a pen drive (no root). And i have an otg cable but i have used only pen drives and hard disks with it. I THINK that tab 2 does not have 3g dongle support.
P.S - I am an indian too.
Good luck
